Chapter 39: Chapter 39

I was still angry at how Moi killed the alpha of the ranger pack after I just told him to go warn them but what would I do, he's part of my most trusted member and I've also promised myself that I won't hurt my member untill they do something unforgivable. Moreover it's not worth it.

As I stroll through the garden, I wore my gloves to take care of any plant I see out of place or needs my attention. I'm not the one tending to the garden. I don't even have that time. Moreover the garden is too large for one person to tend talk more of busy me, but if I'm in it and I see anything that should be done which I can do, I'll go ahead and do it.

As I was doing my thing and thinking along, I saw a guard approach me. When he got to me, he didn't even say anything, he just bowed.

"What business do you have with me?" I asked him.

He then stretched forth a letter to me. I gave it a questioning frown and I asked.

"From who?"

"The ranger lady" he replied.

" Oh" I said with interest.

I took the paper and wondering what the girl wants this time. I couldn't help but to chuckle when I remembered the expression she had on when she discovered that I'm the one she's been insulting all the while. It was a priceless expression.

"Alpha Bounce.......,"

I snorted when she added my name. I didn't know she even remembered. No one called my name for a very long time now, not even Mitchell or Moi. Not that if they do I'll get angry but they wouldn't.

".........I want to see your garden. It's not for anything, it's just that I want some fresh breeze. You can bound my hands if you don't trust me not to make trouble" I read then she signed it with her name Jessy.

I almost smiled at her words but didn't. I've noticed that this little alpha lady wants to bring out the smile in me even for the one time we've met but I didn't want that to happen. I gave the letter back to the guard.

"Go trash this. Then bring her along when you are returning" I said.

" Yes alpha" he said, bowed and left.

I was somehow glad to see her again. That birdmouthed young woman. I didn't know the reason I was looking forward to see her and the troubles she'll make when she finds me here but I know it would liven my day.

I spotted her as she came in with the guard, who was now behind her watching her every move. She had on this happy smile as she inhale the garden's sweet smell. My garden is one of my pride. If I had been the friendly one to other pack alphas they would have said a lot about my garden and love to visit or at most make it a tourist attraction but I didn't even have time for friends and that got my life so peaceful. Even those that come into our pack are very careful, including those that do business with us. They do their business carefully.

As I watched her, I saw her bend down. I paused to see what she's trying to do. Not that I was afraid of what she might be planning to do but I just want to see what she has in her stubborn heart. The guard beside is ever at alert to cover her in any of her plans. She wouldn't even have a hand to lift and I myself I'm swift enough to stop her in seconds. I watched as she smelt the plant and then stood up and start looking around.

My guard saw me and I told him to leave which he did immediately and quietly. She didn't even notice him going. As I saw her uproot the plant, I know what she was going to do but I didn't expect her as a wealthy alpha's daughter to dig with her fingers. I saw her remove her hair clip, that made her hair pour down to her waist. As she bent, her hair was touching the ground. She's such a beauty, even as she dig the floor with her perfectly clean hands that is now stained , it made her look more cute. Like a little child playing with dirt.

"So you like getting your hands dirty?" I asked her with the way she's playing with the sand.
