Chapter 41: Chapter 41
“Don’t you like have other back up though? My uncle has lots of guards doing shifts.”
“Just me for today. Change in management,” he supplied.
“That’s too bad. You kind of look too good to start having bags under your eyes. And such striking eyes. Wow! What colour are they?” she said moving closer to peer into his eyes. The man’s cheek turned bright pink. He swallowed as she got closer with only an inch between her body and his.
Angel appeared behind the guard, looming over him. His eyes were dark with anger. Nadia's eyes widened right before Angel wrapped an arm around the guard’s neck and snap it. The guy slumped. Nadia jerked back but Angel gripped her by the forearms.
“What part of stay put, didn’t you get, Nadia?!” he snarled, baring his teeth. Fear flashed in Nadia’s eyes and he shut his eyes briefly to contain his anger. When he opened them again. His eyes were dark and Nadia was peering into them in apprehension.
“Stop scaring her, Angel, my God. She did help,” Kurt said as the other Weres appeared from behind her.
“That was really ... hot!” Blaze said, causing Angel to growl at him. The other Were startled backwards and held up his hands in surrender. “Hey, just an observation!”
Kurt gave Angel a friendly pat on the back. He ignored him. Jerked off his shirt and made Nadia wear it, glaring at her. Nadia swallowed.
Blaze lifted the guard from the floor, carrying him inside, the others followed him. Nadia stood still looking into Angel’s eyes. When it was just the two of them, he leaned close to her face and said, “Never again. Never do that again! You are mine. Do you understand me?!”
Nadia nodded transfixed by the show of emotions in his eyes. It was like the flashes of lightning in the grey depth.
“I was...”
“I don’t give a FUCK about the motive, Nadie!!”
“I’m sorry,” she whispered. Angel took a deep breath, trying to calm his beast and failing. Nadia stepped closer to him and slowly stretched up to reach his lips and it was easy since he was leaning into her. She slowly pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth, holding his gaze. Angel shut his eyes as she pressed her open palm on his bare chest.
“Calm down, darling,” she whispered in a soothing voice as if she was taming a wild horse and considering how enraged he was, it was quite accurate.
He drew her against his body in an almost painful crush, buried his face in the nook of her neck to nuzzle her skin. Nadia breathed through parted lips, loving the feel of his skin against hers and a little scared of his reaction.
His nails dug into her skin and she gasped his name. Instead of feeling pain, she felt a deep wave of desire welling inside her.
“Angel,” she whispered.
Angel lifted her up and walked inside the house. The others had entered the house through the main door that he’d earlier opened. He strode in taking her up the stairs to a wide corridor leading to about six rooms. He had earlier scouted the house and knew it was empty.
He picked the nearest one to the stairs, walked inside the shrouded room and placed Nadia on the bed. He almost ripped off her clothes but she helped him to take them off, fumbling hurriedly in the dark. She couldn’t see, but he could.
Angel dropped to his knees, opened her legs wide and buried his face in-between them. He lapped his tongue against her vulva hungrily causing Nadia to moan. Dipping his tongue into her, he growled. Nadia whimpered, writhing on the soft mattress as he fucked her with his tongue. Then he closed his lips around her clit and suck, Nadia cried his name. When she came into his mouth. He licked her hurriedly as if he was starved of her and then rose over her to cup her ass and thrust into her. Nadia jerked up and moan. Angel held her by the nape of her neck to draw her face to his. He then pressed his lips to her right ear and growled, “Your body and all of your being, Nadie, is mine! Don’t you dare forget that ever again!” And surged harder into her.
“Angel!” Nadie cried his name in pure ecstasy.
When they rejoined the others downstairs, Nadia noticed the other Weres avoiding looking at her, but they have been able to find Alexander Miller’s office and his stash of weapons. Angel marched forward, telling the others what to pick, how to pick them and what not to touch.
“How come you know so much about these?” Blaze asked.
“Cos I have seen them used,” he replied. “Some on me,” he added under his breath. The Weres heard him and paused to stare at him in shock and then empathy and anger.
Nadia didn’t hear him. She, however, noted he sounded calmer than earlier and her cheeks heat up when the memory of all he did to her body and said to her upstairs flashed in her head.
She lowered her gaze and walked to Alexander Miller’s desk, admiring the opulent decor. And just like every normal family man, he had pictures of his wife and children on his desk. Nadia thought they were an attractive bunch and wondered if the man's family was different from her uncle’s or if he had fathered a bunch of weirdos too like her cousins.
“That’s it we can leave now,” Angel said. And they filed out of the room. Angel made sure Nadia was in front of him so he could keep his eye on her.
“Where did you guys put the guard?” Nadia asked Blaze when they were back in the woods and up the hill.
“Um... in the security room...” he said avoiding her gaze.
“He is going to be pretty pissed when he wakes up…” she said.
Angel knew then she hadn’t realised he had killed the guard.
