Chapter 335: Chapter 335

Reader Discretion Advised....

"Not as much as I would have liked, Boss," Doll replied in a sultry manner as she strutted into the very colourful room she had come to know as home for the time she had spent with the Boss. It was as if the Boss had a fetish with humanoid Dolls with which she fit in perfectly, and Doll played her part well to be considered as the Boss’ partner.

Doll was very grateful to this man and considered him her saviour. True to his words, he had let her have her way with Brianna... sooner than she had expected. She had only casually mentioned this once and had never even expected a chance like that to ever drop in her heart.

Doll’s most profound grievance in what she had experienced was to give an eye for an eye, just as Brianna had ordered done to her. However, there was a thrill to the fact that she had stood in front of her former mistress and made her feel a sense of despair!

Doll did not hold it to Boss for her initial treatment with his men. They had a job to do, and they had done it perfectly. The same men now had to bow to her when they saw her. Deep down, that stigma still remained in Doll. It had taken her a few weeks before she mustered the courage to step foot outside, but with Boss by her side, she knew that she was all right. However, she had a role to play and took that as seriously as possible.

The Boss was also very generous.... In so far as she did what she was told.

"Why? Did something unexpected happen? Did you not have the chance to vent your anger on her?"

"I don’t think it is worth it for me to spend any more of my time on her, but I felt it best for her to experience the exact treatment she has put me and many others through in our lives. What better way to show someone that something hurts than to let them experience that themselves!"

Boss pulled Doll so she went on her knees before him. He guided her head on his lap and gently tapped her back.

"Get her ready to leave by late evening..." Boss instructed someone else from her back, just as Doll heard a shuffle of feet and the person left.

"She’s leaving so soon?"

"The sooner, the better...."

"Whom did the Miss offend?" Doll asked as she straightened herself and batted her lids at him,

"Nothing for you to worry your pretty head about, my Doll...."

Doll sighed and smiled,

"Why do you call me like that? Makes me feel old."

Doll started, earning her a dissatisfied grunt from the man, but she knew how to handle him very well.

".... Just old enough for him. To me, the older and the more mature, the better!"

"Why do I feel your mouth is getting sweeter than honey?"

"...only for you, Boss!"

Doll placed her head back on his lap, contented. Brianna was already forgotten. Doll had a new life, and after seeing how humiliated Brianna was, remembering the injuries on her body, she couldn’t be happier.

Doll knew that the Boss hardly ever handled issues himself unless they were from a more powerful person, but those were details that she did not care about. She was happy with how things had turned out.

"We got a hit, Sir, ma’am. Miss Brianna’s phone has come on! It was last located in the suburbs...."

Abram and Abi shot up to their feet. Their eyes were bloodshot, and only the heavens knew how stressed the two were.

They rushed to look over the shoulders of the two people who were working on tracking their daughter down. After an inadequate sleep overnight, they had rushed all around the island as best as possible with some of the men who worked for them to no avail.

There was a digital team on standby who were also trying to retrace Brianna’s tracks using her digital trail, but that also seemed to have disappeared, as if their daughter had never existed. That was until this crack.

"Quick! Trace it! Find out where she is!"

The two men typed furiously for what looked like hours to the Mush couple, but it was barely a few minutes before they stopped typing simultaneously and looked at each other.

These two were considered the best of the best when it came to digital works, but they were indeed not much for their opponent. Of course, they did not know this little fact yet.

"We lost the trace...."

The room went dead silent.

"YOU DID WHAT?!!!! WHAT ARE WE PAYING YOU FOR IF YOU CANNOT TRACE A SINGLE THING FROM MY DAUGHTER!"

Abi fumed and Abram left the room.

He pulled out a cigar.... A habit that he had quit decades before and, without hesitation, lit it up. Abram paced for a long time as he allowed himself to be clouded by the nicotine smoke.

It took him about half an hour before he returned, and the two computer geeks seemed to have met their god when they saw him.

Abi’s scolding and off-shedding of her frustration nearly brought the two men to tears. However, they had taken the very generous payment upfront and signed a confidentiality agreement, so they had no option but to bear it.

Abram walked to his wife and held her in his embrace. He could see how angry she was from the way her knuckles were clenched and how white they were. The two people did not know that Abi was an inch away from taking their lives. Abram holding her in his embrace was half to comfort her and half to keep her from doing something that would derail their efforts at that time.

"What can you do with that brief signal that was intercepted?"

One man slumped down, while the other let out a relief at seeing the leeway out for them.

"We were able to pinpoint the approximate location, but it’s too much of a large surface for her to search and comb through. It-"

"That’ll do! Send me those details!"

The two answered in relief and returned to their chairs.

The message was sent to Abram’s phone, and he turned to lead his anxious wife out of the room. The tables had turned, and the level-headed spouse was on edge while the casual one had taken the mantle.

Abram and his wife sped along the highways in search of their daughter, but no sooner had they done that when they met another major setback, to their disbelief.

Brianna was battered, bruised and cold. She lay there as her life flushed in front of her eyes. She had always been the proud Brianna Mush, but how did she turn out like that? A plaything for men and women alike? It had only been less than a day since this nightmare started, but it felt like every hour was equivalent to a year.

Brianna was tired but her eyes remained cold when a particular friend flushed behind her closed and swollen eyelids.

’This was all because of Shelby! That witch!’ She clenched her fists and winced from the pain.

Brianna tried to open her eyes, but they were swollen shut. She had no doubts that she looked worse than the maid on her screensaver—the one who galvanized around her and made the men treat her that way.

’Was this how she felt that day?’ A small voice at the back of her mind said to her but Brianna brushed it aside. She was BRIANNA and no one could compare.

She bit her lips as tears run down. Brianna had screamed out until she couldn’t. She had called out for her parents, but they had also let her down.

’I hate them too!’ She thought as she vowed that her parents, Shelby and even Ava would pay for the ordeal that Doll and Ian had put her through.

Every inch of her body hurt so bad that she faded into a deep sleep to escape the pain.

When she came to, she still could not open her eyes, but she was on a hard plank with a sack covering her. The plank swayed lightly as if it were on water. Brianna was still in pain, as no one had attended to her. She was tired and hungry but could not even move. She used all her efforts to curl up and then drifted off to slumber again. Sleep was good as it helped her escape reality.

This went on for what felt like days before rough hands grabbed her.

Brianna opened her mouth to scream but could not.

The hands carried her off something, but she wasn’t sure until it registered: ’Where have they taken me? Why am I on a ship?’

Her voice was too hoarse for her to scream. Brianna was naked, but no one minded to even give her a thin cloth.

After a few minutes, she was thrown and hit a wall, causing a painful grunt to leave her.

Her head spun so badly that even though she heard people talking, she could not hear what was said.

She slipped into another slumber not long after that.

Brianna turned with difficulty and finally cracked an eye open.

"I know you must be in pain, but a word of advice. It’s everyone for himself here. You only eat as much as you work. If you don’t want to sleep on the bare floor naked, muster the courage to work as hard as you can, and your situation can improve."

Brianna stared at the man blankly. It was weird to talk to a man like that, but anything suggestive was far from their minds.

"You better go over there and pick one of the clothes before they finish. Believe me, you will go around holding that sack over your body for the next few months if you don’t! I’ve said my due!"

He looked around to check if anyone had seen him before he took off, adding, "I’m Marvin! I have a feeling you’ll be seeking me out soon!"

Even though she did not want to, Brianna dragged herself to that corner and found some tattered clothes that even her maids would not wear. She had no choice. She picked one up and slipped it over her head. That was when she looked at her surroundings, and Brianna wept!
