"Sounds like a plan." Alpha Nathan answered him with a smile on his lips.

"Yes, it sounds like a good idea." Alpha Mason replied next as Luna Kat nodded in response.

"Yeah, let's go." Luna Kasey added with a smile too while Alpha Wyatt, Alpha Sloan and Luna Hailey only nodded their heads in response. Luna Ashley just forced a smile on her face as she started walking with us. I didn't trust her coming with us, but I couldn't protest since she was Alpha Wyatt's mate.

Alpha Clause stepped closer to me as he took my hand in his, interlacing our fingers as we made our way towards the Forbidden Forest which we could see from a distance. I glanced at his face to see him smiling at me as he stared at me and I blushed at the intensity of his gaze, but smiled back at him.

Our moment was broken by Luna Ashley as she said, "Luna Fay, I think that the red headed vampire likes you a lot since he even calls you mon amour."

I knew that she wanted to start drama, so I just smiled at her as I replied, "It doesn't matter, I am a mated shewolf and I will kick his ass if he tries anything with me."

That made the men laugh and Alpha Sloan whistled as he commented, "Whoa! Fiesity! You really know how to pick them, Clause."

Alpha Clause chuckled too as he looked proud of me, "I didn't pick her, but fate did and I wouldn't have it any other way. Fay is special in her own way which makes her precious to me."

"Awe, you're so sweet, honey." I commented as I held my hand over my chest, looking at him with a large smile touching my lips.

"No, you're sweeter, baby." He murmured as he leaned his head closer to pressed a kiss on my cheek, making butterflies flutter in my tummy.

"Oh, you two are so cute!" Luna Kat exclaimed as she gushed at us.

Alpha Mason nodded, laughing lightly as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and added, "Yes, they are. That was how we were when we first met each other. We couldn't get our hands off of each other."

"You still can't get your hands off of each other!" Luna Kasey said with a small laugh as Alpha Nathan had his arm wrapped around her waist.

We all laughed and Luna Kat grinned as she retorted, "You two can't either, but then that's the beauty of being true mates."

I knew that Luna Kat didn't mean to make a jab at Luna Ashley, but that statement seemed to make Luna Ashley frown as she crossed her arms against her chest. She looked away while Alpha Wyatt also seemed to notice her reaction and frowned as he stared at her. I didn't see why she should be upset when Luna Kat was only speaking what was on her mind.

He took her hand in his as he muttered, "Come on, you know that she didn't mean it that way. She wasn't even talking about you, just being honest."

The other Alphas and Lunas including Luna Hailey and Alpha Sloan quieted down as they seemed to realize what was going on. Luna Kat didn't apologize nor did she get angry, she only kept quiet and faced forward as we all continued walking. Luna Ashley shook her at her mate as she muttered back, "Why don't you be on my side for once?"

Alpha Wyatt looked speechless as he stared at her. He kept quiet and so did everyone as the air around us became dense. I glanced at Alpha Clause to see a thoughtful look on his face as if he were thinking about something. I looked back at our path to see that we were almost there.

The forest looked dense with tall trees and shrubs. It also looked dark even though it was in the afternoon. It was quiet too as I didn't hear any chirping of birds or other animal noises. How could a forest be quiet? I was guessing that it was because it was a magic forest.

"We're here." Alpha Mason announced as soon as we reached the edge of the forest. He glanced at the Lunas as he said, "Why don't you shewolves stay here while we go into the forest to bring back the Mirror of Wisdom in the lake of Eversea?"

"I can't accept that as I came all the way here to go with my Alpha mate and all of you into the Forbidden Forest. We need each other to survive since the more, the merrier." I answered him in a firm voice as a small concerned frown fell on my brows.

"I agree with Luna Fay, I came here to go through this with you, not to sit back and watch. So I'm going in too!" Luna Kat agreed as she looked at her Alpha mate with determination.

"I'm going in too!" Luna Kasey added as she stepped forward with a firm nod.

Seeing that everyone was going in, Luna Hailey let out a sigh as she nodded, "Me too."

Everyone looked at Luna Ashley, expecting her to say that she was going in too, but she looked surprised that they all looked at her with expectation. However, I knew that she didn't want to go in just from how she has been acting from the moment they arrived at the pack house this morning. She forced a smile on her lips as she said, "And of course, I'm going in too. We have to support and protect each other as mates!"

"Exactly." Alpha Wyatt agreed as he looked at her with appreciation and admiration in his eyes.

"Fine, let's all go in then even though I'll be worried about all of you Lunas safety half the time." Alpha Mason sighed as he nodded.

Alpha glanced at me before looking back at Alpha Mason as he replied to him, "Yes, it would be hard not to be worried, but let's trust our mates a little more and try our best to protect them."
