Ethan strolled into the palace. The palace guards were delighted to see him.

He was cherished by all.

“Big brother, welcome back the palace, the palace missed your absence,” his sister of eighteen years mumbled as she rushed to him.

“Little sister, you are growing up,” he said.

“That is because I am not a little sister anymore,” she said as she hugged him.

“The last time I could recollect, you are just seventeen, you are still a minor,” he said.

“Thanks, you are here, I will be eighteen in two weeks, hope you don’t forget,“ she said as she encircled her arm around his neck.

“I can’t forget your birthday, little sister, you deserve the best,” he said, she chuckled.

“But big brother, when will you quit calling me small sister, I am now a lady,” she, said.

“A lady! hope you are not heeding those nasty girls in your school?” He asked.

She shocked her head negatively.

“Do you have a boyfriend?” he asked

She nodded in affirmation.

“Little sister, be cautious with your boyfriend, you are a princess. Don’t permit little guys to manipulate you,” he asserted

“Big brother, Dave isn’t like that,” she said.

“Hope he will come for your birthday party?” he asked

“Yes, brother,” she said.

"I will like to met him, tou cant know the book by it cover, i need to check the boy's character. Because marrying a princess is a job, and only the expert will do that. I want the best for you sister," ha said, she chuckled

"Ojat, brother," she said happily.

“When will you realize that you are no more a kid?” the Queen said as she walked in.

Princess Bella furrowed her eyebrow.

“The royal mother, good morning,” Ethan said as he bows.

“Good morning my prince, if I don’t summon for you to come, you won’t come?” she said as she sat on the couch.

“And you Bella, you shouldn’t stay too close to your brother as if you are both lovers, you are now a big lady. Permit him to feel lonely so he can bring home a bride,” the Queen said.

“Mother, he is my brother,” Bella said.

“I know, so because he is your brother, you won’t allow him brings a wife?” the Queen said

Ethan and Bella gazed at each other

“Mother, I am just visiting here after some months. You can’t even offer me anything, the first thing you assert is about marriage, mother, it isn’t fair,” Ethan said.

“Life isn’t fair, that is why you should do everything feasible to marry in the main time,” the Queen said.

“Royal mother, why not bestow him enough time. Good women aren’t easy to come by,” the king said as he walked in.

“Thank daddy, mother allow big brother to me,” Bella said.

“Will you shut up, will you get out of here!” she yelled at Bella

Bella hissed and walked out sluggish

“Lina, the way you are addressing those children is too harsh. They are of the royal family, They were supposed to be pampered,” the king said.

“They may be of the royal blood, but they are also from my womb, nobody can tutor me how to nurture them,” the Queen said.

“Kayla phoned that he will fly for the Princess’s birthday,” The king said.

“That is my son, the moment I say this he relinquished. But as for you, you are adamant. If you don’t bring a bride on Bella’s birthday, I will talk to the Imperial council to discard you as the heir and reinstate Kayla,” the queen said.

“Mother, you can’t use the throne to threaten me, I am inquisitive to be the king, if not for the tradition which bestows power to the eldest son as the heir, I won’t even approve the confirmation of me to be the heir,” Ethan said with anger.

“Lina, you are taking this far, Ethan is no more a baby, he is an adult who can take his decision himself. Why not bestow to him more time,” the king said.

“That is what you always say, he is no more a kid, give him more time. Will I wait for the imperial council to bestow the heir to his junior brother just because he is yet to marry?” the Queen said. She stood up to leave.

The King faced Ethan and stared at him.

“Ethan, your mother is right, you possess the other qualities of an heir, but the most important is marriage. Without a queen there won’t be a king, if you still want princess Pinky, she is still accessible, she will make a good wife,” the king said.

“No your Highness, I have found a lady I intend to marry, just bestow me some time, but I cant assert if it is before or on Bella’s birthday,“ Ethan said.

“Okay, maintain your time. Selecting a queen isn’t a susceptible task, it is a humdrum task,” he said.

Frank sat down clutching his laptop, there was a whack on the door. He stood up to unlock the door.

His investigator stood at the door

“Mate, come in,” Frank said.

They both strolled in and sat down.

“I have found the guy,” Mate said

“Good job, now let me know what you got,“ he said.

“His name is Axton. One of the street hustlers who handily hacks into crime. He operates with underground drug lords, I can’t obtain their names. They perpetrated a lot of crimes. It occurs that your late brother’s wife has a childhood with him. They grew up together in the slum. It is well perceived that they had copulated together several times,” the mate said.

“Hmm, is Linda a criminal or a lover to Axton?“ Frank asked. He was happy as if he just win a jackpot

“Likely, she wasn’t part of it or she is a culprit,” Mate said.

“Culprit?” Frank asked. He smiled.

“Something to nailed and blackmailed my dear Linda,” he said mysteriously.

He could never believe Linda was a saint.

He stared at mate as if he has just eluded him.

“I can’t believe she isn’t a culprit, that lady peeps like a criminal to me. She just appears from nowhere to snatch my brother from our family,“ he said.

“You realize that I will be candid with you, she may not be a culprit!” Mate said
