Kate's pov

One week after.

It's been one week now and Daniel and his wife are yet to come back.

I don't know, but are they doing this purposely to me??

Maybe it's because am here that is the reason why they are not back because I have asked several maids and they told me it's also strange to them also that the last time they did not sleep at home they came back the next day.

I Know for the fact that he doesn't like me but why will he do this to me?? Why??

But her wife has been nice to me and he's really different from his Daniel. While Daniel is arrogant and rude,why did his wife tells him to allow them to come home since of all she did the other day is fake.....

"Madam what did you want to have for dinner" one of the maids asked and jolted me out of my thoughts.

I slammed the door shut and hissed at her.

I will stay here and wait for them,I know no matter how they will still come back.

This place is still better than my friends place, instead of begging for food there is shelter here.

But my problem is the fake pregnancy.

How will I impregnate myself??

Annabelle's pov

After one week,we are on our way back home.

I really enjoyed myself even though I am not feeling well.

After Daniel's performance the remaining days is for enjoyment for us.

We went to the cinema,go to the club and visit many places in the city.

I tried my best to enjoy myself with my husband.

I don't want Daniel to know that am having fever, because I know him too well he will be scared.

Annabelle, guess what?" Daniel said as we he was driving and I was licking ice cream.

"Huh? What?" I asked, paying full attention to him".

"We are not going back to that mansion,we are going to the new one"he said and smile.

"Really? Daniel no way? I said.

"Have you forgotten that we left someone in the house and if we did not go home now how are we going to know the truth and don't forget we said we wanted to carry out test on her.... and I'm sure by now she might be tired of staying home." I shrugged.

"Ok"....Is just that I hate seeing the bitch face,it makes me to feel guilty" he said.

"Really....."

"Yeah" he replied.

"But I see a point in what you said" he said.

Jenny's pov

"Jenny?"chris called calmly and turned to look at me. He held my hands in his and we both stared intently at each other.

My heart beat increased and I felt so nervous.

It's been one week we've been friends and I really enjoyed the friendship with him.

And I think am in love with him also.

My life has changed since Annabelle gave me that money.

I am no longer the poor girl,I am now a classy woman that have different type of people working for her.

He was looking all serious and I wondered about what he wanted to say.

"Jenny, I know we've been friends for the past one week and the truth is that, since the day have noticed you at Annabelle's birthday party I could not stop thinking about you.

I'm glad I noticed you that day because you are kind loving and sweet girl.

"Please will you be my girlfriend because have realized how much I really love you" he said.

I smiled and let the tears that had flowed up in my eyes to fall down freely down my cheeks.

"Yes!!! Yes!!! "I said and hugged him immediately.

This is word have been longing to her.

"And I love you too Chris" I said.

More tears rolled down uncontrollably from my eyes.

Daniel's pov

I smiled as Annabelle cried for more ice cream.

"Daniel I need more ice cream" she cried.

I quickly drove to a nearby place, before I got down from the car" I smiled and kissed her cheeks.

I bought the ice cream and run back to give her and unfortunately she did not collect it.

"Why but you are the one that you said you want ice cream" I asked her.

"Yes I don't want this flavor,I want vanilla flavor" she said.

I don't want her to cry for anything.

And I quickly run to buy another one.

I bought the vanilla flavor for her and she was very happy.

"I know she is just managing her self, once we reach the house after she might rest we will go and see the doctor immediately".

I don't just want anything to happen to her.

I don't know why she does not want me know that she is feeling sick.

I could see it in her eyes.

I entered the car and zoomed off.

I don't just feel like going home to meet that bi*ch,if not because of Annabelle what will I be going there for.

If she wants the house she can eat it.

We entered the compound and parked at the garage.

Immediately we got down, it was the witch that showed up.

Kate's pov

I couldn't take it anymore, and I was burning in anger.

But suddenly I heard a car honking at the gate and I decided to check through the window.

I was very anxious and I checked,the car looks like the Daniel's own.

I could not see the driver because the car was tinted.

I did not take time,I quickly run to check it out.

I waited for the person to come outside,it took a while before the person come outside.

Before I knew it two more cars entered inside again and I don't need a sooth Sayer to tell me that is Daniel's guards.

After some minutes they come down,lo and behold it was Daniel he got down and quickly go and open the door for his wife.....I fumed in anger when he opened it.

He did not notice that I was outside,he smiled and took his wife hand and they started walking inside the house.

When he noticed me his expression changed immediately.......and he stared at me in anger.

He stared at me for a while before he held his wife's hand and left my presence her wife was smiling at me.

What type of fake smile is that? She left me all alone here for one whole weeks and she came back smiling like nothing happened.

I was now left alone standing,I noticed one of the guards smile he was making jest of me,I rolled my eyes and left.

Annabelle's pov

We reached the house and I saw Kate at the entrance of the house.

I smiled at her but she did not smile back.

I entered the room weakly and removed my dress.

I entered the bathroom and on the shower on my hot body.

My body was very hot that I felt like staying there all through.

I know Daniel must be wondering what I was still doing and I heard him knock.

I reluctantly left the bathroom and use my towel to clean my body,I could not apply cream because I don't feel like rubbing cream and I wore my cloth like that.

After I finished I jumped on the bed weakly and before I knew it .....I drifted to dream Land.

Some hours later.

I woke up and realized I slept for three hours unlike me.

I stood up and I could not see Daniel.

I checked the whole house and I could not still see him.

I checked the bar where he loves staying most,I could not still find him.

So I decided to call him.

"Hello where are you" I asked.

"Am with Chris, I don't want to disturb you while sleeping so I decided to catch up with him it's been long" he answered.

"Ok am waiting oooo" I said.

"Yh I will be back in a jiffy" he said.

I decided to check Kate in her room,I opened the door and I was surprised to see her standing.

Am really suspecting her.

"Hi" I said and smiled.

"Hi" she said.

I know he was really angry.

"How is the baby doing, hope is kicking??" I asked her while Smiling widely.

"Yh...yh" she answered.

"Hope you've eaten" I asked.

"Yh" she said again.

"Hope you don't mind you can come to the sitting room so that we can talk am really bored" I asked.

"Ok no prob" she said.

And we both left her room.

"I will just use this opportunity to know her more" I thought.

"But why does she not look like someone who is pregnant?".

We were in the sitting room gisting and talking when Daniel came back.

"He looks sad when he see the both of us together".

But he just smiled and I know that type of smile.

"Annabelle let's talk" he asked.

Ok...

And I stood up.

We entered the room and he stared at me for a while before he started talking.

"Ehmmm!!! Ehmmm!! Annabelle why are you hiding your health status from me,I know you are not okay..... your face says it all,you look pale so have decided we will go to the hospital now" he said.

How come?? How did he know??

"I don't want to go,I hate syringe" I cried.

"I promise they will not give you,you will use only drugs" he said.

That is the reason why have been managing myself I don't want to go to the hospital, and I know if Daniel knows he will suggest hospital.

"Ok"I said and smiled.

"So let's go now before it gets late" he said and stood up.

We left the room and I met Kate in the sitting room,she was surprised to see us going out again.

"We will be back soon" i said to her.

And we left the house.

We drove to the hospital and when we reached there,I explained how have been feeling to him and the doctor carried out some test on me.
