I just don't believe that I'm following him as if admiring the beauty around me. This palace is just out of the world, I mean it's just I couldn't express in the words. It's different from Petrenion castle and here it's dark as if no source of light. Only a ray of light came from one corner and it illuminates the whole palace.

The maids here are too weird as if they are possessed with something like drug. The way they look at you is very dangerous and the silence is killing me. I don't know with whom he is going to introduce me and he referred to them but I don't know why but I don't feel like asking him.

I could feel him giving a glance at me time to time while walking but it was to understand what I feel right now. Actually saying I don't feel anything expect some kind of uneasiness as I'm in the supernatural world and here anything can happen. Xeres hasn't told me anything about him being vampire but I know he already knew that I'm aware of the truth so silence is the only way to make me clam.

When we walk through a long corridor we enter a room with antique sofas and the rich carpets sprawl on the floor. We weren't alone in that room there were other too. This room seems to be some kind of gathering room as all of them were engage in their conversations.

"Hello everyone. Today's guest has arrive." Xeres said in a authoritative voice and gave a beautiful smile to me.

As if to show respect all of the people stand and gave a beautiful smile. There were altogether 10 people all with their partners in a best dress. They were staring at me as if I was some alien. Yeah for them I'm alien with their food so I feel uncomfortable with their gaze although they weren't showing their fangs.

By their appearance they all seem to be vampires and they were quite beautiful. It was also one of their features that I think I became friends with Xeres. I adore him but I don't have intense feelings for him.

"Oh! Honey you're so gorgeous. I'm Amelia by the way." One of the blonde came forward and engulf in a hug.

"Thank you. I'm Ukrine Texel. Nice to meet you Amelia." I said in my best voice not sounding scared.

"Guys come and introduce yourself. Don't make her feel uncomfortable. Your gaze is making her afraid." Amelia said going towards other people and holding the hand of one of the male with whom she was sitting before.

"Ukrine you don't have to feel uncomfortable they're my family and they like you. Don't you guys?" Xeres said in his deep voice taking me towards the sofa.

"Of course we're happy to meet her after so many years. Now finally we can see you happy." One of the lady said standing from her seat and coming towards me.

"I'm Laura. He is Ron my mate. We are glad you came here." She said pointing towards her mate.

I haven't know that they too have mate. I wanted to ask how vampire can be matted to werewolf as Xeres wants Wein to be his mate before but I just wave it off. I too get to know others name as Luca, Erin, Troy, David, Lily, Rain and Dawn. I shake hands with male and hug female.

When Erin was hugging me I could find her teeth grazing at my neck. For a second I thought she would bite me and I was stiff but then she broke the hug and smirk at me.

I took the seat beside Xeres and drinks were served but I refuse to take as I don't drink alcohol. I also got to find that they were all couple as mate and they are years old but younger than Xeres. They spoke with high respect with Xeres and it's because he is the king. They were his sister and cousins and definitely vampires.

"You must wait and see how wonderful it would be to be in today's party." Amelia said with great enthusiasm.

I got to know that today they had a ceremony to celebrate and after that a party will begin. It's always celebrated once in twelve years which makes them to interact with different vampires.

"It would be great but I shall leave. I was here for lunch though." I said in a low voice.

"No. You need to attend today ceremony and I'm inviting you. Xeres might have forgotten to tell you." Dawn said with a bright smile.

"Yeah Ukrine. You must stay and I will talk to your dad and tell him about the ceremony. You can also stay tonight if you don't want to leave late night." Xeres said looking intensely at me.

"But..." I was cut of by Amelia saying that this shouldn't be miss and I must watch it. I tried to reason out but this stubborn vampire made me to agree.

"Okay, then let's go and look out for dress." Erin said with not so happy voice and we follow her to where I don't know.

"Oh! Ukrine. You're looking so pretty. That's the reason he is swoon over you." Laura said with a bright smile.

Indeed I was looking beautiful in a pink ball gown and my hair was let to fall. They too were looking beautiful and they take me to the hall. The ceremony ended in two hour and I find it quite strange but I just observe their ritual and act like a guest.

The party began afterwards and Xeres introduce me to his people. There were lot of people in the ceremony but the party was for only elites. I don't know why he introduced me to them but it was good to know about them. I was glad they don't bite me and suck my blood.

"Hello, Ukrine. Nice to meet you again." Serenity said with a teasing look.

I just nod and gave a halfhearted smile. At first I was shocked to see her here and talk with Xeres. But he told me that she was his friend and he had invited them. It's quite to hear him say a werewolf as his friend but I just nod.

"..no I'm with the Anord. He is busy with others." I hear Serenity said to one of the lady as I was passing by.

"Love just make everything possible even when we are not mates." The lady replied and that made me to feel a certain pain in my heart.

"Love" I thought Anord love me but it was only me who love him. Yeah I love him all this time and that's why I stay there. The bitter truth stab my heart and I feel a lone tear escape from my eyes.

Why Anord? Why didn't you love me? But her. I look at Serenity and see her smiling like a love struck teenager and then I left the hall as I don't want to see the one whom I love.
