Chapter 23: Chapter 23

I couldn't look at or even smile at other guests, while Zachary could barely wipe the smile off his face while talking to them. His hand remained on my back even though he occasionally moved to take the glass on the table. He was drinking with the people, and I don't know if he was drunk or just high.

"Do you want something?" he asked.

I sat up because his head almost nuzzled into my neck when he whispered that. I saw the suppressed smile of the elders in front of us, so I looked down again to hide the blush on my cheeks. I simply moved away, but quickly, he pulled me back to his side. He would just sit me on his lap if necessary.

"Are you drunk?" I hissed, teeth gritting.

I just finished eating. An hour has passed since the guests and the bride and groom danced. I did not participate in the event. Apart from the fact that I was embarrassed to show them because of the scene with Zachary, he also did not let me out of his sight.

Zachary chuckled lowly, and for the fvcking nth time, he buried his face again between my neck and shoulder. I don't know how he can do that comfortably. We were sitting in our respective monoblocks, and there was a wide table in front of us. Despite the distance and our separate seats, he still managed to stick with me.

"I always treat you this way, Atasha, whether I'm intoxicated or not, especially when you're wearing those kinds of clothes," he whispered.

I got goosebumps when I felt every hit of his hot breath on my skin. I swallowed hard and took the glass with only water in front of me. I swallowed quietly, even though I could feel Zachary staring at me.

"You are very beautiful, young lady."

I felt like I was in a fight for life with Death. I catch my breath as I cough non-stop. I can also feel the flow of the water I drank in my nose.

Fvck.

"Are you okay?" Zachary asked while handing me a tissue. I just glared at him.

"Oh? What happened, Sakaryo?" I heard Manong Pidong's curiosity.

Zachary looked at him for a moment and smiled. "My wife was shocked, uncle, because I said after she gave birth I wanted another one,'" he said.

I didn't know whether to punch him in annoyance or hide in shame, especially when the older people he drank with started yelling. Suddenly, I regretted going with Auntie Victoria. Besides the fact that I'm more overdressed than the bride, I can't stand Zachary anymore.

God, save me from this mess.

I was caught up in my senses while taking a breath. Only now, in my entire life, have I felt a layer of shame. I gasped when Zachary quickly picked me up and cradled me on his thigh, wrapped his hand around my stomach, and nuzzled his head into my neck.

"Are you okay? Do you want to go home?" he said hoarsely.

Involuntarily, my heart skipped a beat. I could smell his fragrant breath mixing with the smell of alcohol. He hugged me even tighter, as if he was very used to what he was doing.

I clenched my teeth and tried to calm down. I admit, he really likes this when we're still together, so it's no wonder how he fooled me. Who the hell would doubt this kind of behavior?

"Stop acting like we're a couple, Zachary," I whispered, loud enough for him to hear.

He hummed, and I felt him sniffing my neck. "But we really are, Atasha," he said.

I laughed in disbelief. "If there's a face-to-face fight, you'll win," I teased.

"Baby, I'm still hurt by what you did. I know you love your cat, but I grilled it for you. Don't make me sullen more; I might punish you for that," he whispered, and I felt his hand lightly stroking my waist.

I got goosebumps all over my body. It was as if electricity had passed through my back. I held my breath as I felt his hand go down my thigh.

"What are you doing?" I couldn't help stuttering.

I'm thankful that the table in front of us has a cover and there's no one else next to us because I might sink even deeper into shame. My back straightened when I felt his hand slip inside my dress. I could feel his warm hand caressing my skin.

I don't know how to act. The old people in front of us continued to talk. They occasionally engage Zachary in the conversation, but he just laughs and nods to them. I caught my breath when I felt him reach for my femininity.

"You didn't even wear a cycling short, you naughty woman," I heard him whisper under my ear.

I tried to catch my breath. "Stop, Zachary. We are in front of the elders," I reminded him.

"Ahuh? Then don't make it obvious, baby, that I am touching you down there," he answered, and I could feel him smirking behind my back.

My fist clenched when his finger touched my clitoral area outside the thin fabric that I was wearing.

"Zachar—" I shut my eyes tight and hid my face on his chest when I felt him stroking it slowly, making me lose all my strength. "Please . . ." I said hoarsely. "Don't make me cum here," I barely managed to continue.

I heard him chuckle, then slightly moved his head to whisper again, "Of course. I will only allow you to cum around my d*ck or inside my mouth."

Heat spread like wildfire in my body as he said those words. I was alarmed and firmly held his clothes when his fingers moved the corner of my underwear. In a swift move, he inserted a finger inside my core, causing me to bite my lower lip in an effort to contain a groan.

My hands were shaking, as I didn't know how to hold him. I pressed my face more into his chest, and my lips parted when I felt him slowly go in and out of me. My breath hitched when he added another one. Now I felt full and dripping wet because of what he was doing.

"Zach . . ." I groaned weakly.

He moved his head and gave me a peck on my shoulder. "Don't show your skin to other people again, Atasha. I'm telling you, I'll show them you're mine no matter what," he whispered darkly.

"I-I'm not yours—Hmmmgh!" I hardly muffled a moan when he suddenly penetrated me deeply.

"Do you understand, Atasha?" he said—there's an evident warning in his tone—and I felt him triggering my spot.

Sh*t!

"Answer me, baby. Do you understand?" he asked again, and I almost called all the saints when he pressed my sensitivity.

"Y-Yes," I answered in a hurry and almost cried because I didn't know how to pretend to be in front of us.

Zachary hummed happily and left a kiss on my shoulder before pulling out his finger. I was too weak to move away from him. I didn't follow what else happened; I just saw myself being picked up by him while he was saying goodbye to his colleagues.

"My wife is feeling bad. We'll go ahead first."

I just held his neck and let my head rest on his chest. Zachary started walking; we passed a few people who asked questions too, but he just answered them with the same answer: that I was feeling ill. They immediately let us leave and did not try to stop us anymore.

When we were finally walking down the road to Aunt Victoria's house, I had regained my strength. I asked Zachary to put me down, but he wouldn't let me. He was like a deaf person who didn't hear anything and just kept doing what he wanted.

"Put me down," I said, annoyed, and tried to wriggle out of his grip.

"Atasha," he called threateningly.

I raised my eyes to him and stared at him intently. "Put me down, Zachary."

"Why would I?" He raised an eyebrow at me then gently licked his bottom lip. "I can carry you home; you'll just get tired of walking," he added.

I shuddered and then shook my head. "And the hell do you care about that?"

I was stunned when his eyes fell on me. He looked at me. .  tenderly. I gritted my teeth as my chest heaved for an inexplicable reason. It was only interrupted when his phone rang. I don't know how he got it in his pocket so easily, even though he was carrying me, but I lost all my emotions when I saw the name that appeared on his screen.

It's Eunice.

I quietly averted my eyes and acted indifferent to what I saw. Zachary stared at me for a moment before taking a deep breath and then answering the call. He didn't say anything right away; he let Eunice go first.

"I miss you. I heard her say that because the distance of my head from Zachary's ear was not that far.

I felt him grip his phone tightly. He turned to me for a moment, but I continued to act unconcerned.

"Are you going to get the child?" I heard Eunice continue to secretly clench her fist.

So, I was right. They've been talking and planning about it. So maybe it's just like this if Zachary pretends to be in front of me.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, huh?

If earlier he didn't want to put me down, now he willingly lets me go. I put it in the back of my mind and took the lead in walking. They both talked. I couldn't really understand them because, apart from the distance between us due to my haste, Zachary's answers to Eunice were also limited. Obviously, being careful with the spoken word.

"Okay. I'll just take a shower to get sober."

I raised my eyebrows when I heard what Zachary said. I don't know if I understood it correctly, but his previous line pointed out that he was going to Eunice tonight. I clenched my fist and shook my head in disbelief, laughing.

I was shocked when I felt a touch on my arm. I slowly turned around and saw Zachary frowning. There was also a hint of annoyance on his face as his jaw tightened.

"Why are you walking so fast?" he asked, irritated.

It looks like they are done talking because his cellphone is back in his pocket.

"Excuse me? I wasn't curious about your conversation with your ex-fiance." I rolled my eyes. "Oh, wait. Am I right? Maybe you still plan to get married after you take my child." I laughed blankly then looked at him sharply.

"I don't get what you're talking about, Atas—"

He was cut off by my laugh. "Yeah, yeah. Play harder, Zachary," I mocked.

What I said seemed to irritate him. He swiftly closed the gap between us and towered over me. A dark smirk appeared on his lips.

"Do you really want me to play harder, Atasha?" Zachary caressed my waist sensually. "You might..." His gaze went down to my belly. Bear a twin if I do."

I was stunned and blinked a few times while processing what he said. "W-What?" I uttered unconsciously.

Once again, his lips curled into a smirk, and the next thing that happened stunned me. Zachary kissed me. Not just a simple kiss, but a torrid one.

I was speechless for a few seconds, but when I finally realized it, I sneaked up and put my hand around his neck. Now he stopped kissing and stared into my eyes, analyzing.

"Well, I wonder how it feels to be tongue-fvcked with a piercing," I mumbled, a ghostly smirk plastered on my lips.

Zachary's eyes darkened quickly after what I said. I could clearly see the excessive spread of lust in his eyes. His breathing also got heavier, and his grip on my waist got tighter.

Let's see who you're going to stay with, Zachary.

I almost cheered when he picked me up and kissed me again. I momentarily lost myself in reality for a second as I fought back the intensity he was giving me. When I finally came to my senses, I found myself in our room, moaning as Zachary was worshipping me down there. I could hear his phone ring, but it seemed like neither of us heard it.

Well, sorry, not sorry, my dear sister. Your lover is not going home tonight.
