Chapter 5: Chapter 5
I chose to alter my name and correct it without telling Christian because that was the saddest aspect of my life that I didn't want others to know about, from Violet Lennox to Lily Tilford. I'm still sorry for altering my name, but I'll see my mother shortly.
---
Christian questioned me, "Are you sure you're leaving?"
I eventually chose to leave Christian's house because I didn't want him to be told that he is caring for a child who is not his own or that he is dating a single mother.
"Yes, you can see me and Steve at work," I said to him, and he smiled.
"Aw, I'm going to miss you both." He said as he raised Steve and my baby giggled. They both did so while I was busy carrying the boxes. I don't know why Christian is being dramatic. We were just moving next to his house, and it was his apartment too, so I laughed.
It's been days and I've accumulated a bit. I don't know what happened after that. When we got out of the VIP room and Christian had already left, I was left in awe.
-----
After the incident...
"Girl, can you come here for a bit?" I immediately went to the cashier, and I sighed because I thought it was the last table where I delivered the order, but who doesn't want overtime?
"Someone left this in your name, and he's a hottie," Dafne said, and I was shocked.
It was an envelope, but I didn't look at it first. Maybe just some sort of letter.
"I thought there was another ticket, anyway. Great work." I told Dafne, and she was just looking at me while chewing her gum, so I just went straight to the locker to get my stuff.
Then when I got dressed and ready to go home, I opened the envelope and it was a check.
"1 million dollars!" I shouted, and I was also surprised at why I shouted, but it was good that I was alone.
I don't know what his game was, but when I pulled the check out, a small piece of paper came out, and it was with a written word like
"Thank you for your time-B.C," I said, puzzled because the initiative was the same as something I had before.

After we settled everything in the new house, I was with Steve and Jenny. We were picking up groceries.
"So, that's just what happened? Didn't you say the man was handsome? " Jenny asked as she pushed the cart on which Steve was riding.
And all I could do was roll my eyes. I can see where this is going. Christian, her brother, was the first person she informed me about her dating attempts. Now she'll pursue me on a date with the man I saw at the pub who handed me that large sum of money.
"Did you confront him already?" Jenny asked
"Yes, I said I'd return the money, but he just told me that it was just an excess of what he had and told me to buy anything I needed it for," I said to Jenny
"Why don't we just use it, Lily? or let's split it in half." She said, and I pinched her cheek with my hand.
"Silly! I'll still return it, Miss Jenny, because it's not mine. Maybe later it'll be someone else's money and we'll spend it. Do you want me to pay you instead of money? " I said to her while picking up the last thing I needed on my list.
"Kidding----" she said, and we both just laughed.
I'm not sure, but we were waiting for an available cashier, and the grandma in front of us was chastised by the cashier because she said she had dropped her wallet, and I felt sorry for the old lady since she could be thirsty.
Then I stepped in.
"Miss, I'll pay for it as well as the ones I bought," I said to her, but she just stared at me, so I took a deep breath.
I get that it was against their rules, but she didn't have to shout at the old lady because she didn't have the exact money to pay for it.
"Thank you, kind miss," said the old lady to me, and I just smiled at her.
I'm not sure, but she left right away, and she appears to be capable of living a normal life, but it feels good to help in some way, and while I was staring at her, she waved again, and I bowed my head while smiling. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm glad I could help.
"Do you know that old woman, Lily?" Jenny asked as we put our purchases on the counter, and then I shook my head and helped her.
Then, after we settled everything, I looked at them and realized they both needed a treat.
"Baby, do you like ice cream?" I asked Steve, who was riding in a baby cart being pushed by Jenny, and the other cart I pushed was full of the things we bought.
He happily said yes, and we went straight to the store. Steve gets excited. Hay,

"What do you think, Grandma?" Liam asked the woman sitting opposite where he was seated.
He was already wearing his silk pajamas.
The lady took a sip of her coffee and, as she remembered what happened, she smiled.
"She was as lovely as before and, as always, a good person," said Emelda.
Then Liam was grinning from ear to ear and couldn't help but giggle.
"What is this?" Said the old woman in disbelief
"It seems like you've just wanted to run away from this arranged marriage, but what happened?" The old woman asked the man in front of her
Even Liam didn't know, but there was something about her that was pulling him towards her and it was unexplainable. Then his phone suddenly started to ring, which brought a smile to his face, and it was Lily's number.
"Hello? Mr. Liam Dawson. Would you like to meet me on Feb. 24 at Moonbucks? "
And that made Liam laugh like a fool, and he knew she'd ultimately come to her senses and look for him as well, and he figured after a long period of searching in the pub, he'd just discover the woman he'd been looking for with a new name, "Lily."
"See you later," Liam murmured as he hung up the phone.
Then he lay down on the bed, thinking it was the first time he had ever felt happy.
He has no idea what her grandmother did, but it appears that the elderly lady approved of Lily, which made him very happy.
