Chapter 17: Chapter 17
The fear of Alpha Clause losing her may have brought his wolf out. Fay smiled in further reassurance to him.
His gaze moved to her lips then flickered up to her eyes as his own lips quirked up in a smile. He leaned his head closer to hers and pressed his lips against hers.
After having another mating session, they both showered and had breakfast with the pack members. Brittany kept her head down the whole time while Betta Connor was quiet as they ate. The other werewolves there noticed the tension and also didn't engage in conversation.
Some of them must have heard Brittany and Beta Connor begging the Alpha and Luna for forgiveness. Rachel and Bailey also didn't talk, only Ron, Riley and a few kids in the pack whispered amongst themselves. After breakfast,Alpha Clause left to go to his sturdy.
He had to work everyday since being an Alpha was equal to being a president in human lands. He was such a great Alpha, he always put his pack first before himself. Fay thought as she walked towards Bailey after she had stood up from the table.
Fay had arranged with her that she would give her tour of the inside of the mansion that morning. Bailey also stood up from her chair at the table and grinned at her. "I hope you had a wonderful night, Luna."
Fay smiled back at her as she thought of her night together with the Lycan Alpha, "Yes, we did indeed, but something not so wonderful happened this morning."
When Bailey heard that and saw Fay's face drop, she felt anxious as she asked, "Does it involve Brittany and Beta Connor? They were acting awfully quiet and too timid throughout breakfast."
"Yes, Brittany led Alpha Clause with her to her room, claiming she needed his help urgently. She denied my help which made me suspicious and I followed them. I found her throwing herself at him while he pushed her away."
Bailey gasped, raising her hand to her lips, "Oh no, that b*tch! How dare she try stealing your mate and the Alpha?"
Fay nodded with a sigh, "I know, and I almost left and stopped being Luna, but Alpha Clause stopped me."
"Aw, that's so sweet of him. He loves you so much already, of course, he can't let you go." Bailey gushed in awe.
Fay laughed, "I know, and the attraction between us is insane."
"So tell me he punished her at least since she is still in the pack, and how is Beta Connor involved?"
"He was going to kick her out, but Beta Connor intervaned and begged him on his knees with her. I mean, I will have to be a cruel Luna to let them beg like that and still let them be kicked out."
"So you also intervened and told Alpha Clause to let her stay?" Bailey asked with raised eyebrows in question.
Fay sighed, "Yes, even though I don't like her for what she has been doing to me. But he said that if she tried anything like that again then she will be kicked out together with Beta Connor no matter what."
"Wow, what in the world made Beta Connor get involved like that?"
"I think that there is something between them."
"Oh yeah, everyone is talking about how he seems to always be around her since last year's Mating Ceremony."
Fay's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "Maybe they are mates, but don't want anyone to know?"
Bailey looked surprised at Fay's statement, "But in that case, why would she throw herself at Alpha Clause? And we all know that she has been trying to get close to him these past few years. Even when I came first came here, she wanted me to stay away from him. Saying that he was hers even though he never acknowledged her."
"That sounds like obsession."
Bailey laughed, "Yes, it does. She should get the hint that he is not into her or will ever be since he has you now."
"Let's hope that she gets that hint then." Fay smiled, and looked around to see that were the only ones that were standing in the dining room. Everyone else had gone on their way.
Talking about what happened that morning had almost made her forget why she had approached Bailey in the first place. She turned back to Bailey, "So how about that indoor tour?"
Bailey's eyes widened in surprised "Oh yeah! I forgot. Sorry about that. Let's go now, but where do you want to go first?"
"I heard that there's a game room, let's go there first. I want to kick some zombie butt." Fay said, and Bailey laughed, looping her arm through Fay's.
"Let's go kick some zombie butt!" Bailey exclaimed as she continued laughing, and Fay laughed with her.
They made their way to the hallway before walking into one of the doors there. It led them to a staircase and they climbed up to reach a whole other floor. They saw a snack room, a training room with halograms with some pack members training there, and then the game room.
Bailey opened the door and let go of Fay's arm. Fay walked into the game room with her and gasped. Several gaming equipment filled the room. There's an Xbox, games with virtual reality, games with sticks, with controls, all kinds of games. It was game heaven.
That was where they spent the afternoon, and as they walked out, they met Alpha Clause right outside the door. His lips qurkes up in a small smile when his gaze landed on Fay. Bailey greeted him, looking down, "Alpha."
He glances at her and nodded, "Leave us, we have a date planned."
"Yes, Alpha." She replied, and turned to Fay who glanced at her, saying, "I will see you tomorrow."
Bailey smiled, "Alright, bye."
She turned around and made her way to the stairs to go down. Fay turned back to Alpha Clause to see him standing right in front of her.
Alpha Clause took Fay's hand, still smiling, "The cinema is right over there."
He looked over to the room next to the game room that she hadn't entered yet, and Fay followed his gaze. "Okay, let's go."
