I did nothing but just stare and decided to just go home because I had nothing to do there and I couldn't be with him and spaced out all the time. No, not happening. I don't know why and how I will deal with him again, but it seems like I was assuming he didn't know, because once Liam found out, I was the one who he was supposed to marry before Midzy, but I was so shy and I didn't know how to deal with him, especially if my reasons were that I was pregnant by someone I didn't know.

I was just lying on the sofa thinking about how that day went by just like that, with Midzy and now the revelation on Liam's part. I started to overthink if he knew who I was or if he really had a clue what happened. I didn't realize the time, and it was already 7 pm when I realized I still didn't have any food ready. Even Steve, Jenny, and Justine weren't here.

I got something to cook in the fridge and decided to make spaghetti and meatballs since I couldn't think of any other dish I wanted to make. There is no occasion, but I just want to make myself happy. Yes, stress eating it is.

While cooking, I contacted Jenny's number but it was out of reach, so I just thought of it as if they were having fun, but it was almost 7:40 and I was starting to worry. I called Justine, but she also didn't answer.

I was holding a spatula, and was thinking where they were

"Ahhh!"

Because my reflexes were fast, I hit what was in front of me because of the shock and depth of thought.

"Oh my! I'm so sorry, Jenny. " I said to her while there was some pasta hanging in her hair.

And I ended up laughing while removing the paste that was in her hair. So did Justine.

"Stop it! Both of you! " She told us, and stomped out the door to change her clothes; what happened was hilarious, and I didn't even mean it.

"Hurry and comeback! I'm sorry! Let's have a dinner together! " I shouted at Jenny when I got out.

I was still laughing at the sight I saw, and it was really unexpected. I didn't know that they had returned from their trip. I was about to go in to ask Justine if Steve had eaten before he fell asleep. He was already asleep when they came, but I stopped my pace.

"You only invited Jenny; is it because you're being courted by that man and I'm not allowed to come over?" He said and smirked.

"Can I join you? Looks like you prepared more, " Christian asked.

Liam's point of view

Before, we were just standing where we were standing, and Lily was just staring in awe. I'm not concerned, but I know why she's being like that. I know what I said was a bit shocking, but I can't say it to her, not now. I'm more afraid to tell her what's true. Maybe later she'll be shocked and never let me see her or Steve again. I just drove and dropped her off in front of their house, and it was so awkward.

"How can you be so sure that the child you are saying is yours?"

"That was just one night, Liam. One night! " Princess said.

We were in the office, and she was sitting on my chair. I don't know, but I was offended by what she said, like Lily is some sort of dirty woman.

"Watch what you say, Princess." I said firmly to her.

"It's just a fact!" She says

"A fact? Or is your brain just dirty? " I asked him and he was silent.

I don't want to get it that far, but my patience has a limit, you know, and it's not appropriate for a woman like her to think foully of other women. That wasn't valid enough.

"You should run a DNA test. That's all I wanted to say. " She said to me.

And yes, I do plan to, and somehow Princess's right, you know, that Lily has a boyfriend or maybe she's seeing someone, but in my opinion, she's not that type that will do something like that, something silly.

I was still thinking about what was going on in my head, and talking to Princess didn't seem right, and it didn't take my mind off the fact that I was in a mess, especially since that's what happened; I wasn't expecting that freak to show up in that restaurant.

"But did you know the news?"

"What news?" I asked Princess while looking at her.

"Midzy's dad's company was about to be bankrupt." Princess said to me, and the door opened.

"That wasn't true," said the woman who suddenly entered my office.

"Because I'll offer something to you, Mr. Dawnson." Midzy said

I was just looking at her as she was looking around, and her gaze was stuck on Princess, who didn't really care about Midzy being in front of us.

"Aren't you supposed to sit on that chair? Why is she even there? She's not even beautiful. " Midzy said, and my eyebrows rose.

Just like how I did when I first saw her, I know people who look like that, and I won't wonder why their company went bankrupt.

Princess just smirked and said

"I know you. You're the freak at a fashion show that caused a ruckus. " Princess and the woman were shocked.

And I was just looking at them, clueless about what she went through here and how dare she act like that in front of me. I was so right that I never even once glanced at her, feeling something.

"So, what's your offer?" I asked her

"Can we talk in a private room?" Midzy asked me almost seductively, but she wanted to make me a scene more, and I was just looking at her, biting her nails, so I just scratched my neck and even rubbed my forehead.

"No, if you have something to say, say it here."

"You're not that nice for me to talk to you about in a private room for a private matter." I said to her and she grasped the paper she was holding tight, making it cramp, just as I thought this lady is delusional.

"That girl you were with the other day," she said, and I had a gut feeling what she was about to say, and then Midzy smirked.

"That girl got pregnant by a random boy at the bar."
