I MADE A MISTAKE

VINCENT'S POV

I was enjoying every bit of my moments with her. She is bossy, crazy, talks too much and even flirts with me confidently even though I hate her gender but I don't hate her. I was curious to know why she was kicked out of her pack when she's just so good and perfect.

Her body shaped makes my cock gets really hard and I had to act fast and that was why I took her into my bathe. I enjoyed claiming her but immediately the memory of how my ex-wife cheated on me with no regrets came again and I push her off me.

The next morning

The sun that made its way through the curtain keep disturbing me and I was forced to open my eye, It was then I realize a beauty in arms. She looks more beautiful while asleep, I enjoyed watching her sleep peacefully atleast without her mouth running or acting like a boss.

But unfortunately, if I don't get up someone might come in and I don't want anyone seeing her yet until I inform my bestfriend, the beta.

I need Adam opinion on this new thing that is happening to me after years. I'm suddenly weak with one strange woman I don't know.

I adjust steadily away from her but everything went in vain when she cuddle up with me again with her hands on my abs again. Is she asleep or pretending because consciously she is obsessed with my abs and even when sleeping she is imagining touching them?.

I was finally able to get away from her with the help of the pillow I put in place of me. I quickly put on something worth an Alpha and walk out of the room locking the door so she won't escape or meet anyone I don't want her too see.

"Alpha Vincent is here" the guard announced as I walk into the Chamberlain where Adam and her little sister await me. Why is he always bringing this annoying lady to my chamber even after I insist on it.

"Good morning, my king" She bowed her head immediately I walk in.

"And what is she doing here?" I turn to Adam, ignoring her.

"She is my sister" he gave me a glare.

"Whatever, I demand her out of here right now because I have something important to discuss with you" I reply, and stride to sit on my throne.

"Brenda, please excuse us" Adam said, to her sister.

"But.." Brenda tries to cajole.

"I will let you in after we are done talking" He interrupts.

"Okay, brother" Brenda smiled on hearing that, and with one glance at Vincent she left the Chamberlain.

"What's wrong?" Adam sit down.

"I found the rogue" I announces.

"So?. You must have killed the rogue, why are you telling me?" he asks.

"I went back to the forest last night to find the rogue but I saw something else" I adds.

"And what's that? You must have handled it right?" Adam asks, looking at me expecting a quick reply from me.

"Adam, she is the Alpha that got kicked out and she is even sleeping peacefully on my bed right now!" I replied.

"What? Is this some kind of a joke or something?" he asks.

"I'm serious, I tried so hard to hurt her all through the night but it was all in vain. It was as if a power is controlling me, the more I try to hurt her the more I care so much about her" I explained well, probably he would get my point by now.

"This is something I don't understand" He looks at me like I'm some kind of a weirdo.

"Adam, I was try to do a sexual murder and it was then my wolf whispered to me. 'Mate" I confessed, what I was hiding last night.

"This is serious, does she know about this?" He asks.

"No, I lock her in my room so she wouldn't escape" I reply.

"Vincent, it is dangerous to keep her in the palace. She is a rejected alpha and we don't know if it is actually a plan to get to our kingdom. We need to extra careful"

"I have a question though" Adam said,

"What is that?" I asks.

"Isn't your ex-wife was your mate?" Adam asks.

"No, it was just something we both did for love. I don't know what to do and that's why I'm telling you this. Mother, will be so mad at me if she finds out there is a stranger in the palace" I sigh deeply.

"I will send a spy to Silver pack to gather information about her if it is okay by you" Adam suggests.

"That will be good but for now, no one should know about this especially with the fact I've found my real mate" I ordered.

"This is quite unusual" He stares at me with a mischievous grin.

"What?"I asks.

"The great Alpha Vincent now have a weakness. Look at how you are so bent on protecting a lady after so many years of being broken. Whosoever is this lady, I want to meet her and congratulate her for a job well done" He said.

"Cut it out, please" I huffed.

"Yes sir" he replies, sarcastically and we both laugh.

"Anyway, that aside. Why is Brenda here?" I asks.

"I don't either, she just asks me to bring her here after so much please" He reply, with a shrugs.

"Tell her, I don't want to see her" I scoffs.

"But..."

"I am meeting with the Silver pack today even though I won't be making any deal with them after what they did to my mate but I will need someone to keep her in till they leave" I stated.

"What about Brenda?" he chirped in.

"No!" I reject the offer immediately.

"She is my sister, and the only person you can trust your mate for sure. What if the maid leak the secrets out?" He asks.

"You have a point but I won't be doing the talking and don't even tell her, Laura is my mate. Okay?" I ordered.

"Laura, a nice name. Anyway I will do as you say" He replies.

"Good!"

"I will take my leave now" Adam stands to his feet and walk out of the Chamberlain, while I return to my room to change into another cloth meant for the meeting with that stupid pack. I don't even know their new Alpha name.

I open the door, only to find her sitting on the bed staring at me like she is going to tear me apart any minute.

"Why did you lock me in" She yells angrily.

"Good morning" I reply, calmly trying not to fight or argue with her.

"Why the hell did you lock me in here" She yells angrily, getting up from the bed to her feet.

"I am yet to introduce you to anyone which simply means if a soul from this packs finds you then your soul will be gone before I show up" I reply like a gentle man.

"That isn't a solid reason of why you should have locked me in here after what happened..." She stopped talking and look away shyly.

What other way?. Is this lady for real?

"I need a better cloth, I don't like this" She demands, trying not to talk about last night which I really much appreciate because I am not interested either.

"I already asks a friend out, Her sister would be here soon to take care of you while I'm gone. Please, don't leave this room until I show up, Your food will be served too" I explained, but it doesn't seems like she was listening.

"You are leaving me all here alone with a stranger?" She asks, looking so bothered.

"Don't worry, you will be fine and..." I notice her staring at me with those eye from the forest.

"What's wrong?" I asks.

"Are you really Alpha Vincent?. Like, I was kicked out of the park because of you. I heard rumors about you killing rogues, hate woman, gets angrily easily, hates to love but why do you care about me?" She asks, I swallow down a bit processing what to say.

"What do you mean you got kicked out because of me?" I asks, ignoring all her blabbered statement.

"Nothing, I don't want to talk about it" She reply,

"I'm interested" I adds.

"Nothing serious, I was kicked out because I wasn't capable as a Alpha female after my father deaths" She lied.

I was hurt, when I figure out she is capable of lying to me after all I did to protect her from the hands of the evil. I don't think she knows about my awareness of why she was kicked out of the park. To me, she made the right decision because I would have ripped her apart at the Chamberlain if this hasn't happened.

"I'm meeting with the silver park and the meeting will take a while" I said, to her.

"Silver park are coming here?"She asks, excitedly.

"Why are you so happy?" I asks.

"They are my people and..."

"More reason I will treat them a dust bag for treating you like this after all you did for them" I interrupts.

"Are you crazy?. They did nothing to me and..."

"This is my land and I rule this place not you. If you don't want to lose your soul then mind how you talk to me. If you may excuse me, I need to get dressed for my meeting" I left her standing with her still staring in shock.

I'm Alpha Vincent, I will never lose myself or my title to my weakness. An Alpha shouldn't have a weakness or the whole community is at risk as it can be used against them anytime.

"I miss my lover, Axel and I don't know if he would be here but if he shows up can you allow me meet him. Please. He is a warriors but he follows the Alpha to meetings with another Alpha" She said, not looking at me.

My fist clenches into balls, when she mentioned her lovers name but I played it cool.

"You are meeting no man" I declare.

"Please" She face me and went on her kneels, I look so shocked to see Laura beg to meet her lover.

"What's his name?" I asks.

"Axel" She replies, immediately.

"Thanks for the information" I reply and lean down to give her a peck on the lips, I grab a robe and held my dress properly before walking out of the room with an evil smirk on my face. How dare another man tries to share my own heart with me, so much confidence to have been an enemy like me.

I can be extremely dangerous and desperate when I don't get what I yearn for and that will land me in serious trouble one day. I'm never letting Laura out of my sight or meet with any man.

I still can't believe she was having an affair with a warriors and still yet claims to be a virgin to me.

Whosoever that warriors she is dating his, I will make sure I slit his throat.

"I'm here my King" Brenda voice interrupts me as I lock the door.

"Very good, I want you to take care of that young lady and make sure she doesn't leave your sight, okay?"

"Can I go in now?" She asks.

"No female is allowed to my room, all I need you is to bring cloth and food for her then guard the room till I'm back"I reply, her happy face wipes off instantly.
