Liam's point of view:

The room was so quiet and the atmosphere couldn't be described. An hour had already passed but none of us wanted to talk to Lily, who is now washing the dishes.

Grandma was just looking at her with sadness in her eyes, and then her gaze landed on me and she gestured for me to come.

When Grandma reached my ears when I got close to her and said, "We'll stroll the pool and such, and when you're okay, you can go and follow us."

I was scared because I don't know how to comfort someone who is going through what they are going through. What if I only made it worse?

As he patted my back, Granda said, "Just be yourself---and let Lily handle it herself all the way."

I was taken aback, but I knew what Liam wanted to convey. After Justine had packed their things, they went out and said goodbye to Lily, but there were no other words that came back to her, so they decided to just go out.

I was left and caressed my nape, because I didn't know what to do and how to tell her. Instead, I hugged her and said, "Do you want to hear my explanation?"

"How and when did that happen?"

"Why did the situation become like that and how did it happen?"

Lily just held my hand that was placed on her abdomen and she turned to look at me and said, "Yes, I want to know."

She smiled but the feeling never reached her eyes and it caused me to feel heartbroken. I held her hand and dragged her to the sofa.

The shock was obvious in his eyes, and what else he was feeling. I was really clueless about what to do, but I took a deep breath and said, "Ready?"

Lily just nodded towards me and I said, "The wedding was done secretly."

"It was only through a paper that made the old man so happy. We stayed like that for a week. Midzy would go to my house to hang out, but I swear nothing happened to us."

I reach for some of her hair and sniff it.

"If you are guessing that something happened to us, it wasn't. It was just a pLiam, and that pLiam comes with a large amount of money."

"Yes, I didn't agree at first, but when---I saw my grandfather, who was struggling a lot..."

"I hurriedly accepted the proposal, and after a week of acting like a newlywed, my grandpa passed away," I say with a sad smile.

"Around 100 million dollars. So I don't know why your father's company is in a losing state"

Lily's eyes widen with worry, and she says, "Los---? M-my dad's company?"

I just nodded. After that meeting, somehow Mr. Daniel found a way to reach me and said, "Your father wants you to be ready when the time has come."

"Ready for what?"

I just hugged her and she did the same to me. I saw her ring and said, "I'll say it when the time has come, but for now---"

"Please hold on to me and we will find the best lawyer to separate the two of you."

Lily just smiled and said, "Yes, but prepare me for what? Is he okay?"

I was expecting her to be ignorant when it came to this topic. God knows that she knows that what she went through was too bad and a simple apology couldn't fix everything that had happened, but the concern in her eyes was the sole reason for how she took care of herself and how soft-hearted she really is.

"Please don't leave me..." I utter this word breathlessly.

Those words uttered on my lips caused her to bring out many tears in her eyes, and I didn't know what to do.

I was so guilty of making her feel this way and I didn't know what I could say to her, but I left out the most important part: not to put pressure on her.

They hugged for a short while, while Lily burried her face on Liam's chest.

Lily just smiled at me as if overwhelmed by what I said, and I just smiled, and she asked, "Where did they go?"

"They went out to give us some space because you've been quiet this whole time and you are quite scary."

Lily just chuckled and said, "You know, you're scarier."

I looked at her confused and said, "Me? On what grounds?"

Lily chuckled and pushed me so I felt on the rug. She was on top of me and the room was filled with our laughter and she said, "This ground."

And Lily's face was so close to mine and her fluffy lips landed on my thin lips, and a smack turned it into a passionate one that I stopped and asked again because I was restless.

"Are you okay now?"

Lily just looked at me and said, "I was just worried."

"About what?" I asked.

And she just looked at me and ran her finger through my hair like appreciating everything that was placed on my face and said, "I'm just nervous that maybe this ring wasn't enough to fight for you, but we will find a powerful lawyer even if it runs out of my money."

"I will fight you, LiamLiam."

I just smiled as I felt soft. I don't know, but I think this was the next step for our bond to get stronger, and I just said, "Do you want us to follow Grandma?"

Lily just looked at me like I was teasing and said, "I thought you were ready for the nth round of taking each other."

I spanked her butt and said, "you naughty girl!"

I just kissed her multiple times and her laughter filled the room like the empty space I had when she was silent.
