Chapter 83: Chapter 83

Judging by the shape of its head, I instantly knew it is a python. Too much watching from discovery channel made me this way.

“That’s a python, chill!” I said, reassuring him

“Python? Wow!” It didn't even reassure him. I think I just traumatized him.

“It’s not poisonous.” I said, “and it seems to be still growing. Its mama might be around somewhere.”

“Mama? You mean there is a bigger python here?” Mathee looked so shocked right now as if he could faint anytime.

I rolled my eyes. “Is this your first time seeing a snake?”

I caught the snake and threw it away. “Goodbye, snakey. Awee, you must be lost. Find you, mama.”

“Wow! You have an Amazon woman right here.” Matheo commented.

“Good job, babe.” Theon complimented.

After that incident, we were awake the whole night because of Matheo. Our backs are also snipped by little crabs and we were wrapped with mosquitos.

This was the most uncomfortable sleep I had ever had. Plus the leftover fish we had last night seems to be missing.

I thought Matheo ate it secretly but judging by his scared face, he didn't.

So I figured it was the monkeys.

The moment the sun arose, I removed my dress and went to have a bath in the sea.

This is also the perks. We get to have a free resort view here. I saw Rameo waking up and I decided to stay longer by the water, not wanting to be left alone with him.

It was fine to talk to him with Theon present. But since Theon is sleeping, it feels uncomfortable to stay alone with Rameo.

Especially since our past situation.

We haven’t talked about it but there is this awkward feeling when we saw each other again. I am sure he must be feeling it too.

When I saw Matheo waking up, I returned and sat by the sand while overlooking the view.

I am starting to think of a business. Why not make a sea restaurant? Like a traveling ship with different kinds of cuisines so they would see and help any people who had been stranded like us.

I decided to save that business idea and saw Rameo walking toward me. He handed a coconut to me.

“Thanks,” I mumbled.

“That's for the coffee. Well, more like a coconut coffee.” He said. “I tried.”

I nodded, seeing how it looked like a coffee, “How did you do it?”

He shrugged, “Secret.”

I am thankful we have him on this island adventure. That’s right. Let us look at the bright side.

“This tastes…decent. Better to have coffee than nothing.” I complimented and he smiled, seemingly more comfortable to me now.

“I am glad you liked it.”

He seems to be hesitant to approach me. I patted the seat just beside me and motioned for him, “Sit. Let’s talk.”

He did as I told him and sat in silence.

Damn. What did I think I was talking about?

A lot. but my lips cloud. bring it to say the words.

I guess I have to start now because it's starting to get awkward.

“You know that I and your twin Theon are together. What’s your reaction?” I mumbled, getting straight to the point. It would be good not to drag this out any longer.

He looked at the waves in front of us, “Angry, and disappointed at first. But I accepted it. Like me, he fell too. and that’s my twin, that's his life, I do not have any right to dictate what I want..”

“Right.” I agreed, glancing at the sleeping figure of Theon.

“I didn't even expect to be his girlfriend too. I was keen on running away from any of your Venesian twins.” I said, “Because I learned enough. guess I fell into your traps.”

“You won't seek revenge anymore?” I asked.

“No. I am good. I went to meditate on the mountains that is why I have inner peace now. I have forgiven your family.” I made sure to check his expression to make sure he was serious but he looked genuine.

“Thanks.”

I saw Theon waking up now and Matheo pulling him to the trees as he talked excitedly. Theon looked so done with his twin and just kept up with his brother., not having any choice. I am happy we got to sit and chit-chat about this. Thinking about it now, we seemed to have grown up and matured more. At least we’ll slowly despite this hatred inside us with each other. or at least lessen it.

“Where are they going,” I asked.

Matheo signaled something to Rameo and Rameo nodded, “I think they’ll need to have some serious talk.”

I nodded.

“But don’t take me wrong. I won’t chase you anymore.” He said, “I only see you as my brother’s girlfriend and nothing more. I won’t disturb your peaceful life anymore.”

“Yes. I can see that.”

“So…how is life being with your brother?” He said, “Just asking his brother.. He didn't do anything rude to you?”

“I am happy.” Was the only thing I could respond with. How else should I say That we were busy clinging to each other and kissing each other's face-off?

As. if. I would be too embarrassed. I think that would be Theon's response if he was ever asked about our relationship.

“I can see that.”

A day passed by just from coconut water and some random fruits Matheo got from hunting anywhere. I am surprised that we didn’t die at this point.

Except we only had upset stomachs. Constipated and couldn't sleep and feeling lethargic plus the bad situation where we would find random snakes and wake up all red from mosquito bites and random mini crabs.

The animals here must have been surprised how a person is here so they are not used to us and got curios,

And don't forget the fact that we were chased down by a whole swarm of bees when Matheo somehow managed to mistakenly think the honeycomb was a fruit. Now his whole face was swollen from being bitten.

“Wait!” That was Rameo calling out as he was falling behind us. He was clutching his foot and hissing in pain.

Matheo sighed, “Ah, you really can't do things without me?

Rameo couldn't run and Matheo helped him. “This as a price when we get back, you know brother.” He mumbled and Rameo glared at him, not having a choice.

As I spent my third day with them, and now have a twenty percent hope of being rescued. As I looked at the bickering triplets, the only triplets. I met her in my life. I couldn't help but notice.

Each has its charms and qualities. Theon the hot-tempered twin, my boyfriend. His arms are covered in a snake tattoo and his back had a butterfly tattoo, his ears had to pierce. Matheo, the youngest, the playboy who wants to flirt anytime anywhere, and has a very carefree attitude, and Rameo, the smart and serious type who wears eyeglasses due to poor eyesight and was just in a wheelchair years ago.

if it was summed up, this would be it.

On the fourth day, we were all down and feeling very tired. even Matheo, the most energetic among us was now on his own watching the sea in silence.

We had managed to befriend a monkey. We would give it food sometimes and it would trade back with some fruits, especially bananas. I named the monkey Jeric..which was the name of Theon’s bodyguard.

Theon laughed when he knew it but accepted it, saying how it was a brilliant idea. At least we are reminded by him and how similar the monkey is to Jeric.

and one of these similarities is that he obeys Theon’s commands and always sticks to him. It's obvious that the monkey's favorite was him, which Matheo was jealous of.

He would run off to the woods and yell, “Hmp! I will find myself a tiger friend!”

“it’ll eat you alive before you even get back!”

On the fourth night here, Theon was scratching his back too much.

“Why is it so itchy?” He asked and when I looked over, I gasped, seeing how red it was gaining some wounds now, having blood.

I look around for anything to wipe it with. “what is this?” I am panicking now, feeling pity for Theon...
