Chapter 610: Chapter 610

Captain Doofus, Captain Death, and Captain Crow really were angry. It was one thing for Six-Path Flower to be stronger than them, but Baby Cloud and #18 were nothing when they first joined the team. But it looked like having the right species simply gave too big an advantage.

The three of them could only double down and work even harder. Dark Crow sacrificed more of its eyes to create clones, hoping to raise its own power through the legion. Sudden Death King bulked up its defense by letting Captain Doofus use it as a sword training dummy. The method allowed the two of them to grow simultaneously.

None of them was content with falling behind. Captain Doofus naturally had an aggressive personality, while Dark Crow was ambitious. Sudden Death King grew out of fear of suddenly dying in battle. It was the designated tank for the team, so bolstering its defenses was a matter of life and death.

During team training, the worst that could happen was getting pummeled, but once they faced off against the Divine Dragons, the gloves would be coming off. They couldn’t afford to be even slightly careless.

With the latter members of the team reaching Primary Divine first, it actually benefited the founding members. The saying, "strength begets strength,” really held true.

Captain Doofus had four swords: elemental, Undead, plant, and mechanical. Three of them corresponded to the Elemental, Plant, and Mechanical Primary Divines that were now on the team. With the proper resources, reaching Superior Legendary was a given. As for the Undead sword, Lu Ran possessed the Stone of the Other Shore, so it wouldn’t fall behind either.

They would also soon go hunt down the Chaos Dragon God for Sudden Death King. With a team full of Primary Divines, Sudden Death King could just sit back and reap the rewards. Furthermore, #18 could help improve its Star Dragon Shield Spirit and temper it with some electroshock therapy.

Finally, Dark Crow could improve by developing its legion. The only thing slowing it down was its recovery time. With Six-Path Flower and #18 standing by, it was now a non-issue.

The presence of Primary Divines would greatly accelerate the team’s growth. Life was always easier if there was someone to carry you to the finish line.

"Who knows about your breakthrough to the Primary Divine rank?" Lu Ran asked.

"Nobody should. I completed my breakthrough in outer space. I expanded my domain over the entire planet to prevent anyone from noticing."

"Amazing!" Lu Ran nodded with satisfaction. "The Torch Dragon also seemed to cover the entire world with its domain. If its domain is combined with yours and Captain Doofus’, it would be technically possible to treat the planet as a sword. The power would be unimaginable...

"By the way, where's the planet core?"

"It won’t be that easy. If you don't believe me, then give it a try."

Six-Path Flower produced the Blue Planet Core that had been fused with the Imperial Seal.

The Imperial Seal had now reached the Divine grade. It would probably be more appropriate to call it the Planetary Seal rather than the Imperial Seal at this point, as it now symbolized the power to rule over the entire planet.

Lu Ran held the seal and took a deep breath, sensing its increased power. Not only did it increase cultivation speed, but it also had a positive effect on his luck and physique. Even if the Evil God were to curse him with everything it had right now, he would be able to resist without any help from his familiars.

"I believe in Captain Doofus. It’ll be fine." Lu Ran smiled.

With that, he tossed the Imperial Seal to Captain Doofus. Captain Doofus quickly grabbed it and activated its Limitless Sword Domain. Its eyes gleamed as it attempted to transform the Divine-grade item into a sword and take the sword’s power for itself.

If it could acquire a Divine sword, then even if its combat power couldn’t rise to the level of a Primary Divine, it wouldn’t be far behind.

Captain Doofus silently held the Imperial Seal in its mouth for a long time inside the Domain, but nothing happened. No matter how it tried looking at it, it couldn’t imagine the seal as a sword.

"You bum! I just said that I believe in you. Can you not make me look bad? C’mon, let’s give Six-Path Flower a surprise!"

"Aww!" Captain Doofus raged and did its best to rise to the challenge.

"See?" Six-Path Flower already predicted this. "Its ability is outrageous and could imagine anything as a sword to make its buff apply. The only thing holding it back is its age. The skill isn’t something that could be mastered so easily. It has only scratched the surface at best.

"The same could be said for all of them. They still need time to perfect their special abilities. Once I've perfected my own abilities, I will cast Infinite Reincarnation on them to provide them with the time they need."

Baby Cloud and #18 were one thing, as one of them received the primary inheritance of the Elemental Era, while the other obtained the inheritance of the Mechanical Era. If Captain Doofus could apply its skill to the Imperial Seal and treat it as a sword, then it would have crushed Six-Path Flower’s spirit.

"Okay," Lu Ran agreed." Maybe Limitless City will have something to help increase skill proficiency."

"Keep dreaming." Six-Path Flower dismissed his conjecture.

"Since these two have become Primary Divines, we just need to pick a day with the right weather to hold a funeral for the Chaos Dragon God and then go kill it."

Six-Path Flower was actually the one most eager to set out on their next mission. Updates are released by novel fire.net

Manager Ying stopped by for a visit shortly after Lu Ran’s return. It had a good understanding of his schedule and was able to accurately predict his arrival back on Blue Planet.

"Huh? Did I guess wrong? You didn’t get punished by Limitless City?" Manager Ying was surprised to see Lu Ran still in one piece. "I guess I shouldn't expect any less from the top dog in Limitless City."

"Quit joking around. Take a closer look," Lu Ran prompted.

Manager Ying did as Lu Ran said, but still couldn’t notice anything different about him. After a moment's thought, it couldn't couldn’t help but look down between his legs.

"What the hell are you looking at? My penalty this time is a bit unique. I got banned from ascension realms. I completed my ascension mission the moment I stepped into the realm. I became a Mythical beastmaster by accident."

Manager Ying was stunned.

"You really are the favorite child."

"It's not that big of a deal, though," Lu Ran said. "I can just issue new contract cards to create more beastmasters and then designate their ascension realms. I can have them farm resources on my behalf.

"As the Beastmaster King, I will naturally need subjects working for me. This must be Limitless City guiding me onto the right path!

"Anyway, the most urgent task right now is taking down the Chaos Dragon God. I don't want to make the Divine Tree wait for too long. Suppressing the Chaos Dragon God all this time must be exhausting.

"You’re very mindful of your elders," Manager Ying commented. "Hmm? Wait, did Six-Path Flower reach the Primary Divine rank?"

Lu Ran definitely wouldn't dare go kill the Chaos Dragon God if Six-Path Flower hadn’t ranked up.

Lu Ran nodded and smiled.

"But that’s not all."

On that cue, he summoned Baby Cloud and #18 once more.

Baby Cloud was overjoyed to see Manager Ying again. It created a row of cloud-letters that read, “I’m a Primary Divine!”

Manager Ying's mind went blank, and an imaginary question mark appeared over its head as it stared at the words in front of it. Baby Cloud erased the first sentence and put up a few new lines of text.

“Baby was raised by cat, but Baby now better than cat. I take you flying next time! Up, up, up!"

What the hell? Didn't Baby Cloud just break through recently? How is it a Primary Divine already?

At this point, #18 decided to speak.

“Manager Ying, I'm also a Primary Divine. With my current abilities, I no longer need your blood anymore!"

Manager Ying turned to #18.

It was a good thing that it wasn’t a walking blood bank anymore, but it kind of felt abandoned.

"That's right. Do you regret not becoming my familiar? The Black Tortoise just joined the team, and it’s already an Intermediate Legendary, meaning that it outranks you."

Manager Ying teleported away, leaving Lu Ran standing there alone.

Lu Ran unsummoned Baby Cloud and #18 to recuperate. He was waiting for Six-Path Flower to finish a few things on Blue Planet. Now that it had become the master of the planet, it wanted to harvest some virtuous and evil energy from the living beings on the planet before setting off.

Although the Chaos Dragon God had just recently recovered from its injuries and awakened, Six-Path Flower wanted to meet it at full strength. Lu Ran also had his own plans on how to squeeze some extra crystal coins out of the Federation.

One could never have too many Epic amplification cards.

Lu Ran arrived in the Stellar Moon world without notifying anyone. He stood in the air alongside his Primary Divine familiars. The four of them were able to travel unrestrained by spacetime and quickly arrived at a place overrun by trees that tied down a powerful dragon.

The dragon constantly emanated a destructive and chaotic aura that eroded away at the trees. The trees fought back by rapidly regenerating. They wore away at each other’s strength, both hoping to be the last one standing.

The Divine Tree did its best to prevent the Chaos Dragon God’s aura from leaking while the dragon god unleashed its aura at maximum output to weaken the Divine Tree’s restraints.

Amidst the silent struggle, the Divine Tree heard a familiar voice.

"Thank you for your hard work."

Hearing the Six-Path Flower, the Divine Tree was momentarily dazed but became shocked when it finally realized something.

"You’ve reached the Primary Divine rank!"

Despite its surprise, it soon realized that this day was bound to come eventually. The Six-Path Flower and Void Grass’s talents weren’t much lower than its own. It was just that Six-Path Flower specialized in support, so it was relatively weaker in combat. That was perhaps the main reason why it previously perished.

The Void Grass’s talent for combat surpassed even its own, which made it the Chaos Dragon God's primary target. It faced the brunt of the dragon god’s attacks.

The Divine Tree had always believed that its ability to survive to the end and attain godhood was largely a matter of luck.

Even though it believed that the Six-Path Flower would eventually reach Primary Divine, it never expected that day to arrive after just a few months. It happened so fast!

"We are here to slay the Chaos Dragon God. We might accidentally injure you since the two of you are entangled."

“That’s fine. As long as you don’t kill me.”

"We’re just messing with you. You can release the Dragon God and step aside. You’re already in a poor condition. If we accidentally injured you, then you may have to lie dormant for tens of thousands of years."

Six-Path Flower didn’t want to get stuck playing doctor for the Divine Tree after the fight. In fact, if the Divine Tree came out of the fight in decent shape, then they could even recruit it.

The Divine Tree still had its reservations.

"Trust me," Six-Path Flower assured it

It believed that the best approach was to attack the Chaos Dragon god while it was still tied down, but since Six-Path Flower looked so confident, it decided to have faith.

As a long-time comrade, the Divine Tree was familiar with the Six-Path Flower’s personality. In a situation , Six-Path Flower wouldn’t go out of its way to protect the Divine Tree if it would cost them their chance of killing the Chaos Dragon God.

Six-Path Flower would sink the whole ship for the sake of victory if it came down to it. It might be sad after the battle, but it definitely wouldn’t be regretful.

For Six-Path Flower to ask the Divine Tree for its trust at a time , the Divine Tree was willing to give it.

Soon, the Chaos Dragon God's wild laughter rang out.

"Divine Tree, it looks like your power is waning! You must have reached your limit! I will annihilate all plant life once I'm out of here!”

The Chaos Dragon God intensified its resistance. The clashing powers tore apart the surroundings. The entire Stellar Moon World shook from the devastation.

The ground quaked, the sea churned, and clouds scattered. The once peaceful Stellar Moon World was suddenly plunged into chaos. Even the animals and Legendary creatures were overcome with a sense of unease.

"Something has happened to Lord Divine Tree."

Peanut was in the middle of training with the Flower God when the tremors began. She assumed that the Divine Tree was starting to lose control of the situation. The situation was alarming as it was devolving much faster than expected.

On the Federation’s side, Ji Yuan had been stuck at home due to some health concerns when he sensed two auras that surpassed the Evil God’s. He couldn’t help but turn toward the horizon. As screens around him came to life, Mechanical Leader appeared on one of them to update him on the situation.
