Phoebe's POV
I struggled down from my bed as I gasped hardly got air, looking for my inhaler,tears formed in my eyes zi was Struggling so hard, someone entered
"Phoebe wouldn't you"it was Kay,he stopped talking as he saw me
"Where's your inhaler"Kay asked panicking,I pointed where it was,he found it and gave It to me,I inhaled as much as I can,I was kind of exhausted though,it took time for me to regain myself back
"Are you okay"he asked
"Yeah,kind of"I said
"I'll bring your food here"he said and walked out,I wasn't really comfortable,he came back with my food, together with mum and dad
"Sweetheart"mum said as she sat beside me
"Are you okay now"dad asked,I nodded yes
"When last did you take your pills"Kay asked
"Can't remember"I said as I ate
"Tsk, seriously"he frown
"I'm sorry okay"I said,I know he was pissed
"You'd take your pills after eating"mum said
"Yeah I know"I said eating fast
"And you're wearing your mask too"Kay said,I was upset
"I know right"I said as I stood up,and walked outside as I got downstairs,I went to the kitchen, preparing jax's meal
"Aren't you late for school"it was dad's voice
"I'm Not"I said as I cooked
"So who's the food for"he asked
"JB"I answered
"Okay, sweetheart,I need to talk to you"he said
"Dad not now,when I get back from school,you can have all your time with me huh"I smiled looking at him
"Okay,you need anything?"he asked
"Nope, I'm okay"I said
"Okay"he said and left me alone in the kitchen.As soon as I was done cooking and packing the meal,I went back to my room,took my bath and got dressed,I wore a blue strip mini flare gown,with a white flats packing my hair ponytail,I decided to go natural,not wearing any make up on,I took my pills before walking downstairs,as soon as I got downstairs,Kay was already waiting for me in the car
"Dad,mum,bye"I said and walked out, taking Jax meal along with me,he started the car and drove off.we didn't say anything to each other till we got to school.
The Class was empty,all the windows were broken.
"Was this what Jax broke down?yish,he's something else"I told myself
"Phoebe"someone called on me,I turned to see who it was,it's tony
"Tony"I called to him,still on my mask
"What's up with the class"I asked
"We've got new class"he said as I followed his lead
"You now have a new partner"he said as we walked
"Who"I asked
"Jax"he smiled
"Jax?"I was surprised
"Yeah,he said he wanted to be your new seat partner,so Zayn let him be"he said
"Where does Zayn seat now?"I asked as we walked through the stairs
"He seats in the midst of the girls now"Tony smiled
"Oh okay"I smiled,then we entered the class,tony went to his seat,inwas still standing at the door, looking at everyone,I loved the class
"The mask girl again"Lucy murmured as I located my seat,I went sitting beside Jax
"Hey"I greeted
"You're not gonna talk to me with the mask on babe"he said looking at me,I gently removed it,I smiled looking at him,he was handsome,I loved the way he packed his hair
"Are you with your phone?"he asked
"Yeah,why?"I answered
"Check your message inbox"he said then I checked it,he had sent almost 20 messages,i was astonished
"Woah, I'm sorry,I didn't check on it"I apologized
"It's okay,I was just worried about you"he smiled
"Okay"I said as my phone rang,twas Clark
"Jax,it's Clark"I said looking at him
"You can pick it, I'm not bothered"he said not looking at me, folding his hands,I nodded and picked it
"I'm sorry"he apologized
"For what"I asked
"About the other day,how I behaved, snubbing you and all of that"he said,I remembered
"It's okay"I said,Zayn came up
"Who is she talking to"Zayn asked
"Clark"Jax answered lowly,zayn frowned,I cautioned him
"Are you still mad at me?"he asked
"I said it's fine"I said
"Okay"he said
"Yeah bye"I said
"Bye"he said,I hung up
"What happened"Zayn asked as I brought out jax's meal
"He thought I was mad at him"I said
"What did he do"Jax asked
"Well that day,he brought me to school,he asked whose shirt I was wearing,told him twas yours,then he changed face and snubbed me,so he called to apologise for his misbehavior"I said
"So you accepted the apology"Zayn asked
"Yes"I answered
"What?"Zayn exclaimed
"I wasn't even mad at him before,so why shouldn't I accept his apology when he asked for it"I said
"I should feed you"I asked Jax,he smiled
"Yes"he answered,I was glad he wasn't sad about Clark calling me
"That guy likes you"Zayn said as I fed Jax
"Zayn"I warned
"Yes,cause in the first place,why would he get upset cause you wore jax's shirt,it's non of his business"Zayn said,I hissed
"Whatever, Clark doesn't like me"I said
"Anyway, whenever he asks you out,you know what to do"Zayn smirked
"Turn his ass down"Jax said,i notched him
"Guys,hey! attention!I need your attention!"Lucy yelled from the stage
"What does the scumbag have to say"I said underneath my voice
"I heard you"Jax said
"Anyhow"I said,the class was silent
"Do you guys know if we have any asthma patient in here"she asked,then my heart bumped,the class murmured
"No"someone answered from the back seat
"Okay,I just wanna see if my observations are right"she smirked looking at me
"Girl,what trash are you saying,you have no stupid observations,who says we have an asthma patient here and who cares anyway "tony spoke so loudly,so she'd hear him
"When you see an asthmatic patient,it's not written on their forehead,you see it through their trashy attitude,tch"she hissed
"Jeez,I don't like them"Zayn said as I stopped feeding Jax,he doesn't like them??
"Who likes them anywhere"Lucy said as I started hearing all nasty comments
"Thanks for your attention"she said and walked out to her seat
"I'm okay now babe"Jax said solemnly
"I'll do the finishing"Zayn smiled
"Okay"I said lowly as I have the food to zayn
"Why don't you like them"Jax asked
"You mean the asthmatic patients?"Zayn asked why eating
"Yes"Jax answered
"They are so weak in the inside,they ain't got no hope,no friends"he said,I was astonished,what if Zayn finds out, I'm asthmatic,what was he gonna do
"No friends?"Jax asked with seriousness
"Yes no friends,no one is ready to make friends with them, I'm not ready either,I mean who has time to be watching over some patient when I've got better life to live and enjoy,they live a very Boring life,it's not everything they're allowed to do and their life is at risk,imagine me having a friend who's asthmatic,I wouldn't even have time for myself"he said with seriousness,I fisted my hand, preventing tears not to drop
"That's harsh you know"Jax said
"There's nothing harsh about what I said"he defended
"They've got life too,they're humans.phoebe what'd you think"Jax asked,I quickly snap out of my thought
"Yeah,I support you Jax"I said faking a smile
"Imagine if Phoebe,your best friend,was an asthmatic patient?"Jax asked, I looked at him,kind of suspiciously
"The question is,why would Zayn make an ASTHMATIC patient his best friend"the shock hit me with what he said.
I was hurt by what Zayn said tho,I really was but I let it go.

"Hey wifey"Jax said as he sat down, joining me in the library.what was he doing here
"Hey"I answered
"You okay?"he asked
"Yes I'm fine,why you here anyway"I said as I helped him adjust his hair
"We're having history class"he said as I dropped my hands
"That's true,let's go"I said preparing to get up
"No babe,it's Boring, I'd prefer you to teach me,that's why I came, everyone are having lectures,we can have our own history class here,alone"he smirked,I smiled
"Okay"I said,then I brought out history textbooks from the book shelfs
"Okay,let's see, we'll treat classes political thoughts,...in history different people were said to have their own philosophy that shares the belief in the existence of matter outside their own minds,you know some of them?"I asked
"I think,Thomas Hobbes"he asked doubting
"Yes, your right babe"I smiled at him
"Who else?"I asked
"Um, I'm not sure of this one baby"he said scratching the back of his head

"I see someone has been reading"I smiled at him
"Do you know about their political thoughts?"I asked,he was such a fast learner
"Yeah,just a little about Jeremy Bentham,um he is referred to as the father of utilitarianism"he said
"Why is he referred to as that"I asked
"No idea"he said
"Okay,let me tell you,he claims that man by nature is in pleasure seeking and pain avoiding animals"I said
"Jeez"he said
"Yes, pleasure and pain are the two guides of Human actions and according to Bentham, pleasure and pain direct and determine the goodness and badness of human actions"I explained
"Oh,so that's why he's called father of utilitarianism"he said
"Yes,you know the meaning of that?"I asked
"Sure,it's an ethical theory based on the principle of utility,it's to say, utility is the criterion by which good action are distinguished from bad ones"he said,I smiled at him,he was correct, then a question came to my mind
"Jax"I called to him as he read the textbook,he looked at me
"Yes babe"he answered
"Hmm,I wanna ask you a question, please don't flare up"I said
"Okay,I wouldn't"he said
"Hm,your nightmare,can you tell me about it?"I asked
"Okay, I'd tell you.it happened when I was very little,I can't remember vividly,maybe because it was so attacking,it became my nightmare"he said staring at me,I was already getting emotional
"I witnessed house extensively burning down.i was crying and yelling for help, people where in that house Phoebe,there was no body to help,I was scared,I cried as I watched some couples with their only child ranting outside of the house,then,hm,when I noticed again,the little child was out of the house with another child,the child that was brought out was dead I think,I cried loudly, although I was still young then but it's meant a lot to me as soon as I grew up,Phoebe that's my nightmare,it hasn't stopped,I tried everything to make it all fade away,it didn't work"he said,tears flowed freely
"What happened to them"my voice broke
"I can't remember"he said
"Okay"I said as I cried,I covered my face,he drew me closer and hugged me
"It's okay babe, I'm fine"he pet me
"Sorry about it Jax"I told him as he pulled away
"Hmm yeah"he smiled,I managed to smile too,Jax phone rang,he picked it up
"Wassup Emmanuel"he smiled
"Are you guys done with history?"he asked,then he laughed, whatever response Emmanuel gave him
"For what?"he asked confusedly
"Okay, we'll be there"he said and hung up
"What happened"I asked
"Phoebe,did you tell Clark to come around"he asked
"Not at all, why?is he around?"I asked
"Yes, he's with the guys in the cafeteria"he said, wasn't frowning,but he was giving a clueless expression
"You can go,it's okay"he said
"Hm okay,but you're coming with me"I said
"Okay"he smiled,i was surprised as I packed the books
"You're smiling"I said as we stood up walking out of the library
"Yes of course, I'm trying to compose myself,so I wouldn't flare up"he said
"Oh okay"I smiled
"What happened"he asked
"What"I asked
"Why were you wearing on bape mask"he asked
"Nothing"I lied
"You're sure?"he asked,I felt his eyes on me
"Yes"i was bold enough to lie,so he wouldn't notice I'm lying
"You look pretty today"he smirked as we walked down the stairs
"Thanks"I smiled,then we walked into the cafeteria, meeting Clark with the guys,he was wearing exact hoodie t-shirt Jax was wearing,there was silent,they were not talking to him,he looked at me and smiled
"Hey Phoebe"he greeted as he stood up and hugged me,then pulled away,Jax had his seat
"Um, hey Clark"I faked a perfect smile
"You're looking pretty"he commented
"Yeah thanks"I said nervously feeling uncomfortable with the way he talked,the guys were looking at him strangely like if they got an opportunity, they'll kill him, he's busy commenting on my good looks,knowning the fact that the guys were there
"Well,I have something to show you outside,will you follow me?"he asked,I looked at the guys,I knew they didn't want me to go,but I had to go
"Okay"I said,then we both walked outside to his cars,he brought out a package,I checked it,it was a dress and a blocked heels,darn it!the dress has my favorite color on it and the heels was my kind of heels,jeez, why him
"You love it?"he asked
"Yes"I smiled
"Thanks"I thanked him
"You're welcome"he smiled
"How did you know,blue is my favorite color"I asked
"It is?,wow,I never knew,I just thought you'd like it, I'm glad you'd love it"he smiled
"Yeah"I said smiling
"Phoebe"he called to me
"Yes"I answered
"Can you go on a date with me tonight?"I requested,I was shocked, immediately my facial expression changed

"Yes Phoebe, I'm in love with you already,I can't deal with it any longer,I tried to fight the feelings away,but it didn't work,I know sometimes, I'm kind of awkward,that's why I got upset,when I saw you wore jax's shirt,I was jealous,I thought he was your boyfriend"he said sincerely
"Jax is my boyfriend"I said knowing fully well, I'm gonna turn him down, hurting his feelings
"What?"he asked surprisely
"Yes,he's my boyfriend,and I love him,look Clark, I'm really sorry"I apologized,I was serious about it
"Why didn't you let me know"he asked
"You never asked"I told me
"Okay,but at least,you could go out with me tonight"he asked finding it difficult to smile,yeah I know right,he's probably hurt
"Yes,a friendly outing,no feelings attached"I smiled,then he smiled
"Thanks"he smiled

"I need you to wear that dress tho"he said
"It's not a problem for me,I love it"I said
"Okay,I think I'll have to leave now"he said
"I'm not sending you away Clark"I said
"Yes of course,I know,I have somewhere to be"he said

"Bye"I waved as he drove off, I walked back to the cafeteria
"Like I know he wanted to give you something"Zayn said
"Chill,let me talk"I said kind of not smiling

"He asked me out"I said
"Whaaat!"they chorused expect Jax
"What was your reply"Tony asked
"I turned his ass down"I mimicked Jax,I looked at him,he just grinned
"That's what I thought"Zayn said,I eyed him,he was smiling
"He was hurt"Emmanuel asked
"Yes,he really was,it was obvious"I said calmly, feeling for him
"Who cares if he's hurt or not"Samuel said
"Guys please,I know you guys don't give a darn about Clark,good,but would you please respect his feelings in my presence, please"I pleaded talking with seriousness
"We're sorry"Jax said not smiling,I was surprised,I looked at him

"It's a dress with heels"I said as I brought them out gently
"Jeez,your favourite colour,fuck!"Zayn said
"You told him?"Jax asked
"No,I didn't,he just guessly bought it"I said as I kept back in
"So,where are you wearing it to?"tony asked
"I don't know,he didn't let me know"I said
"You're going out with him?"Samuel asked
"Yes tonight"I said
"A date?"Jax asked
"No,just normal friends outing"I said
"Okay"he said,Kay call came up
"Hey Kay"I greeted smiling
"Are you done with lectures?"he asked
"Yeah,I think, you're coming to pick me?"I asked
"I'll take you home"Jax said not looking at me
"Jax's bringing me up"I told him
"Okay, then,bye"he said and hung up
"Are you done with your lectures"he asked
"Yes,you"I asked
"I have F/M class"he said
"I'll wait then"I said
"No, I'm taking you home now, I'll come back to school"he said
"Oh okay"I said as I stood up,he did the same too
"Bye guys"I said as I held Jax on his arm and we both walked outside,we parted ways as we entered the car,we didn't talk till he dropped me off,he got down as I got down too
"Babe"he called to me not smiling
"Yes"I answered
"I'm sorry"he apologized
"For what"I asked confusedly
"For not able to satisfy you,the way you want, buying you your favourite stuffs and that"he said sincerely
"Jax"I called to him, as I held his hand
"Now who says buying me stuffs is what satisfies me,you see the dress in here,I like just the colour,not the dress itself,yunno what satisfies me?"I asked
"Clark?"he guessed
"No,you babe,you satisfy me enough,my only satisfaction"he smiled
"You are too"he said and moved closer to kiss me,I gave in,he kissed me,he slowly trailed his hands on my laps almost pulling my gown up ,I didn't stop him,I let him take over,he moved his hand slowly under my gown,he moved slowly,then stopped on my thighs, rubbing in circles,I almost wanted to jerk away from his touch,then he pulled away from my lips, trailing his lips to my ear,it felt so good
"I don't wanna mover further"he whispered,I laughed as he pulled away finally
"Here is too open, I'd love somewhere where it's just me and you"he smiled
"Good"I smiled
"You're still going out with Clark tonight?"he asked
"Yes"I answered
"Wearing that dress?"he asked
"Yes,don't worry, I'm all yours"I smiled
"No doubt"he smiled
"You don't wanna Miss F/M class"I told him
"Yeah,I should go babe"he said
"Bye"I said smiling as he drove off .I entered inside, sitting on the couch,I felt tired
"Phoebe,is that you?"mum said from the kitchen
"Yes mum,where's dad"I asked
"Not back from work,Kay is in his room"she said
"Okay"I said faintly as I slept off.
