THE BLOOD PACK

Vincent just finished having his breakfast when his best friend and beta entered looking so mad and agitated.

“I can’t believe those people can be so cruel” he took a chair for himself.

“Adam, what is it again”

“They removed their alpha and appointed someone else”he announced.

“I heard she is a female, she deserved it” Vincent replied unmoved.

“You don’t need to be heartless just because of what your ex wife did to you”he scoffed.

“You don’t know, she might be removed because she was sleeping around.” he insisted.

“I heard it’s because she refused to sign treaty with you” he said.

“I won’t have signed that shit, that pack is filled with selfish and greedy people."

“I couldn’t agree more but that doesn’t mean they should remove their Alpha” He insisted.

“That is their problem, I want to go for a run today, do you want to join me?”

“You know I will never miss running with you” he smiled.

“And you know I will always beat you” Vincent replied laughing hard.

"And before I forget, get a leash on that sister of yours” he warned.

Adam knew of his sister's obsession with the Alpha and he had warned her but she will never listen.

“What has she done this time around?.” Adam asked.

“I know what I would have done on a norms but I am trying to control myself because of you” he said.

“Do you think my sister will hurt you just like she does?” he asked.

“Don’t push it Adam, I don’t want any woman in my life and those rogues better not come in contact with me because my face is the last thing they will see” he growled.

“Fine, let’s go for that run” he said, trying not to get him mad or raise an old matter up.

"But please take it easy on me”he added.

“We haven’t started running and you are scared already” Vincent laughed.

“I'm not” he defended himself.

“I can see that” Vincent pushed him aside and rushed outside.

“Hey, that is cheating” Adam laughed at his friend's childish behavior

Adam knew how hurt his friend was, he wondered why Jessica cheated on him with an ordinary rogue on their bed, she was Vincent's childhood sweetheart but she never cared and this made Vincent angry and heartless to kill any rogue on sight and doesn’t respect any woman again.

Vincent was feeling stressed lately, he still hadn't gotten over what Jessica did to him, he had showed her love and given his heart to her but she wasn’t contended and chose that rogue over him and even chose to go with him.

He changed into his wolf form and sprinted into the wood, his wolf was big with brown color and green eyes, he saw a black wolf beside and he knew it was his beta, his wolf is also big but not as big as his.

"Are you ready?” he mind link Adam.

“You know I am born ready” he replied back with a grin.

Vincent's wolf love challenges and he couldn't wait to prove to him how much runner he can be even though he had won against him several times.

“My wolf couldn’t agree more” he replied him before they start to race against each other.

“I am certain he beats you today again” Brenda said seeing the two male walk in after a long day at the forest trying to beat each other to a race.

“I let him win every time because I don’t want to deflate his ego” Adam said before walking to the kitchen.

He grabbed two bottles of water before coming back, he threw one at Vincent which he caught.

“You won’t be able to win again this abs” Brenda said touching his chest.

Vincent grabbed them roughly making her whine in pain and Adam rushed to separate them.

"Don’t ever touch me in your life if you don’t want your hand to be cut off!” he growled loudly at her making her scared.

“Relax man, she didn't mean it that way” he carefully said not wanting to provoke the agitated Alpha more.

“Keep her away from me” he released her hand and walked away from them.

“What is your problem Brenda, I've warned you several time” he said frustrated by his sister's behavior.

“I love him brother, you should be helping me” she checked her wrist and saw that she had bruises on them

“You are wasting your time and I won’t be there every time to save your sorry ass.” he warned her

“I can mend his broken heart” she insisted.

“Move on, find another man or better still wait for your mate”

“I don’t want someone else, he is the only person I love."

“Don’t you like your head intact?."

“You won’t understand”

“Maybe I will understand when he gets you killed” he knew Vincent hadn't hurt her because of their relationship but he don’t know how much long he can keep it together before he strikes.

“You aren’t encouraging at all brother!” she stomped her legs on the ground angrily.

“I am saving you because you are my only sister” he replied.

“I will change him, I will let him see what he is missing” Brenda adamantly said

“ I have tried my best,” he gave up “I need to go take a shower before I join the Alpha.”

“Do you want me to bring you guys lunch?” she asked with hope in her eyes.

Adam shook his head knowing his sister was only going to infuriate Vincent.

“There is no need for that Brenda and you better give up" He warned her again, because he wouldn't be able to stop his friend if things gets rough.

“I am not giving up” she answered

"I am going shopping with Victoria anyway” She added.

“It better not be my card” he warned.

“Don’t worry, I won’t buy too many things” she grinned.

“You are a werewolf Brenda, why do you need much clothes”

“I am still a lady and I need to look good especially if I want Vincent to see me."

“You better not let him hear you call him that, he doesn’t joke with his title.”

“ But you call him that every time.", she whined.

“Don’t tell me you are still with your sister, we have a lot of work to do today” he heard Vincent in his head.

“My attention is needed, I have to go” he told his sister before leaving her to herself.

He wished his sister could listen to him before he tears her apart out of rage.
