Wow, I did not expect people to be this dumb and even invested in my personal life.

I blinked, no. No. Looking around, I check for anyone. Just from the door, I looked and saw a familiar figure. the familiar actress Leah who once fancied Ajax last time. What is she doing here?

I could see her licking her lips as she held her hand with the director and giggled.

Damn that bitch.

I wanted to stand up and drag her whole fake ass hair all the way and push her to the building right there and then but I know I am bigger than that so I held myself and kept calm.

Just then another video appears with a woman having sex with a man. The woman was strange and look just like me as it was blurry. It had the same brown hair and brown eyes and olive skin.

And with this country, having any sex scandal is a taboo from their conservativeness.

I breathed deeply, trying hard not to crack the screen as Jessica looked at me with a mocking expression. “Is that you too? I guess the supermodel Ellaina is not that pure just like what she pretends to be.”

Damn this cunning bitch. If I had known what would happen, then I should have not just continued going here.

Instead, I looked directly at the camera, “People try to bring down anyone, especially jealous women who seem to not get contented with what they have.” I chuckled, “They thought this would break me, poor them. I am only giving them the chance as I would not let this incident slide. To my supporters, I know you missed me, and I am going back stronger. I won’t let anyone trample over me.”

I said with confidence. “I reject that I have any sugar daddy. I did all my hard work by myself and it was thanks to my manager and to my fans that I reached this point in my carer, I am forever grateful to all of you. And about this claim in the pictures, this is an actor who is trying to pursue me but I would not let any personal details disclose any further.” I explained calmly, “And lastly, from this incident right now, the woman from the video strangely looks like me but I assure you, that is not me.”

I smirked, “This incident proved that no matter how hard a woman tries, there would always be people trying to bring her down. But I am not like any other woman. Keep on coming at me, I promise to return the favor to you. Now to those people who still believe those rumors, I don’t blame you. But for those people who continue supporting me, I promise I won’t fail you all. I will do my best and try harder than ever.”

After saying that, I stood up and made my way to Manager Smith who was being escorted outside by the guards.

“Drop your hands. He can walk on himself.” I ordered the guards and they seem to get scared as they instantly removed their hands from Manager Smith.

Manager Smith looked red and angry as he was shaking, “This bitches. I can’t forgive them for what they did to you. I apologize, my dear, I should have-”

I gave him a gentle smile, “It’s alright, Manager Smith, it isn't your fault. I am happy that I came here, at least I was able to speak the truth.” Manager Smith pursed his lips, breathing deeply as he looked at me with a worried look.

I scrunched my nose in disgust as I looked at all the crew, especially at the director, to the bitch Leah, and the cunt Jessica as they were looking at me, waiting for me to lose control any moment. But I won’t let them be satisfied.

I will handle this with elegance.

I scoffed at them as I held Manager Smith’s hand, “Let’s go, this place smells rotten.”

And we escaped the building, with the usual media. I spotted the same bodyguards from Ajax’s brother, Theon as they helped us from the crowd and almost got caught in the stampede and the horde of rumor-hungry media.

I looked at the entire building. If I could have the match right now, I would gladly burn this entire place and see them scurry off.

Manager Smith managed to drive us away and lose the media on the road. He then escorted me back to my new place and stayed for me for a bit.

He hugged me, “Poor little girl. You can stop acting strong now. Cry on my shoulder.”

He said, his concerned eyes getting soft. “You know how much I see you as my daughter, and seeing you getting hurt and being hurt right in front of me pains me.”

I chuckled, “I’m alright, I expected this would happen.” Lies. Lies. I didn’t expect it would be that bad. “But I handled that correctly, didn’t I?”

Manager Smith snorted, “Tsk, if I were you, I would have hit those bitches heads but you were too elegant for them.”

I shrugged, “Let them. Let them have their way, their days are numbered. I promise to seek my revenge on them.” I then looked at the bruises on Manager Smith’s lip, “But never in my entire life did I see you punching someone like that.”

We both burst into laughter as I pointed out his bruises. Manager Smith was too angry and it took a while for me to calm him down before he left my room.

Once I was left alone, I let the tears in my eyes fall on the ground. I lay on the cold hard floor, curling up in a ball and comforting myself from this day.

What a rough day indeed.

I turned on the television and watched the show. But then, right after y last words on the scene, the whole screen turned black.

I blinked, checking my phone and seeing the news of how the whole company’s stocks turned down, and their channel was closed off.

I smirked, seeing how they got their instant karma but then stopped, wondering who was responsible for it.

I still haven’t made my move yet but then someone beat me to it.

Well, I wouldn’t have to guess as there’s only one person who could do that.

It must have been Ajax.

Him and only him.

I decided to turn on the television and just let things happen but out of curiosity, I check the social media apps to see that Jessica was fired from her job and Leah and the director’s affair was exposed to the whole media.

I could see the people’s posts and the number one trending #WeAreHereForUEllaina

I smiled, seeing how despite everything, my supporters would still love me.

And I owe them this much.

An unknown number was calling me soon after and I didn’t dare answer it, thinking it must have been Ajax. I threw my sim card and replaced it with a new one.

Just then, I could hear a knock on the door. I peeked at the keyhole, expecting that ajax might have already discovered my new place but imagine the whole shock when I saw a different person.

It was Noah, my ex-husband.

I gritted my teeth, hating how he is appearing here at this wrong time.

The door knocked again and I sucked in a deep breath, just avoiding it.

“Ellaina, I know you are there.” His familiar voice said, sending pain into my heart once again.
