Chapter 559: Chapter 559

The events here were too bizarre. An unknown powerhouse among humans, an unknown beast god, an unknown plant god... Regardless, Lu Ran’s group posed a threat to the elemental gods’ rule.

On a species level, they endangered the elemental gods’ dominance over the world. The Fire God, the Rock God, the Grass God, the Wind God... one by one, the gods descended upon the Ice Nation.

“Are you guys here to laugh at my misfortune?” The Ice Goddess’s voice was cold as she addressed the gathering gods.

The Water Goddess smiled. “Old friend, don’t be so cold. We’re here to help. Where are those intruders? Did they escape? Which direction?”

The Ice Goddess had no answer. Initially, she could sense their presence, but at some point, she’d lost track of Lu Ran’s group entirely.

“I detected nothing unusual on my way here.”

The elemental gods all reported no traces of Lu Ran, baffled by the complete absence of his aura.

The Ice Goddess’s heart had already frozen over. Even if Lu Ran and Hel could flee, she had a plan. Her gaze fell upon the resistance forces within the Ice Nation.

“If you want to help, follow my lead. That Mythical elementalist traveled across nations. Spread the word and assist me. If they don’t show themselves willingly, we’ll slaughter everyone they’ve ever interacted with! Given human nature, they’ll have to appear.”

“Agreed!” The elemental gods had no objections.

Those close to Hel were mostly unfaithful anyway, useless for providing pure faith energy. Sacrificing them was no loss.

Then, the world trembled. A wisp of wind, a blade of grass, a pebble, a raindrop, and even the flames in a commoner’s cooking fire, transformed into wanted posters at the elemental gods’ command. In an instant, even children playing in remote villages learned of the birth of an ultimate evil.

“Former Ice Nation Princess Hel and the self-proclaimed Mythical necromancer. Wherever you hide, if you do not surrender, all associated with you shall face divine punishment!”

Instantly, the entire world knew two humans had angered the gods ruling their world. Panic spread, even among those unrelated.

Meanwhile, Lu Ran, who was still receiving outside updates, smirked at the elemental gods’ futile attempts to force him out.

Like I care! Want me to help you slaughter the resistance? It will be perfect for boosting my evil energy.

“Don’t let Hel or the Ice Emperor know about this.” Lu Ran turned, his black robes fluttering as Dark Crow materialized behind him.

“Mm. The stage is yours now.”

Dark Crow perched gracefully on his shoulder, donning a black top hat with a War Token hanging from its neck. “Captain Doofus and Six-Path Flower were just the warm-up. The real chaos begins with me!”

The earlier battle had been the pinnacle of coordination between Captain Doofus and Six-Path Flower. Those two were undoubtedly the strongest on Lu Ran’s roster. Six-Path Flower’s godly domain, spanning the entire nation, combined with Captain Doofus’ negative IQ-maxed Limitless Sword Domain.

It was a combo that converted all elemental life in the Ice Nation into ice swords. It was devastating. Even a Superior Legendary like the Ice Goddess needed time to recover after taking a hit.

However, such a combined domain drained Six-Path Flower and Captain Doofus significantly. It was mainly because they had forcibly reached level 100 by using the Time Fruits, not through their own power, making the combo unstable.

Otherwise, Lu Ran would’ve loved to test if they could take down the Ice Goddess. Of course, that was just a thought. A prolonged battle would inevitably draw the attention of the other elemental gods.

“I had to beg Six-Path Flower to cooperate with Captain Doofus. Now that we’ve attracted divine attention, it’s best not to deploy them directly.”

In the Hell Domain, Captain Doofus and Six-Path Flower rested temporarily. As Lu Ran and Dark Crow walked, they looked ahead. In the darkness, a flock of red-eyed crows perched silently on the branches of a hellish tree.

Their feathers were black as the abyss, yet shimmering with eerie golden runes, while their glowing red eyes burned like hellfire in the dark. Over a hundred War Soldiers, created by Dark Crow, watched intently.

Suddenly, one crow took flight, followed by a second, and a third. They soared as their black feathers fluttered in the frigid wind, as if performing a solemn, arcane ritual in the darkness.

“Come, my minions! Now begins... the time of war!”

As Dark Crow commanded, Lu Ran’s robes billowed in the gust from their wings. He slowly raised a hand, his body enhanced by Epic amplification cards, and activated his Soul Amplification beastmaster skill.

A storm of soul energy whirled violently in the void, ultimately absorbed by Dark Crow, who then split into over a hundred soul clones, possessing each War Soldier. In this hidden dimension, unnoticed by any elemental god, Dark Crow’s species power surged to Intermediate Legendary as it entered its Legion Form.

“A bit weaker than last time, but it’ll do.” Lu Ran’s voice echoed through hell.

An eerie Evil God’s Eye had already traversed space-time, locking onto a subordinate of the Water Goddess. It was a Low Legendary water elemental god.

With the words “Freeze to death,” the water god instantly turned into an ice sculpture, then shattered into icy fragments, dying silently and inexplicably. Only its elemental core vanished, leaving behind a fading red death rune.

In Hell, Lu Ran stood above the crow legion, holding an Intermediate-Legendary ice elemental core. Using the energy from the first ice core as a sacrificial catalyst, combined with Dark Crow’s Spiritual Speech Curse, they could maximize efficiency, hunting elemental gods across nations.

Thanks to Dark Crow’s unique attributes, even if the elemental rulers noticed, they could remain safely hidden in Hell, at most losing an eye or two. This was an open assassination.

Although Dark Crow and Lu Ran couldn’t swiftly eliminate Intermediate-Legendary gods, Low Legendary ones were fair game. And Lu Ran hadn’t even gone all out yet. Against tougher Low Legendary gods, he had a backup plan.

Through Super Beast Mimicry, he’d learned Six-Path Flower’s mastery of good and evil energy. The accumulated good energy from slaying the three beast gods, and the evil energy from selling underage familiar cubs, separating them from their parents, could amplify his Soul Amplification beastmaster skill.

These reserves of good and evil were his trump cards for aiding Dark Crow’s hunt. Even though it was limited, any gains would be worth it.

Shortly after the eight elemental rulers issued the worldwide wanted order, another Evil God’s Eye appeared. This one was weak as it was meant only for communication. Yet its emergence put the rulers on high alert.

Before they could speak, divine runes materialized around the eye. “By order of the Mythical necromancer, let’s see who kills faster.”

The eyeball exploded into black mist, leaving the elemental gods grim-faced.

The Water Goddess turned to the Ice Goddess. “Are you sure this is fine? This Mythical necromancer doesn’t seem friendly with Hel.”

The Ice Goddess remained silent. Suddenly, water vapor condensed into a screen, revealing a scene that made the Water Goddess pale.

“A Low Legendary god in my nation has fallen.” The rıghtful source is 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭•𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦•𝘯𝘦𝘵

As she spoke, a thunderclap echoed, and the Thunder God’s expression twisted. The Water Nation was just the beginning. In the Thunder Nation, a lightning-formed divine flower perished. In the Fire Nation, a flaming avian god died. In the Rock Nation, a mobile mountain god crumbled.

Even the Light and Dark rulers’ nations were infiltrated. In the Light Nation, a radiant sphere suddenly dimmed, replaced by a sinister blood-red eye. The city plunged into panic, nuns collapsing in despair as they stared at the sky.

Soon, elemental anomalies erupted across the skies, the world’s ambient energy reporting the deaths to the rulers. One... two... three... The slaughter mirrored the Ice Nation’s earlier massacre.

The Ice Nation wasn’t the only one in turmoil. The fury of the other elemental gods shook the entire continent. Even the Light and Dark rulers, who hadn’t paid much attention to the Ice Nation’s affairs, emerged upon their subordinates’ mysterious deaths. The world descended into further chaos.

And just as the elemental gods manifested their might, Lu Ran, from the shadows, crafted his own divine miracle. A voice echoed across the elemental continent. Every living being looked up to see the words in the sky, their legs giving way as they collapsed in terror, sensing an impending world-shattering war.

“Come, kill me! I am the Mythical necromancer, Lu Ran.”
