Aymaan's POV
It had been a week and she hadn't called me,what bothered me most is the mysterious way I always see her number on my contact but afraid to call,huh maybe Farouq was right,maybe I'm forcing myself on her.I sighed took off my lab coat and settled on the chair.
'AYMAAN' though his heart was filled with doubts,he still believed in her,he still thought about her.
"Hello Doctor I bought you lunch"Nurse fadila stormed into his office excitedly.
"Hello...,I don't feel like having anything"Aymaan replied and dropped his phone angrily.
"What's pissing you off"i dropped the lunch bags.
She stood and walked closer to him-she knew this man so well,she knew what made him angry and sad .
"She hasn't called me Fadila,I don't know...I don't know what to do"he replied
"I don't mean to offend you but forget that lady,she's not serious,she isn't ready for you...if not she would have called you back if she had any iota of interest In you"Fadila's words stormed into my heart,her words made me feel worse,what if she's In a relationship,what if she was building this with someone else?(I thought silently)No she would never do that,I love her so much I can't afford to loose her,I think she needs more space and I'll wait for her.

"Aymaan I need to see you ASAP"came her melodious voice filled with anger.
"Meet me at Aminu kano hospital"and she hung up the call.
"Assalamualikum"she said while storming into the office where her gaze fell on Dr.Rayyan.
"What a surprise huh?how have you been Amaani?"
"Not bad,and what you doing here?"I looked closely and listened to their conversation in surprise.
"Ooh just here to see this young man"She said without sparing me a glare.
"Or perhaps maybe you got a new medical personnel?"Rayyan asked playfully.
"You'll always and forever be my medical personnel doctor Rayyan,so just chill"
"Uhmmmm Aymaan shes the lady I've been talking to you about..."he said looking everywhere at me.
"About what?"i asked in surprise.
"The file,my patients file...AMAANI AMIN NASIR GALADANCHI"
"Amaani his one of the best Neurologist in the whole world,he travels all around the world to help patients like you and more"
"Well...that's nice,but I wouldn't let him treat me I'd-prefer to die"
"You attempted suicide?you have a brain complication due to stress,are you oka...you feeling all right,do you have a headache"I said coming forward to Amaani.
"Hey,I'm alright...and it's non of your business...now let's get done and over with I have a lot of things for the day,understood?"
"Well I'll excuse you two for a moment"Rayyan said and head for the door.
"Are you sure you're a doctor...that a neurologist?"
"Yes of course"
"What's your job?
"To help and save people's life"
"But you kill them dead..."
"And how's that?"
"My friend is suffering...not from a Brain disease but a heart disease and soon her. Brain will be infected which I'm sure you can't save her,she can't be cured cx your the only cure,are you willing to save her life or ruin it for good?"
"I'd do anything to save a patients life but not that cx it ain't my job"
"You are a doctor,and your not meant to help only in the medical field but you can help in any way,and of course you can cx your the only cure...."
"I can't and I do not have the cure"
"An inspirational speaker who wanted to be a doctor and of course it was a dream,a dream which she wanted to be true but you know what she couldn't be a doctor in the medical field but ended up being a doctor in the world of words-an inspirational speaker of course-because words are healing,words are cure...people like Maryam Bukar Hassan a successful poet and an inspirational speaker that the world is proud of...a fearful lady who stands for the people and save those who needs words with her words of inspiration-words of true and not lies,the words that pierce directly into the heart of the world"
"I can't force myself to love her Amaani,you're the one I love and will always love you no matter what,I won't give someone else the love I have for you,it isn't something to joke with,no one is worth it except you"
"Aymaan try at least you can do that for me,for the love you claim to have for me"
"I can't even look at her,all I see is hatred and my heart is in no place to see something different for her"
"She'll pass through it then,I pray it's an infatuation,but remember a good girl is hard to find and if you get somebody in your life,love her or leave her alone,cx once a girl gives up on you their is nothing that can make you bring her back"she said disgustingly and left while banging the door so hard.

It's been a whole full blown month and she didn't call nor let me see her after that day and now I. Feel sick of myself,she is also my cure but she isn't willing to hand over the antidote to the disease just like how I didn't hand it over to Maryam...the name disgusts me!
And now here I am with an annoying fadila who suggests I forget the girl of my dreams and On the other hand a craving mother who wish for her son to get married before she dies ,suggesting all kind of ladies and introducing them to me-but non...non of them look near to my taste.
"I loose my chances back then,I've messed up and fucked other. Girls heart and now I'm paying for my sins"
Love is weird
While some are smiling
Others are crying
Some are love patients
While some don't know how to use the drug

People say love is pure, painful, sweet, and dreadful — all at once. The truth is, love is a basic necessity in everyone's life. Everyone needs to be loved to live a proper and healthy life. Love has various definitions. Ask someone and they will give you their own definition of love. Love is a variety of feelings, emotions, and attitude. For some love is more than just being interested physically in someone, it's an emotional attachment.
Love is more of a feeling that a person feels for another person. People often confuse love and lust. Love means to be deeply committed and connected to someone or something. The basic meaning of love is to feel more than liking towards someone. It is a bond that two people share.
There are a few things you need to avoid when building a new relationship like being too demanding. You need to understand that your partner had a life before you entered. You cannot ask them to give it up, the moment you entered. They have their priorities. Your partner cannot give you attention 24/7. Understand it, respect it. Don't expect them to change their schedule completely for you.
Ultimately, love is accepting the other person for who they are. Encouraging your partner to achieve their dream and respecting each other is true love. True love is a divine feeling that gives a feeling of being complete. It is worth fighting and taking efforts for each other. Love is being there for each other through the thick and thin. Love cannot be defined in words but can be expressed through actions. Love is being someone's strength and love can be found in small gestures.

"Now don't stress yourself,go freshen up and have some rest...we'll talk about this angel who stole your heart tomorrow and left you all heartbroken"

"Pupoooooo"she said making a funny face which brought a light chuckle to my mouth.
"Amaani"I said knowing she wants a name which she didn't get me say that.
"It's a beautiful name"
"I'm off mum.."I said while walking away knowing it's gonna be a long Q AND A with mum.

A little advice on LOVE
Love is never rushing into a relationship
Give time to yourself and your partner. Take things slow. Know their likes and dislikes. Analyze that would you be willing to share a common bond in the following years. Every person has some habits that would be annoying to you. Think — would you be still sharing the same bond when you see the dark side of a person?
Love is not being jealous
There is no room for jealousy and possessiveness in cases where true love is really there. Being protective is a part of a relationship, but there should be a healthy understanding. Being too much involved can make the other person suffocated in the relationship. They may be having an ex with whom they share an understanding as a friend, but it didn't work out when they were dating. That is the reason they moved on and now are with you.
Love is giving yourself a chance
Take your chance!
Just because you both had a conflict in opinion about something doesn't mean things won't work out. Give yourself a chance. Your perception and your partner's perception may differ. Sometimes, that is what makes life exciting!
Love is to stop expecting
Stop expecting doesn't mean to give up on you. But do not expect your partner to do things exactly what you thought they would be doing. It is not right. Your expectations in your relationship may be different from what your partner's expectation of you is. Respect the fact that they are a little different from you. The more you try to change a person and try to make them act according to you, the less attached they will be with you.
Love is to maintaining privacy
With social media readily available to share all your problems and people ready to jump to your rescue, we tend to discuss issues over the internet more than we do in person. Never do that. Maintain privacy in your relationship. Talk out the issues with your partner. Don't use the platform of social media to complain about something that is wrong between you two. A little privacy to your relationship is required.
Love is avoiding misunderstandings
It is easy to have a misunderstanding when you have a conflict of opinion. Try to avoid it. Give a chance to let your partner put forward their point of view. If they are wrong, try talking to them about why you do think are they wrong. Don't jump to conclusions and create a drama. This is very unhealthy to your relationship.
