"Arrrrrhgh" I screamed immediately I was away from Warren and inside my room

"How dare she? How dare that bitch touch what was mine?"

I felt fury and jealousy overwhelm me and it made me think of nothing but murdering her.

I wanted to strangle Quinn so bad at the moment but all I could settle for was just my pillow.

"Kayden. How could he do that to me? I loved him with all my heart. Way more than that damaged and pregnant tramp could ever do."

I have really done a lot for Kayden and he still didn't see me.

He had never seen me.

Kayden had never been one for weak and helpless girls since when I knew him so why was Quinn different. I had changed myself totally for him by training on how to fight day in and day out. I tried my best to learn from whoever and whatever I could on how to manage a pack. I started making myself friends with all those wretched peasants so they could at least tell Kayden that I was the perfect person for him.

I played the perfect angel for Kayden and anyone who had eyes and they all believed me. Even with all that it just wasn't enough to move him as he kept on waiting for his mate.

I hoped so much to be mated with Kayden but the disappointment was so intense when I learnt I was mated with that wimp that was always trying to please his mother.

I felt so infuriated when I found out and outright refused to accept him. I even said some cruel things that I think destroyed his morale and self-confidence. I was totally out of it for days and refused to take a step out of my room.

When I finally decided to step out for some fresh air, that was when Ryan had come with his Beta and took me by force. All the fighting skills I had learned was no match for an Alpha, wimpy or not.

From that day, my torture in the hands of that imbecile started. He used me sexually, as a punch bag as a means of entertainment just because I refused to accept him and I kept Kayden on my mind.

I had become withdrawn and lost all hope, well that was until Kayden showed up and told me that he had come to save me.

I remembered when he came to the cell that I was being held captive, I almost couldn't believe my eyes and I thought that isolation had made me start seeing illusions.

When I confirmed that he was the one, I was so happy that my love had finally found me after all these years.

Once he broke the news to me about him finding his mate though, I almost went crazy with bloodlust. I hadn't given up on loving him all these years and when I finally had him come save me, it was because of his mate.

The urge to kill that bitch was edged in my mind but I needed to get out of the cell first so I continued playing the saint. I figured that I could get him to save me if I played my cards well so I told him that he shouldn't care about and old and outdated friend like me over is actual mate.

I also told him that I was Ryan's mate so he would realize what a monster I had to put up with and realize that I was in dire need for help. I later discovered that I made an error in my plans because even after the whole sob story, he didn't pick me over his mate and told me that he would come back for me.

He even went ahead to tell Ryan that I snitched and told him that he was my mate. Ryan was furious and he even wanted to kill me for ruining his plan. I was the one that begged and convinced him that we could work together to achieve our goal of sowing discord amidst the couples.

He didn't agree at first but after a failed attempt at a plan I presume, he came crawling back and we formulated a plan.

I knew that Kayden was really smart and he might figure out a loophole in my story but I was really desperate to meet Kayden that I didn't really care about it.

I heard that she was an abused puppy that was really insecure and not quick to trust people so I knew exactly where to dig at. When I saw that bitch coming down the stairs, I had purposely hugged Kayden tightly and expressed my appreciation for him loving me.

As expected, she reacted badly and a mental breakdown form what I heard and boy did that give me immense joy.

I tried to approach Kayden after that but he sure wasn't budging and even tried to create his distance between me and him. He had accepted anything that hag had told him and I was sure that he wanted to distance himself from me under her orders.

He had even accepted that bastard child that she had inside her and it annoyed me to the core. If only I was his mate, he would have accepted me by hook or by crook.

That really bugged me and I was thinking of ways to break them apart when Warren approached me.

He told me that he knew that I was in love with Kayden as well as the fact that I had made a deal with Ryan to break them apart. I was filled with fear that the Beta that respected Kayden so much would go and spill the beans to him but he had surprised me by telling me that he wanted to work with me.

He said that I just needed to report all that Ryan told me to do to him first and he would tell me how to proceed.

I didn't want to agree but seeing as I didn't have a choice and it wasn't a bad deal for me, I accepted it without really thinking it through.

I noticed that even with the numerous partnerships, Kayden and Quinn were getting closer so once I had the chance, I spread the rumor that the Luna was a witch and that other witches that were related had been allowed to stay in the Pack house. Soon the elders called Quinn in but Kayden had fought for her. He even went against his own father to support Quinn and that really bugged me.

I needed a way to get closer to him so I asked for a position by his side but he didn't want to give it to me so I tried guilt and sympathetic approaches but it was all for naught. I had no choice but to betray Ryan and reveal the big secret I had of him just to get him to agree.

Once he did, I used that excuse to finally hug him but that bitch came in and ruined everything. She even had his marks and hickeys that was supposed to be for me on her body.

They had already mated and now they were closer than before.

I don't know why my life won't just go the way I planned it out to be.

I really wished for the love of my life to be my mate but it wasn't what I wanted that I got and now I had to fight a puny witch for a position of Luna.

Everything I had ever done had no effect whatsoever against their relationship and it truly bugged me so much. By hook or by crook, I was going to tear them apart even if I had to kill Quinn or that useless unborn baby of hers.

I screamed once more as I hurled the vase in my hand at the wall and I collapsed on my bed and started sobbing.

As I was sobbing, I heard the sound of the room door opening and I looked up expecting to see Warren but the person who I saw was the woman who had arrived yesterday.

Quinn's mother.

I immediately became alert and weary of her because she didn't give me the vibe of a kind mother that she had portrayed yesterday.

"What do you want?" I asked cautiously.

"well not much but its something that has your best interest at heart." She replied and I eyed her with suspicion

"What could Quinn's mother possibly offer me?"

"Well what if I say that I can give you Kayden on a platter of gold"

"What? What do you mean? Isn't she your daughter?"

"Yes she is but you don't need to know why"

" okay, if I help you, what do you want in return?"

"Well I want Quinn Dead" she replied

"What? You want your own daughter dead? Well this has just taken a very interesting turn" I said with a smirk.
