I shrugged, “I do not know. He said he was going to just hit something.”

“That’s sad. I thought our squad here was going to have another. Come on, convince Ajax to stay here.”

“I can’t…” I can't leave my mother and Sister at our house alone…

We decided to talk for a while and I learned how they have their husbands now, which was surprising for me since they all look young and just around my age…

Just then, things took a turn and before long, Snow managed to convince me to stay for a bit as she let me borrow her bikini. We all then swam by the beach for a few minutes and then when it got too hot, we decided to pull out of the water when suddenly, I could see a herd of handsome men coming our way.

I recognize them from last time at the last condo’s gym.

They paused to stare in our direction, and I could hear the giggles of my newfound friends here.

I could hear them whistling and beside them was Ajax, his eyes focused on me.

I gulped, and I could see Sereia coming to a tall and handsome man with a tanned body as he kisses her.

“Damn babe. You look hot swimming like that.” I heard his husband, I’m guessing the name was Phoenix, saying and Sereia giggled, touching his abs.

The other girls felt jealous as they came to their husband’s arms, all whispering things to their husbands and I gulped, heating how their husbands reply with their plans of ripping the swimsuit of their wives apart.

I even spotted Snow kissing the tallest and the palest man there. He had a lean but toned body and I’m guessing he was Eion, the owner of this Resort.

I was gawking there silently, and I didn’t notice how Ajax was finally in front of me, “Hi sexy.”

I smiled, “hey.”

“Are we staying here?” I asked, not wanting to go home for a bit.

“It’s up to you. Why? You want to stay?”

I nodded, “But I can't. My mother and-“

“I already informed your sister to tell your mother and uncle. We can stay here for one night, they said.”

I instantly jumped in excitement at that, kissing his cheeks until I realized what I did and everyone was silently staring at me.

“What a young love. I could see myself from them.” Commented Sereia to her husband beside us and her husband nodded.

He then offered his hands, “Oh, I’m Phoenix by the way.”

I was about to accept his hands when Ajax slapped his hand away.

“Don’t touch her, man,” Ajax grumbled.

I caught the glare on Ajax’s face as Phoenix chuckled, finding it amusing. “I see, possessive like me.”

Sereia rolled her eyes, “Stop teasing him, babe. You were much worse last time.”

Phoenix shrugged and the rest of the husbands just states their names to me.

I know Snow and Eion, Sereia and Phoenix, Emma and Dax, Hannah and Leroy, Hira and Wave, and Isleen and Aiden.

Snow then came to us, “By The way, I let her borrow my bikini if that’s alright?”

Ajax nodded, “It’s alright. She can wear whatever she wants. I can fight.”

“Whoa there, you’re not going to fight anybody.” Eion said then turning to me, “I hope you both find our resort comfortable. If you need anything, just call me or my wife here.”

I nodded, “Thank you.”

“Who’s hungry?” Asked Emma and everyone chuckled, agreeing with her.

We then went to the resto where we could have our dinner for the day.

I spotted Ajax grabbing and holding my hand, not wanting me near any of the men.

I rolled my eyes, “They are all married and I can see them loyal to their wives.” I commented.

“I saw them staring at you.”

I chuckled, “yes, because I was a new one in their group. And you were the one who took me here so why are you acting like it’s my fault?”

He clenched his jaw, “Yes, that was my fault I should not have let them see you.”

“We’re not even together, Ajax. Stop claiming me like I’m yours.”

He suddenly paused at that and became silent. The whole dinner, Ajax was quiet and Snow seemed to notice that.

“Are you alright? I notice You are not talking to each other..”

I nodded, “Yes. It was just a misunderstanding.”

She nodded, “Alright, I hope it's alright. I could see Ajax is short-tempered and sometimes hard-headed, which is just like my husband, and luckily, I happen to be an expert at dealing with men like that. So if you need me, just tell me.”

I smiled at her, she’s been so kind to me.

Sereia cleared her throat for everyone, “So, Ajax, now that you have a woman, what about your brother? He must have been jealous.”

Ajax just shrugged and Phoenix, Sereia’s husband raised his eyebrows at her.

“Don’t ask about him,” Phoenix said and instantly stood yo and left her. Sereia sighed and followed after her husband.

Emma sighed, “There it goes again.”

I blinked, wondering what is happening.

Hannah noticed my confusion and leaned to whisper to me, “You know, Theon, Ajax’s brother, was Sereia’s suitor last time. And Phoenix always turns sour whenever he hears his name.”

I nodded, now understanding it.

After dinner, the girls invited me for some wine by the shore while the boys separated from us, saying they’ll play a game inside.

I glanced at Ajax who was still now not talking to me and I just let him. Snow and the girls made sure I was not left out as they made me comfortable.

We only drank for a bit as Emma is pregnant and she instantly retired to bed.

Snow then marched me to my room where I saw Ajax was already lying on the floor. It was already dark but there was only one bed.

I did not know they would offer only one room to us, not that I could complain since Snow was nice enough for us.

I blinked, “What are you doing there?”

“Sleeping.” He simply answered.

I sighed, “You can sleep here and I’ll go there-“

“It’s alright.” He cut my sentence off, his cold voice slicing through the air.

“You didn’t go with the husbands?” I asked.

“No. I’d rather be alone.”

Breathing deeply, I lay on the bed. “Get up there and just sleep beside me here.”

“But you said we’re not together.” He said, “We can’t sleep on the same bed.”

“Is that still on your mind?”

“Yes! Because everything had already happened to us, yet you're still not accepting me.”

I bit my lip, he was pressuring me. I do not want to agree.

“Alright. Fine. Go and sleep there on the cold hard floor.” I snapped and closed my eyes, wanting to sleep now when suddenly, I felt the bed dipping and I could feel him getting near me.

I glanced at him and could see the shadow as how he was facing his back to me.

“There, happy?” He said. I rolled my eyes, feeling like I was talking to a child. “You can sleep now. I won’t touch you.”

I nodded absentmindedly, “Alright, I believe you.”
