Anthon pulls her shirt up a bit and is happy to find that her slacks had an elastic band. He strokes the edge of the slacks that were already low on her waist. He slowly and softly moves his hand up under her shirt and finds that she is wearing a bra. He stokes the bottom edge of her bra where the fabric and skin touch. Gabriella did not notice Alex's car.
Anthon embraces Gabriella, hoping that Alex sees it. He coops her face with both his hands, “enjoy your day, let me know if you need study help again.”
“I will, and thank you for spending the night,” Gabriella says a bit confused over her mixed feelings. She can not decide if she likes Anthon or not.
Alex sped off in anger giving Anthon great satisfaction. Gabriella thought that it is Anthon speeding off, unaware that Alex now thinks that she is a two-timer.
Later that day Gabriella received flowers, delivered to her door. A smiled crept up her face, wondering who they are from, hoping that they are from Alex but knows they are from Anthon.
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR EXAMS – ALEX she read the card. Gabriella smiles from ear to ear while she puts the flowers into the water. She grabs her phone to text Alex to say ‘thank you’ for the flowers but her phone is dead. She puts it on charge and decides it can wait.
Gabriella took a quick shower and got ready for work. She is about to book an Uber when she heard her doorbell ring.
She opened the door and found Alex standing there.
“Need a ride?” Alex asks with a smile on his face. He still wonders why Anthon is at her house last night and this morning but decided to put it at the back of his head, after all, she never said that they are exclusive and even though it is not his style to allow a woman to two-time him, he felt he wanted to fight for Gabriella’s affection.
“Good afternoon let me get my bag,” Gabriella runs back into her house to grab her bag. As she comes out, she lands a kiss on Alex's mouth.
They walk to his car and he opens the car door for her.
“Such a gentleman,” she smiles, getting into his car.
Inside the car, on their way to the hospital, they made small talk that came easy. They arrived at the hospital just after 7 pm, which gave Gabriella enough time to get dressed in her uniform. She is glad that she worked a twilight shift and not during the day; as she kind of want to avoid Anthon as much as possible. Gabriella wanted to see where this thing with Alex will go and Anthon is just too strong a competitor; he clouds her judgment. She admits to herself that if she were not all tangled up with Alex she would have probably been with Anthon, no doubt about it.
After Gabriella got dressed, she made her way towards the roof of the hospital, she loved spending time there alone, watching the city below, but tonight she didn’t make it to the roof, she got distracted when she walked past a hospital room, feeling a force pulling her in.
