He could have Baby Cloud take the Ice Goddess’ place to play support for Captain Doofus. Maybe then Captain Doofus would be able to cover the entire world with its Elemental Sword Domain. A Nine-Attribute kin was a crucial component for this strategy, as it would further enhance Captain Doofus’s ability to control natural elements.

"Squirrel God, are you there?" Lu Ran's voice rang out and woke up the Squirrel God, who was peacefully napping in the rainforest.

Squirrel God appeared in front of Lu Ran with a surprised look on its face.

"Don’t ascension realms last for an entire month? Why are you back so soon?"

"Limitless City experienced an error," Lu Ran casually responded. "I actually have something very important to discuss. I'd like to convene a meeting of the Divine Dragon kin. Can you help me gather everyone?"

"Huh? Wait, did you find some clues about our masters in the ascension realm?"

"Yes." Lu Ran nodded.

Squirrel God was shocked.

"I'll get on it right away."

"I'll come with you. I happen to have some business in Stellar Moon," Lu Ran said after thinking for a moment.

Lu Ran and Squirrel God soon arrived in the Stellar Moon World. Squirrel God left to gather the Divine Dragon kin while Lu Ran called Ice Emperor.

“I have your sister. How much money do you have saved up?"

"What?" Ice Emperor didn’t know how to react at first when he finally realized what was happening.

"Are you saying that... Where are you? I'll head over right away."

While Ice Emperor rushed over as fast as he could, Squirrel God had already completed its task. Even Manager Ying, who had been on Blue Planet, had been dragged over.

"Why did you gather us?"

Everyone was somewhat confused by why Lu Ran appeared so soon, but they were more interested in news of the four Divine Dragons.

With everyone present, Lu Ran told them about the Divine Dragons’ appearance in the Elemental Era, which had caused an error with the ascension realm.

Lu Ran momentarily had an awkward expression, but pushed through.

"The Divine Dragons have appointed me as the Divine Dragon Envoy and tasked me with the mission of uncovering the secrets of Limitless City. I have to gain even greater authority, ideally becoming its ruler. They have also ordered you all to assist me in my mission."

The Divine Dragon kins were stunned.

Manager Ying had a strange look on its face. It sounded reasonable, but something about it was fishy. If any other messengers had said this, it would’ve believed about 99% of it. However, since it was Lu Ran, it only believed about 9% of what he said.

"King Lu taking on the position is only natural! Currently, he is the one closest to uncovering the truth behind Limitless City!" Dark Crow declared as it suddenly appeared. "The Divine Dragons must have their own reasons for appointing him. They are divine beings that can control time and space."

"That’s right." Lu Ran then took out the Stone of the Other Shore. “Lord Death Dragon also gave me the authority to activate the Stone of the Other Shore. It wants me to use its powers to further develop so that I am in a better position to take over Limitless City.”

"You can use the Stone of the Other Shore?” the Squirrel God asked in surprise. "That means you should be telling the truth."

"Lu Ran is indeed the most suitable candidate," the Divine Deer agreed after contemplating it for a moment.

Then, one after another, the other kin nodded in agreement. The only thing that was discomforting was the fact that Lu Ran started out as the Divine Deer’s messenger, but was now technically their boss.

"How can we help? Do you have any plans on how you’ll uncover Limitless City’s secrets?" asked the Underworld God. "It’s not something you can take lightly. It can even manifest a copy of the Divine Dragons."

"Well, there is a ‘final secret realm’ in Limitless City. The bosses are set as the four Divine Dragons, but their ranks are restricted to Primary Divine. The ultimate truth can only be uncovered by clearing it. I think it’s the key to gaining higher privileges.

"This makes challenging it inevitable. For me to have a chance of winning, I need to outnumber them with Primary Divine familiars!"

Everyone gawked at the revelation.

What the hell? Beat the Divine Dragons? You want us to help you get multiple Primary Divine familiars?

"I know it's a big ask, but this is the only way for me to complete my mission. Six-Path Flower should be the first in line to reach Primary Divine.
