Annabelle's pov

The next morning

I opened my eyes and I realized I was on Daniel's chest,I quickly stand up from his body.

My mind drifted back to what happened yesterday,I become scared again.

I think from now henceforth I will have to do the cooking myself,and I will make sure am careful.

Daniel did not even say anything yesterday,but his expression shows he his really angry.

"It's getting late already and Daniel is supposed to be on his way to work now" I thought.

"Maybe I should wake him" I thought.

Wow! Who would believe he would eat my food yesterday,I love the way he behaves towards me yesterday...he does not act grumpy who would believe the almighty Daniel would be so caring" I thought.

"I wake him up and he turned on the bed and immediately he opened his eyes he gazed at me before he stand up"

He entered the bathroom to bath and I left the room also to prepare breakfast

After I finished preparing the breakfast,I serve it and I make sure I was cautious in order for them not to poison the food.

I heard foot step and I checked the person,I discovered it was my mum.

"Mum good morning ma" I greeted her and pecked her on her fore head.

"How are you my daughter" she asked.

" How is your body now" .

Am fine now mum, don't bother yourself i said and giggled.

I pushed the chair for her to seat down.

"You know yesterday I came to check on you but it seems you are sleeping,so I decided to leaves so I will not disturb you and your husband" she said while I served her.

" mum,I slept early" I muttered.

"So I wanted to tell you that I will be going back to my house,I feel better now"

"Why mum,you can still stay"

No my daughter am feeling okay now and I must go back.

*Ok mum" I said.

"Am going to work now,I will send the maids to come and pack my loads for me"

"Is this my mum,my mum is now looking fresh....the clothes she now wear nowadays are not ordinary clothes_ she looks like a classic woman now" I thought as I watched her eating.

"I smiled and I smiled out tears,who would believe Daniel will do this for my mum.... even though the contract will end for one year I will know I will be happy after but I don't feel like it should end my heart is drawing to Daniel day by day I don't feel like leaving him".

"Mum I will come and visit you later at

"Ok no problem greet your husband for me tell him am late already and can't wait anymore I would have see him before I leave".

you know all this sales girls if they did not supervise them very well they will not do the work well" she said .

"She drop her spoon and left quickly"and I smiled.

I could hear a foot step coming from the step,and when I checked,I discovered it was Daniel.

We gazed at each other, before he sat on the chair.....I quickly serve him his food and he ate the food.

After he finished eating,he stood up and came to my side and pecked me on my cheek.

What?

Daniel pecked me.

And he trailed his fingers on my neck....

"I will be leaving for office now,and take care of yourself" he whispered to my ears.

Hope am not dreaming, Daniel pecked me.

He turned and leave the house.

Annabelle's pov

"After he left, I was on my way to the room".

my food was in my hand with me and I saw Nancy coming towards me.

She smiled at me,I managed to smile back at her because I don't want her to know I have suspect anything.

"Good morning Annabelle,she said"

"Actually since the time have asked her to be calling me Annabelle,that is what she have been calling me but I don't let Daniel to know".

"Morning Nancy,how was your night" I said.

"It was fine she said".

"Can i help you with the tray" she asked while smiling.

"No don't worry, don't let me to stress you,you can go and do your chores" I said stylishly.

"I insist" she said.

"No" I said.

"Ok,I have work to do inside maybe we will talk later" I said and left her dumb founded.

I really thank God for saving me,this girl is really evil and with the way she is smiling no one will suspect her.

"Is God that know what Daniel wants to do to them because I think that his silence means danger"

I climbed the stairs and entered the room,i removed my clothes and entered the bathroom to bathe.....

as the water touches me my mind drifted to Daniel,why did he suddenly change his grumpy attitude.

Firstly,he cared for me when I was drunk, secondly he bought sanitary pad and drugs for me and still care for me and he is eating my food now,the food he said is tasteless.

Thirdly he pecked me this morning,what is happening?, Am I dreaming.

I wish he his here with me,I love seeing his handsome face even though we don't talk.

"After I finished bathing,I sat at the mirror and rub cream on my body....why is it that am becoming beautiful every day" I thought.

I saw a very beautiful white short gown in my closet,I picked it up.

Wow! It may be one of the clothes Daniel bought for me, talking of Daniel... have never seen him repeating any clothes since I started staying in his room.

I wore my strapless bra and pant,and I put on the gown.....it really look fitted on me.

I did a light make up on my face,I wear my shoe and picked my purse and my phone when I opened it I was surprised to see money inside the purse ....wow! Wow! This must be Daniel's work,he is really trying.

And I left the house to my mum's mall..

Daniel's pov

Why can't I removed my mind from Annabelle, have been thinking about her since morning that have reached work.

I can't believe she would have loose her life all because of my carelessness.

I have assigned guards to be watching them for now,I want to catch them red handed....and that is when they will know the stuff am made of.

I have not even f**k any b***h since have entered this office today and is really weird.

I heard a knock at the door and the person opened it,and it show out to be Chris.

"Hey dude, what's up" he asked.

"Bro am not good at all"

I see.

"Why is your face like this,are you sick" he asked.

No am not sick.

"Chris can I ask you a question?" I asked him .

Am all ears he said giggling.

"Why is it that am thinking about Annabelle" I asked.

" He started laughing like a fool,he laughed hysterically".

"What's funny,you are in the office reduce your voice"I said.

"You and I know if I should laugh louder more than this no one will question you,and this office is even sound proof so no one can hear us so allow me to laugh my laugh in peace" he said sarcastically.

He laughed again... before talking "who would believe the almighty Daniel is in love with his wife.

I quickly hold his mouth, when he spilled word out.

No way am not in love with her,I said quickly.

"You and I no I don't fall in love" I said and he laughed again.

"So if you are not in love,what it is? He asked".

"Maybe is because we are staying in the same room" I answered.

He laughed again.

"What happen,why are you just laughing unnecessary laugh" I said angrily.

Ok don't worry,am the one at fault....if I didn't ask you a question you will not be making jest of me.

"Am sorry bro" he said.

Even though I am older than him, I still love him as my friend and brother.

Ok no problem,I said and we both laughed together.

"Bro I have to go now,I just say that I should say hi to you.... before I forget why did you not come to work yesterday" he asked.

" Story for another day,I said".

Ok bye,he said and we both hugged each other before he left.

I checked my phone and saw missed calls from Lizzy and Kayla.

"The day I will see Lizzy,I will strangle her to death" I mumbled.

I picked my phone and dialled Annabelle's number and she picked it once.

"Where are you" I asked.

"Am at my mum's shopping mall" she said.

Ok I said and ended the call.

I left the office and headed to her mum's mall.

"I saw many customers at the shop on my way to her mum office all of them were just staring at me they could not concentrate on what they are there for".

I greeted her mum,and she was surprised to see me.

"I sighted her where she was sitting down,she looks beautiful with her curly hair"

Her lips only can tempt someone,is it her shape.... everything about her is so beautiful.

"white really looks good on her" I thought and i don't know where the smile come from and I smiled at her..

"My daughter,why don't you entertain your husband her mum said" she stood up giggling.

When she stand up,I noticed a blood stain on her clothes.

What??

Why would she wear white on this kind of the day.

"I quickly remove my big jacket and wear it on her to cover her stained clothes...she was surprised"

"Don't worry mum, actually we will be on our way now" I mumbled.
