"I want her for Liam, that's all."

Haidee's face turned red, and then she looked at Liam and Lily .

"You are one lucky girl. I hope you know that." Haidee said, while holding one hand on her waist.

Lily was just lost for words, and so was Liam. Emelda was just looking at the three of them losing their cool.

"You guys are a mess. Rest well."

"Good night." Emelda said, as she was walking with her cane in her night gown.

"You should sleep as well, Haidee." Emelda said "Pray that when you wake up you will have wringkles." She added

After the old lady said that, Haidee rampaged through her purse and looked at her face in the small mirror. She noticed her line, "Oh my god! It's your fault, these two!"

Lily just looked at Haidee as her wavy hair was moving with every step she took.

Lily and Liam were left in the living room, and it was awkward to see each other's eyes.

"Ahm—"

"You go first"

They both said it again, and they avoided eye contact again, and then Liam spoke, "Please, I hope you don't mind, Haidee."

He caressed his nape and added, "She's like a brat, but she's a kind person."

"Of course." Lily said, as she intertwined her hands and looked at him, "Can you tell me what you were saying earlier?"

Liam just looked at her. In agony, he didn't know how to say it.

"Yes, I'm ready, but I can't lose her."

Lily's eyebrows rose, and she was looking at him, and then Liam looked in the other direction.

"I was just telling you that."

Liam felt like there was a big blockage in his throat, and he suddenly felt thirsty.

"I really have something important to do."

Liam stood up and offered his hand to Lily, "Come on, I'll take you to your room."

Lily accepted the hand and stood up and followed Liam. She kept on looking at him and wondered if there was really something wrong, because she knew the person she was holding her hand with.

"I'd rather be with you than do stressful work that I can do the next day. I'm not a robot."

That's what Liam said to Lily that he would never forget.

"Go on, enter your room now." Liam said calmly.

Lily was about to hold the door knob when she suddenly turned around again and said, "If that's work-related, why don't you just stay here?" You said you're not a robot."

Lily told her inner self: "What an insensitive girl!"

Liam just looked at her as he was torn about what he was going to do, but he prevented himself from staying and being swayed and coldly said, "I appreciate that you said that, but I just can't."

Liam turned and stopped by the living room to fetch his things and went outside, as she looked at him after he walked out the door.

"You're just overthinking things, Lily."

Lily shrugged her shoulders and whispered, "Good night," and headed to her bed to have a good night.

But as she was trying to close her eyes, she was uneasy about what happened. She didn’t know what she should do, so instead she got up and typed something on her phone.

The morning came and everyone was busy, just like any other morning. Andrea, the house maid, was monitoring everything. She was really pissed at what she was doing.

"How come that woman was someone that Lady Emelda chose?" The other maid, named Red, said while she was arranging the plates that would be used at the morning banquet.

"Yes, I know that even though Andrea's job is just like this, she was really close with Liam and he brought her here." Cherry said as she was placing the bread

Andrea couldn't take it anymore, especially when she heard about the conversation they had last night.

"It even pissed me off that Haidee is in this house."

She rolled her eyes and added, "She's not even our master, but she has more orders than Lady Emelda. "

Andrea's head was boiling, and then Lily entered the kitchen to refill the water she used to drink so they wouldn't come out just to go get water.

"Good morning." Lily's heartfelt greetings

On the other hand, Andrea smiled, but her eyes were telling her vicious that her plan would happen.

"Why don't you eat? The food is ready on the table." Andrea said to her

Lily was so unsure because she knew it was rude to start eating, especially without Miss Emelda, and she was a bit shy.

"Oh no-" she said, shaking her hands.

"The answer shouldn't be like that, since I'll be a little sad, especially when you're acting like that, to what I was offering you."

"Now about my offer? Shall we?" Andrea gestured for her to take a seat.

And the maids beside them have this weird grin on their faces.

Lily sat down but wasn't sure but she sat herself and Andrea even pushed her seat, but it was so very forward, her tummy was so close to the edge of her, it was hurting but she said nothing.

"Enjoy your breakfast, my lady." Andrea said, and snapped her fingers.

And all of the maids around her approached Lily suspiciously.

"Here, have some bread." Red said and she slapped it in Lily's face, which shocked her.

Melanie laughed and held the tea, "Here's some tea, so you can't choke yourself with some bread." and poured it into Lily's hand.

"Are you all out of your mind?" Lily asked while she was by the sink to rinse her burnt hands due to the hot tea.

Andrea, as she came back, had an egg in her hand and threw it at Lily, who was on her back on the sink.

Lily's eyes sank as they continued to toss eggs at her, which were barely cracking on her back.

Andrea pushed her so hard that she hardly fell to the ground and said, "That's for everything that you steal, especially what was supposed to be mine!"

Lily's shoulder was shaking, and a grin flashed through Andrea's face, "So easy."

Then, as they turned, Lily laughed from the top of her lungs and even rolled, and everyone was frightened.

Lily looked at them and her face turned ugly.

"Now you've all done it."
