So, it’s been a long journey. Thank you all for supporting me. When I first write, I never imagine it will get this far. It is all thanks to all of you that I managed to keep going.

At first, I just want to write the best I can and let the story goes from there. Recently, I have given the scope of the Aurora Scroll world. It’s been in my mind for a long time. I want it big, I want it rich in lore, I want it epic.

Well, it got too big. A pitfall that many writers fall into, I understand. Unless it got into 2000 or 3000 chapters, the Chekov Guns won't get a turn.

After more than 500 chapters, the exhaustion has piled up quite high.

As an avid reader of xianxia stories, I become a writer. Boy, I still remember the feeling of reading I Shall Seal the Heavens for the first time. Meng Hao’s journey feels really magical for me back then. After Daoist Gu got abruptly discontinued, I took up the pen for the first time as part of channeling my frustration of the lack of evil protagonist.

Hammered the keyboard, more like. Not a single pen is responsible for the Aurora Scroll writing. Hehehehe.

One thing led to another, and here we are. Thanks for reading my story.

I have a created a story. I began it, and it needs an ending, or it won't be complete.

I admit that money is part of the reason to want to quit writing. Seeing other people got over a thousand dollars every month made me feel the limit of my creative work. I cannot make a popular story that become a money tree.

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

I realize there are many other writers getting less and I’m grateful for what I have been given. But it’s clear that popularity is not what I can reach, at least not with this story.

I’m not casting blame. If anything, the blame is mine since my story isn't interesting enough for other people. No great novelist hidden inside me, folks. You won't find the next Harry Potter or GoT here. Hehehe.

That was fine, since Aurora Scroll is the story that I want to make, but I can't write it forever.

In many power fantasy Chinese novel, I got tired of reading them because it never ends. Emperor’s Domination and Martial God Asura are such examples. The story lost the plot, in my opinion. The writer keep writing because they kept getting paid for not stopping, so why should they stop?

Well, I got no such luxurious problem. Still heavily appreciate those that have d their money on , though. Thanks again. Some would say 500+ is already overstaying its welcome.

Not having an ending is painful too. There are so many stories that become indefinite hiatus and got abandoned. I don't want Aurora Scroll to be like that. Despite all, I love this story that I have created.

Well, the rant is getting too long. Sorry about that.

This writer feel burned out and have been going on fumes. Will take a break in writing around mid-December, before Christmas. Most likely for a month.

There are a few chapters left to be written as I set up the end point before the break.

After that, the final arc of Aurora Scroll will begin.

Don't know how long the final arc will be, but I want it to end in a way that I envisioned, so I won't rush it. I promise to all the fans that it won't be a rushed ending slop.

Well, as best as this not-great author can write, anyway. Here’s hoping the break refreshes my creativity.

My won't be paused. Everyone is free to chose to discontinue during the break period on their own.

For the RR releases, after it finished the current arc and got to a fitting stopping point, it will enter a break too. When I returned from rehab, I’ll similarly continue releasing on RR.

I don't know what comes next, but I want to focus on finishing the Aurora Scroll story as it, and you all, deserves.
