My lips were shaking, and my knees rumbled on, feeling as if the sky dropped some water on my face until the whole place was covered in mud. It was raining now, and other people were urging me to take shade but I stayed on the ground, all wet and bawling my eyes out.

He was proud of me all along? I find it very hard to believe but seeing the photobook is enough proof for me.

I did not even get to hear it directly from his voice.

How am I going to live now?

Elyana pulled me in a hug, “It’s alright sis, it’s alright.”

I shook my head and ended u bursting into tears as I hugged her, “I’m sorry, Elyana. I’m sorry. I was not able to be here until his dying breath. I was not even able to take care of him.”

Elyana grabbed both of my cheeks and smiled, “No it is okay, you did your best to provide for us.” She then looked at mother, “Mother stopped gambling. I paused from school because I have to help in taking care of father but we’re alright..”

Elyana then grabbed mother and the three of us embraced into a hug, crying in each other’s arms.

AJAX’S POV

My daisy, my love, My Ellaina is gone.

She ran away. Away from the media, away from anyone else.

And I could not even know where she went. I had my men track her but nothing. To think that I paid for my friend Wave to find her….

And I am feeling agitated about it. I worry that something must have happened to her, especially after that incident with that stupid company firm that dared to step on her reputation.

I did everything to shut down that company. and thank goodness they now disappeared. Vanished like a bubble.

The door suddenly barged open and I was face to face with my brother.

He looked up and down at me and shook his head, and scrunched his nose in disgust, “so this is where I could find you…you stink.”

I rolled my eyes, “If you are here to insult me then leave. I am not in the mood.”

I laid down on my bed and pulled my blankets closer to me.

“I couldn't contact you for days I thought you were kidnapped. Or if not, I would find you in the clubs or bars partying,” He said, “I even asked your friend about you but they said they were too busy with their wives and didn’t even see you.”

Theon sighed and sat on the chair facing me, “Did that model leave you?”

I shook my head, “No, and don’t even try to bring her up.”

“Ah, I see that it is her. So you are serious with her.” He said and I rolled my eyes.

“Of course, I had always been.”

“Well, it appears to me that she doesn’t love you back…” Theon said again and I hissed.

“What do you want? Are you bored enough to just come here and tease me?”

“No, but I know that she’s been ignoring you and that she ran away from you. Lucky for you, I have connections.”

I instanlty sat upright from that and looked at him to see his smirk.

“See? I came here with a purpose, brother. I am willing to help you.”

I scoffed, I know this scheming fool. This older brother of mine never does any favor without any payment. “And in return?”

“Marry. Go and marry her and produce an heir. Father has been pushing me and I still do not want to.” He simply answered and I raised my eyebrows at him in question.

“Are you certain?”

He nodded, “Of course, do I look like I am joking around here?”

Brother asked and I s=instantly stood up,” Alright, lead the way.

Just then, my brother brought me to a bar. I glared at him, knowing he would know better than to make me go here but he was just smirking. Just then, a woman, not as beautiful as Ellaina, came and escorted me to a room.

I frowned, being separated from my brother, and felt a blindfold put on my eyes, followed by a woman’s whisper, “Do you want to forget her?” Her voice was sultry and seductive and I instantly knew this. I instantly pushed the woman away and removed the blindfold to see a naked woman lying on the bed in front of me as she licked her lips at me.

“Ah, such a handsome man but I could see the sadness in your eyes….I know how to please you.” The woman said and instantly went on my thighs, trying to lick it but I pushed her.

Fuck this. And Fuck them.

“Try touching me one more time or your head will be flying off this room.” I threatened and the woman giggled.

“Ah, such a harsh man…I’m scared.”

I instanlty grabbed her neck until she couldn’t breathe and the door instantly opened.

“Ajax! What was that!” I could hear my brother screaming from the door and I instantly dropped the woman and came at him. I grabbed his collar and gritted my teeth, “Bastard! You planned that, did you?”

He nodded, “Yes, and I thought that you should ease up and relax first.”

I chuckled sarcastically, “Relax? Are you saying that I should relax when I’m looking for my woman?”

“You’re in love with her. Too in love with her. Which is bad for a Sillas. If father finds out you’ll be dead-”

“Fuck him and fuck you. Be thankful you're my brother or I have already cut your throat.” I glared at him and spat at him.

Theon pursed his lips, “Ah, when did you grow old to be giving me threats? I liked it better when you were still a child and very obedient.” He then pushed me away and cleared his throat, “But worry not, I am not that bad.”

“Enough of that Theon.” Suddenly, a man came and I could see it was a familiar one. Wearing a suit, it was Mr. Huang, our attorney. He was carrying a briefcase and another man was walking behind him.

“And who is this?” I raised my eyebrows at the newcomer.

“My name’s Anarchy. I know where your woman is.”

He whispered a place and I instantly left the bar. I called my subordinates as I clenched my jaw, “Prepare the plane, I’ll need to go to Davao. Now.”

Ellaina, wait for me.

I’ll save you. Even if it’s death that’s coming, I’ll save you.
