I coughed lightly as I woke up,still meeting myself in the same postion I slept last night,i switch on my phone

''kay told me last night,you didn't come home, and am sure you were definitely in jax's house,are you at home now?'it was a message from zayn,i replied him telling him i'd be fine,i felt jax's tempeture,he was getting better,i checked the mirror,my eyes were swollen,i didn't have a sound sleep,i took my cross bag,i was ready to go back home

'bye jax' i said and walked out of the room,hearing nosises downstairs

'I told you not to talk when I talk' it was a man's voice,i quickly rushed downstairs only for me to see a tall muscular man beating jax's mum,was that jax's dad?,he was doing the wrong thing,she was already bleeding,i quickly ran between them,stopping him from beating her,i didn't know when he held my hands and pushed me hard to the wall,making my head bleed,it was painful and the bleeding was profuse,i endured,then he left the house,i almost lost consciousness,she ran towards me,walking me to the couch,she treated me as fast as she could

'ma' i called to her

'yes dear' she answered as she tried to stop crying

'are you okay?' i asked and before she could answer, an horn came up,i knew it was going to be kay,i was very sure

'i'll be back' i told her as I ran outside meeting kay,i was right

'kay'i called to him,how did he even know this place

'get in'he ordered

;kay i'he chirped in yelling

'get in the car!'he yelled,i obeyed

'what happened to your head' he asked me frowning

'nothing' i answered

'are you going to tell me or i'll call dad right now and tell him where you slept last night'he threatened

'i slipped from the stairs' said sobbing

'you're lying'he said,he was right

'I slipped from the stairs,and that's it,if your not gonna believe,then fine'i yelled

'sorry' he said as he drove off

'who told you where i was' i asked

'zayn did,i pleaded him to'i said facing the mirror

'I was going to come myself'i told him

'am taking you to school anyway' he said

'I know'i told him

'what happened to you phoebe'mum asked

'I slipped from the stairs'i told her,i know more questions are still coming

'but..'i chirped

'mum please' I said heading to my room,after i was done dressing,ate breakfast,then mum helped in re-dressing my wound

'am sorry for yelling at you'he applogised as I was about to get off from the car

'you are not sorry,you have to apologise to my own taste'i was upset,i frowned asi walked to my seat,all eyes were on me,zayn was addressing the class,then jax walked in,what the heck was he doing in school

'so any questions or contributions'zayn asked

'yeah'lucy said

'yes'

'your bestie's head is damaged,you got any replacement?'lucy said,i got vexed

'she's still pretty,dont forget'he said and stormed out,i sighed,class was dismissed,getting ready to go to the library

"Phoebe"it was Jax,I turned to him

"Why are you in school?"I had to ask first

"Cause I wouldn't just resist seeing you"he said,I sighed

"Jax,your not fully well,you don't have to"I said

"Hm,what happened to you"he asked

"I fell from the stairs"I gave him a straight lie

"Where"he asked

"This morning at your house"I said looking down

"Phoebe"he called to me,I looked up at him and he hugged me, i could feel his temperature,it has reduced

"Sorry"he pulled away

"I'll be fine"I said

"If you would just smile"he said not smiling,I shaked my head no, if only he knew it was his dad that pushed me to the wall

"I am not in the mood Jax"I said not looking at him

"Is there something you don't wanna let me know?"he asked

"No,am fine"I faked a smile and walked away to the library

"If you are gonna lie to Jax, definitely not me"it was Zayn

"Zayn",I called to him cleaning my tears

"You didn't slip from the tears,you were pushed to the wall,and Jax dad did it"he told me,I was shocked!!

"Oh yes!,I know what goes on in jax's house,his dad maltreats him mum and sort of that,and I know definitely it will be his dad,so true"he told me,I nodded yes

"Please don't let him know"I pleaded

"I wouldn't"he said

"Thanks"I told him

"I'll join you later with the guys"I told him,he nodded and walked out,i read a little before joining the guys

"You guys are still here"I said as I sat beside Zayn,opposite Jax

"We were waiting for you"Tony said

"To make you smile"Samuel said

"Hmm"I nodded "great idea"I added

"Do you remember,in year 1, when we were having class,when your mum ran to school to your class,just to give u cardigan"Zayn laughed

"Oh God,mum was so embarrassing,I was highly embarrassed,and when she bought lunch for me and stayed for me to finish the food in her presence"I said

"I could not stop laughing"Tony laughed

"You need to change your band"Zayn said

"It's soaked"Emmanuel said

"Okay"I said then stood up to the sick Bay,I met with a nurse,I sat down as she changed it,as soon as she was done,she walked out

"Finally you smiled,but you didn't when you were with me"Jax said standing at the front of the door resting on it folding his arms

"Hmm, sorry,wasn't really in the mood, sorry I walked out on you too,don't be upset"I apologized

"Am not,m fine,and am happy your fine too"he smiled,Kay call came in

"Hey"I called to him and then he started apologizing and how he yelled at me and so on,I forgave him and we were good again

"Your feeling aches?"he asked me

"Yeah Jax,a little"I told him

"I don't like the condition you are in"he wasn't smiling

"I don't neither, everyone has ups and downs"I tried to be serious

"Well at least you are half better now,I don't have to worry about you like I did yesterday"I said adjusting my hair

"You were worried about me?"he asked

"Yes,why wouldn't I,and I got in a fight with your sister because of you"I said

"Why"he asked

"Cause she didn't seem to care about the condition you were in,she was so nonchalant,I mean who does that, she's your blood, she's family to you,it isn't suppose to be that way"I almost yelled,Jax laughed

"What's funny?"I had to ask if I said something stupid

"Why are you getting mad"he laughed

"Am not getting mad,am just concerned about you"I said

"There are sometimes in life Jax,that you'd be afraid to lose some kind of people you really care about,even if you don't mean a thing to them,I was scared yesterday,I really was"I told him

"You mean the world to me, which I know you haven't really realized yet but thanks for being there for me"he smiled

"Well,am good and caring"I smiled as he hugged me.
