Chapter 20: Chapter 20
Sierra pov.
It had been one month since the mysterious incident that left everyone stunned. Now, one by one, they all came to ask for forgiveness from the Alpha.
I got to know his name was William and I found myself liking it. Alex and Nora still couldn't believe the shock and prayed for a mate like him.
Being with my mate was the best thing that ever happened to me. I smiled, feeling safe and relaxed.
Every time I looked into his eyes, all I saw was the beast staring back at me. All the creatures had finally turned back into their human forms and the fox's name was Henry. It turns out he was the Alpha Beta.
I stood in my room, moving around aimlessly, not knowing what to say. Today was my wedding day, the day I would be crowned the Luna and become the Alpha's wife.
I felt so happy that I couldn't believe it was happening so fast. I looked at myself in the mirror, admiring my beauty. I didn't think the beast would be able to take his eyes off me.
The door opened and I saw my mother walk in with a smile on her face, followed by Alex and Nora.
"Mom!" I yelled, as I ran towards her. She held out her hands, and as I reached her, she pulled me closer to her.
"You look beautiful, my child," my mom said to me, as she pulled me away from her, staring at me.
"Thanks, Mom," I said, as I stared into her eyes.
"We are so sorry, Sierra. We never knew he was actually, you know, a real Alpha. We just believed the words we heard."
When Alex said that, I walked over to both of them, put my arms around them, and hugged them so tight. Why would I be mad at them? They are the best thing that ever happened to me.
"It's okay, guys. It's not your fault. I'm just glad that everything turned out well for both of you as well."
They nodded as they hugged me once more.
"Are you ready?" my mom said to me as I nodded and took her hand in mine as we walked out of the room.
The place was filled with people, and I could see my husband standing by the altar side, waiting for me. I smiled as I felt shy, just seeing how everyone looked at me. Seeing William, I felt as if I just wanted to run towards him and kiss him.
As my mom brought me closer to him, he stared at me and whispered, "You look beautiful." I smiled and stared at him, moving closer to him, and whispered, "And you look more handsome."
After the place had become silent, the Moonhowler pastor walked towards us, and Henry stood by the side, close to William.
The air was filled with the fragrance of freshly picked flowers, and the sight of the colorful decorations made my heart skip a beat. The sound of soft music played in the background, making everything seem like a dream.
As I walked down the alter, my feet touched the soft carpet beneath them, and I felt like I was floating on a cloud. The whole scene was like a beautiful painting that came to life, and I was the centerpiece.
It was as if I had found my way home, and everything had fallen into place. The love that surrounded me was a warm blanket on a chilly day, and I was grateful for every moment of it.
I was the bride, and William was my groom, but in that moment, we were more than that. We were the embodiment of love, and the union of two hearts that would beat as one.
"It's an honor, or rather, a horn for our Moonhowerl pack to stand here today and witness this great day. Long ago, we lived in fear, but we never knew that we were actually making a peaceful world. Our long-lost Alpha is now back, and all thanks to this lovely lady standing close to him, making all of this happen. Today is a day for us to join them and also make her the rightful Luna of this pack."
I could hear cheers as the pastor said that, and I smiled down shyly. Williams whispered to me, "See, everyone loves you."
The pastor continued, "Alpha Williams of the Moonhowler pack, do you accept this lovely lady to be your Luna? And do you promise to always stand by her, never break her heart, and love her till death do you both part?"
I looked at William as he smiled and moved closer to me. He took my hand in his, and I felt a comforting warmth spread through me.
"There is nothing in this world I would want more than to love the person who made all of this possible. So, yes, I accept," he replied.
I smiled just seeing him say that, and I felt like crying tears of joy.
"Sierra Lee of the Moonhowler pack, do you accept to be the Luna of this handsome Alpha? And do you promise to always stand by him, never break his heart, and love him till death do you both part?"
I nodded, not wanting to think about it anymore than a second. I had loved him from the start, why would I not love him now?
"Yes, I do," I said, smiling as my face remained fixed on William.
"Well then, you both should exchange rings," the pastor spoke.
William lifted my hand, and I looked at him with a smile. I pulled my hand closer to him, not wanting to wait any longer. As he slipped the ring on my finger, it felt like a warm embrace, a symbol of our unbreakable bond. Today was truly a day to be cherished, a day where fear was left behind, and love was all that mattered.
He placed the ring on my hand, and I reciprocate the gesture. His smile was enough to make me fall in love with him all over again.
"Now you both may kiss," said the pastor.
Without hesitation, I gazed up at him and pressed my lips against his. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him. Our kiss was electric; it was as if we were the only ones in the room.
I didn't want to stop, and I didn't want it to end.
As we kissed, I could hear the cheers and applause of everyone around us. After about a minute, he pulled away and whispered in my ear, "Your lips taste delicious. I can't wait to have you tonight."
I laughed, admiring his playful and lustful demeanor. I leaned in closer and whispered, "And I can't wait to have my Mate in bed with me."
We turned to face the pastor once again, who was holding a crown in his hands. He instructed me to kneel down, and I complied.
"Now that you have been bound with the Alpha, you have been chosen to be our Luna. Henceforth, you shall be known as Luna Sierra Lee," declared the pastor.
With those words, the crown was placed on my head, and the cheers grew even louder. Tears of joy streamed down my face as I embraced my new role. The scent of roses filled the air, and the crown felt like a weight of responsibility and honor upon my head.
