Chapter 46: Chapter 46

Sierra pov.

I stood there, watching as William approached us. The sight of him made my blood boil. Just as I was about to say something, he pushed me away and struck Henry across the face.

"I should have known you would come back," he yelled, continuing to hit Henry.

My anger boiled over, and I walked up to William. I pulled him away from Henry and landed a heavy slap across his face. He looked at me in shock, but I wasn't scared. I was tired of everything he had done to me, and I just couldn't take it anymore.

"Why do you keep following me?" I yelled into his face as I pushed him back. "Haven't you had enough? What more do you want from me? You have a wife now, why can't you just go to her and leave me alone?"

The sound of his fists hitting Henry's face echoed off the walls, and I could feel the vibrations in my chest. It was as if every hit was a hammer blow to my soul.

I was so angry about him following me and monitoring my every move that I couldn't take it anymore. I was furious, and I knew I needed to stand up to him.

Not long after I spoke, I felt a sharp sting on my cheek. William had slapped me. The pain was intense, and tears began to well up in my eyes.

"I took you out of the palace because I could no longer bear to see you as a slave," William yelled, his voice filled with frustration. "I wanted you to stay with your mother, where you would be happy, but I guess I was wrong. If I had known, I would have caged you even more."

Just hearing him yell made me feel broken inside. I couldn't believe that he would say those things to me. But before I could respond, Henry stood up and pushed William, sending him crashing to the ground. Blood poured from his nose as he lay there, stunned.

"She did all she could to save you, but all you did was make her into your puppet," Henry yelled, his voice filled with anger.

I was shocked by what had just happened, but deep down, I knew that Henry was right. William had controlled me for far too long, and I was ready to break free.

I walked over to William, attempting to pick him up, but he pushed me away. Just as I was about to fall, Henry caught me.

"Is that why you've been fucking my mate as you please because she saved us?" William yelled, looking at Henry. I was shocked to hear him say that word.

Just as Henry was about to speak, I stopped him and walked over to William. With anger in my voice, I slapped him.

"You should be ashamed of yourself. I still can't believe that you would say something like this. How could you?"

Tears streamed down my face, and I felt as though my eyes were about to fall out. William held me tightly as he drew himself closer to my face.

"Is that the reason why you kissed him just now?"

I didn't know what to say, but just as I was about to speak, the door of my house opened, and my mom walked out, seeing William and me in that position.

I could see the anger in my mom's face as she walked over to William and pushed him away.

"Why are you here?" My mom yelled as she looked at William. "Don't ever come close to my daughter anymore." My mother was furious, and I could see how she looked at William.

William didn't care to move as he chuckled and looked at my mother.

"You know I'm the Alpha, right?" William said, looking at my mom, who didn't even flinch at his words.

As my mom was about to walk closer to him, I pulled her back, but she was too strong. At that moment, my mother's eyes turned yellow as she looked at William.

"My daughter is my pride and not a toy to be played with. If anything happens to my daughter, you will know the reason why I am called her mother."

The scene was chaotic, and the air was thick with tension. I could feel the heat emanating from my mother's body as she stood up to William. The smell of anger was palpable, and the sound of their voices echoed through the neighborhood.

It was the first time I had ever seen my mom this angry before. Her eyes blazed with fury, and I could tell she was serious about what she was saying. I had never seen her like this, and I didn't know how to react.

William stood before us, looking awkward and uncomfortable. After a lot of stammering, he finally turned to face my mom.

"Before the sun rises, I want to see her in my castle," he said, his voice low and intense. "And if she fails to do so, you will receive her punishment instead."

My mother's response was swift and fierce. "She isn't going anywhere," she yelled after him as he walked away.

When he was gone, my mom turned to me and Henry. "I'm so sorry, son, for what just happened. Please forgive us."

Henry walked over to her and lifted her up from her pleading state. He looked at her with concern in his eyes. "It's nothing, Ma. I just hope you'll be able to take good care of Sierra."

I looked at him, and we locked eyes for a moment. "I need to start going," he said, turning away from us. "I hope I see you again."

As he walked away, I turned to my mom with tears already streaming down my face. "I'm so sorry, Mom," I said to her.

She wiped away my tears and pulled me closer to her. "Don't cry, dear. You're safe with me."

I pulled away from her, looking at her with a mixture of fear and uncertainty. "You're right, Mom. I'm safe with you. But will it last long? You heard what he said. I don't want..."

She shushed me, holding my hands tightly. "I'm your mother, and I will not let anything happen to you, okay?"

Her words filled me with hope, but I didn't want her to suffer because of me. "I'm sorry, Mom," I said, pulling my hands away from her. "I don't want you to suffer because of me."

Before she could say anything else, I turned and walked away, heading back to William's castle. I could hear her calling out to me, but I didn't stop. I just couldn't bear to see my mom in pain because of me.
