It was on a Thursday morning,I was in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone,when I heard mama's voice shouting my name,I rushed immediately and then I bumped into her,sorry mama I was just coming to meet you.

"Meet me in my room"

"I tailed behind her" I swear I could tell she looks angry,ya Rabbil izah what did I do this time around,ooh ni Amaani.

"What the hell did I tell you?"she was shouting at the top of her lungs.

"I kept quiet,Cx I swear I have no clue on what she's saying.

"I told you and Zulaiha to fix a date and go apologize to your mum"isn't that  what I told you.

"Today is Thursday,you have just one more day to go back to school"so tell me why didn't you go and apologize to her?"

"It's been two good weeks now,did you even call her?"

"No"I said in a shaky voice.

"And why is that?"

"Wato ke kin isa har an haifo ki ma ko?yaushe ma aka haife ki?ke ce uwarta ko ita ce uwarki ko ke kika haifeta da baza ki kirata ba ,kuma ki bata hakuri(you want to show us that you can do what you feel like they gave birth to you ai  abhi?when did they even born you ?are you her mother or is she your mother that you won't call her and apologize)

"Is that what you will repay me with,Dan ace ni na hanaki zuwa ko?(so they would say I stopped you from going abhi)so they would have an additional insult about me again,so they would say I want to separate you and your mother abhi?have I ever in my life told you not to go visit her if you want to?but no,people will always insult me and think I'm the one who is telling you to do all the bad things,at-least think of me first before you do something,think of what people will say before you do something,at least even if you don't see me as a good person or a good mother just do me this one favor,I'm asking nicely now,you won't be happy if I get angry wllhi,zan bata maki rai,no matter what she's your mother,yes she's your mother and you have nothing to do about it,no matter what don't hold grudges with her,if you think by doing this she will change then wllhi your mistaken she will only be worst, If your parents cause you uneasiness, you should not make them uneasy, and if they beat you up, you should not hurt them. You should pray for them and throw nothing but a look of kindness and affection at them. Your voice should never be raised above theirs, and you should never walk ahead of them.

"It is your mother's right towards you that you should remember that she carried you in her womb for several months and nourished you with the sap of her life. She employed all her essence to keep and protect you. She did not care if she herself went hungry, while you were fed to satiety; or to go thirsty herself, while your thirst was quenched; or to have no clothes, while you were well-covered; or to stay in the hot sun, while you were sheltered; She ignored her sweet sleep and tolerated the pain of sleeplessness for your sake. She protected you against the heat of summer and cold of winter. She bore all that pain in order to have you, and you may have her. You should know that you are unable to thank your mother appropriately unless God helps you and grants you the favour and ability to repay her.In such a case, obeying a mother's order is prior to God's command. For example, if there is a question of jihad (holy war), those who are able to fight the infidels, must take part in the battle, but if a young man possesses all the qualifications for participation in the holy war, except that his mother does not allow him to go (on the condition that his non - participation causes no damage to the Muslims), he can abstain from participation in the war solely because of his mother's prohibition, and decide to stay by her side.

Amaani let me remind you again of the hadiths of the prophet (SAW)because I think shay-tan is trying to possess you "Heaven lies beneath the feet of mothers". (Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said

"To look affectionately and kindly at one's father and mother is devotion."(Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said

"God's satisfaction lies in the consent of parents, and His wrath in their wrath." (Prophet Muhammad (SAW)said

"If you wish God to grant you a long life, make your parents happy." (Imam Sadiq)

When God Almighty, immediately after referring to His own right, speaks about the right of parents.

"Be grateful to Me and to both your parents." (31:14)

There was a time when a man came to the Seal of the Prophets and said: "O Prophet of God! Guide me, to whom should I be good in order to benefit completely from my good deed?"

He said: "Be good to your mother." He asked: "Next to her?"

The Prophet repeated: "Be good to your mother." He said again: "And next to her?"

The Prophet answered: "To your mother."

The man said: To what other person should be good?"

The Prophet said: "To your father."

"Then who are you to not obey and respect your mother?when she has all the rights towards you?And our lord has commanded we shall not serve any but HIM and goodness to our parents"

"If you don't want your lord to be angry at you after all the Hadith's of the prophet (SAW) and verses said from the holy Quran then apologize to your Mother and seek forgiveness from your Lord.

For it was said in the holy Quran "(The Quran, 31:14-15);

"And We have enjoined man in respect of his parents-- his mother bears him with faintings upon faintings and his weaning takes two years-- saying: Be grateful to Me and to both your parents; to Me is the eventual coming. And if they contend with you that you should associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, do not obey them, and keep company with them in this world kindly"

"I'm sure she didn't ask you to disobey your Lord"and for that you should seek forgiveness from Allah and apologize to your parents"Don't let me talk to you about this again,she ended with a straight and disappointed face.

"Inshallah Mama,thank you so much,Allah ya Kara Nisan kwana(May Allah grant you long life)I was at the verge of breaking down,when I don't know how or when I just felt hot tears burning my cheeks"

"When I saw that Mama has no intention of replying me,I stood up and ran to my room"I know our cook Jamila will finish making breakfast.

"My heart is aching with so much pain,I don't know what or how I'm feeling right now,the feeling is toilsome to classify"

"I opened my four drawer combination mosler and picked my diary,there I wrote and cried my heart out and I felt safe,my diary is my weakness,it is my life and everything is written in there,it's my best place of visit and like that I started writing my heart out,

"The heart of a woman goes forth with the dawn,

I closed my diary and changed into a blue and white color atamfa  and an embroidery stone work all over the A gown.i sprayed  my Hypnotic poison Dior vanilla scent perfume,i put some powder-and lip  gloss on my red blooded lips then I added some kohl on my puffy eyes ,I  tied my head tie Zarah buhari's style I wore my blue R&S veil then slipped in my Versace hill shoe and my Dior Saddle Bag on my hand not forgetting my phone,I was heading to the main parlor when I saw all of them having breakfast on the main dinning,I squatted and exchange pleasantries with Abbah,he raised his head and looked up to me,as always I'm not surprised Cx he never asks even after noticing my puffy eyes and red nose,he still wouldn't say a word and it hurts me more,more and more not like everyday,today's pain feels different ,I felt like crying,i stood up and went to where Mama was sitting opposite to Abbah  Mama I'm going but she neither look at me nor say a word....seeing that she ain't going to reply me,i stepped out of the house with a heavy heart then came mallam Audu's voice "Hajia Amaani Fita zaki yi?wacce Motar zaa dauko"(Hajia Amaani are you going out?which car should I bring forward) aa yau zan fita da kaina na kawai ba sai ka kaini ba(no I'm going on my own ,don't mind you don't have to take me out today)bani mukulin motar Aston Martin Valkyrie(give me the car keys of Aston Martin Valkyrie)He handed me the keys and I drove out of the mansion of The "GALADANCI's" I headed straight to ya Zuzu's house.

"I went in and we exchanged pleasantries,the kids went to visit their granny Hajia Asma'u and ya khalil left for office"I sighed heavily.

"Ya zuzu there's a big dilemma"I said before she asked.

"What's the problem?"she sound concerned and eager to know.

"I narrated everything that happened not leaving a single part"she was speechless at first before she spoke.

"If that's the case lemme get ready just two minutes then we will leave for Mummy's house,no  wonder  I saw you with puffy eyes and red nose ,this girl you  love crying wollah"she laughed a little.

whatever it is we will face it together I hope I've made myself elucidate,okay but pls be quick I have a lot to do at home,I cleaned the tears that were about to fall.

"I was long lost in my thoughts" when I heard ya zuzu's voice all full of confidence"let's go

"I raised my eyes to see  a beautiful looking ya zuzu in a purple with black stripes line Abaya that fit her perfectly"mashallah I said.

"Hey I know I'm beautiful the most beautiful babe in the whole of Galadanci's family she said wriggling with her brows"I laughed at the sight.

"Hehehe  you bought iPhone xMax when?i said looking at her new phone"she laughed wholeheartedly.

"Wednesday"she said.

"Ooh yeah imma change my phone soon I can't be using same phone with you"I said teasingly.

"Whatever,you have cash ai yar gidan mai kudi huh!lets go jare"she dragged me to the car.

"Hey hey we going with my car,Imma give you a lift when we done with mum"I winked.

"Wllhi your a fool"she said through gritted teeth.

"Phewwwww and the drama begins now sastra , get ready for the bomb is about to explode"I laughed wickedly.

"Believe me your a big ass fool"

"You know Aunty Maimuna told  me earlier she dey vex  with us,like for real buh I never took any of that  serious"ya Zuzu said with  all seriousness.

"But sha imma see for my eyes"

"You know I'm the big bad ass here Cx I've always made mistake in her eyes and she thinks everything I do is bad and I will never change blah blah blah,so I really don't give a fuck here she never loved me from the start,she was only forced to being my mother"I could feel the bitter pain in her voice.

"Haba don't say that mana,ya know she's just unbelievable at times,I will be the one to receive all the slaps and beating since I'm super close to her"I said with a straight face.

"Yeah yeah mine was worst I was forced to marry a man I never loved babe,wai shi cousin ,Dan gidan Hajia Asma'u(so called cousin,son of Hajia Asma'u)"she said with a straight face.

"By our dearest mother"I completed her words,Cx she always say that.

"I hope yours won't turn out that way"

"You know she said her dearest daughter would agree with her with out any arguments and all blah blah blah"

"Well let's see about that ya Zuzus"I winked

"Her love for you or your love for her"ya zuzu said with a sad smile.

"Phewww Tarauni here we come"I said with a sad smile.

"We are  here" I told ya zuzu.

"And the long journey is about to begin"she said with a small smile.
