Chapter 33: Chapter 33

To all Initiates, Aspirants, and wayward Observers of the Order of the Twelvefold Flames, The rıghtful source is NoveI[F]ire.net

It is with begrudging pride and no small measure of academic disbelief that I announce this humble chronicle has clawed its way into the exalted echelon known as the Top 25 Rising Stars. Hmph. Let us hope they do not burn out as swiftly as an unwarded Hexflare.

Henceforth, and for the duration of my begrudging tenure in this vaunted tier, I shall endeavor—if the quality of the Craft permits—to release two chapters per diem. Yes, two. No, I am not mad (though the quills mutter otherwise).

The response to this tome has been . . . distressingly positive. I had expected derision, or at least academic snobbery. Instead, you’ve given me motivation. Motivation! A dangerous thing in the wrong hands. Nevertheless, I have harnessed it, for now.

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

So steel yourselves for more errant humor, awkward interludes, and, Flamus preserve us all, . . . Liene. May the Flames of the Origins forgive her.

That is all. Return to your sigils.

Hey guys. Now that I’ve entered Top 25 Rising Stars, for as long as I’m in Rising Stars, I’ll release two chapters a day if I can maintain the quality of my writing. The reception for this book has been overwhelmingly positive, and it gave me the motivation to push harder. Expect a lot more awkward humor and weird Liene moments.
