'Why is she acting like she already accepted the situation?' Liam said to himself, his eyebrows met while looking at Violet who was attending to the man he punched earlier.

"Can you excuse us and rearrange this meeting? I will make sure next time that no one can follow us." Violet said emphatically

Liam was so guilty but didn't have enough time to reciprocate his feelings.

Clarence stood up while Jeric supported him and he approached Violet and kissed her hand while saying, "I'm glad that we can meet again."

He looked at Liam and his face showed annoyance that caused Clarence to smile and added, "Hopefully you're not engaging---again."

Jeric and Clarence left and went out while Liam and Violet stayed inside, Violet just looked at the man in front of her and she couldn't stop being annoyed.

"Don't you know that I could lose a big deal, what are your actions for, and why did you act like that Mr. Dawnson?" Violet said it calmly and seriously.

Hearing the "Mr. Dawnson" from earlier was easy for Liam to swallow because they were at work but now that they were in another place, Liam felt that justice wasn't on his side.

He said. "I'm just worried about where you found a business partner that kisses your hand---we can find another partnership."

Violet held her forehead and said, "I won't look for anyone else because we already made a deal! What you saw are personal matters!"

"Ugh! I don't know why I'm still making an effort to make you understand when you invaded my space!" Violet continued to pace and Liam clenched his hand turning it into a fist, he said, "Personal? So, what you're talking about is no longer business related?"

"You weren't even guilty of your actions? Steve was there at my grandma and then you're---here---talking about personal issues?! Are you kidding me?"

From that then Violet's feelings were hurt and asked, "So what are you implementing? That I'm here flirting with another man instead of watching over my son?!"

Violet catches her breath looking at him, she is looking at Liam very angrily.

He clicked his tongue and said, "Then what is this personal matter all about, Violet? And why---does he have to kiss your hand?!"

Violet rolled her eyes and passed by Liam when she passed a little bit, Violet stopped in her tracks and said, "He's my ex and I don't know why you're acting like this when you're already my ex."

Liam hand began to tremble and didn't know what to say, he couldn't agree with what Violet said but he also couldn't do anything to cover himself.

Liam turned and saw that Violet already left the door and after a split second got on board this car before he could notice the chance for him to clean up this mess.

"I can't believe that he said to my face who does he think he is?!" Violet was so pissed that after she got in the car she ordered Jeric to drive to where Miss Emelda lived to fetch Steve.

Violet was thankful enough to keep Miss Emelda's company but Violet couldn't help but worry about what Liam would say to Emelda so without hesitation she said to take Steve out of there.

They reached the gate of Miss Emelda's residence and Jeric opened the door for Violet and said, "What time will we come back to fetch you, Miss?"

Violet looked at the building in front of her and hugged herself, she faced Jeric and said, "I can manage to get myself a taxi, but---are you sure that you can manage all of my meetings for today?"

Violet was a little worried because she knew Jeric had done a lot more besides being her secretary. Jeric was also her mentor and usually savior when she ran out of business-related words.

Jeric smiled at her and Violet felt her heart melt.

He said, "Please don't worry and make this time the most out of it. I know how hard. Like it was for your father to look at you from afar and that was hard for a parent and their child."

Violet smiled and walked towards Jeric, she threw her hands on Jeric's neck to hug him and said, "Thank you, Jeric! For---always being there for us."

Jeric was stunned as his heart started to beat fast Violet heard this and thought that it was hers and said, "I'm just nervous."

Jeric chuckled and said, "We must take our leave to see you tomorrow Miss." Jeric bowed and Violet smiled

She walked towards the big metal gate and the guard saw her and said, "Miss! Why didn't you tell me that you are going to visit here?"

Violet just smiled and asked, "Can I come in?"

The guard smiled happily and opened the door for Violet. Violet looked around and realized nothing has changed, she looked at every window and suddenly she saw what she saw that day before they left and how she manages to give her ring back with the help of Justine.

Violet continued to hug herself as she got closer and closer to the big door with a trembling hand she pressed the doorbell and waited for someone to open it.

"Miss Lily!" It was Justine's greeting that surprised to see Violet again.

Justine hugged her and Violet hugged Justine back, Violet missed that feeling of being welcomed home after that day they left.

Violet smiled at Justine and said, "Is Steve here? I've had some free time so I decided to swing by."

Justine nodded her head energetically, "He's here Miss do you know I was thrilled that you are here, please stay for dinner."

Violet acted awkward while Justine pushed her to walk into the living room

"What are you doing here?" asked a familiar voice spoke that caught Violet's attention then looked at who it was and said, "I'm here to fetch my son."

Steve looked at the standing Violet but he ignored it which made Princess laugh and said, "If you're wondering why I'm here, Liam told me to look after his child since his mother failed to do so."

Princess stood up while Justine was convincing Steve that his mother was deeply sorry.

Violet looked at his son who had no other emotions but disappointment in his eyes.
