Chapter 27: Chapter 27

Fillia looked so scared, she ran to me.

"Ma'am what's happening to you?" She asked in fear.

" I don't know" I lied.

I couldn't hold my cry. I kept shouting the whole building down. Fillia ran outside and then came back with two men. After then the physician followed.

"Carry her to the clinic" the physician ordered.

" No, the alpha has ordered us not to let her leave no matter what" the guard refused.

I felt like to shout at him. He wants to ruin my almost successful plan.

"We don't know what is going on with her and I need to examine her" the physician shouted.

" Just give me few minutes I need to go get permission from the alpha" he guard said and raced out.

We waited for the guard that went to relay the happening to the alpha. Unfortunately he came back to say the alpha and his men are not around. I almost screamed at the guard. My pain was gradually growing. I know it wouldn't kill me but it would bring me almost near death and weaken my wolf.

"I'm going to take her out. You can put all the blame on me" the physician said.

That was how I was carried away from that godforsaken room to the pack's clinic. My joy didn't know bound. I was so happy that even in my pain I almost screamed for joy. The physician was good. He was able to tame the pain and make the itching go away.

"Are you allergic to lemon?" He asked me.

I know if I tell him the truth he might figure out my plan and then all my effort will come to nothing.

"No. I've been taking lime all my childhood" I said.

The physician gave me an unbelieving look but I didn't change my word. I need this to work. I want to get out of this place in no time. The physician didn't say anything anymore. He just leave me in the bed to sleep. I was glad that he didn't say anymore.

I went to check on the farm lands. That's how I keep myself busy. I hate paperwork but I love the field more been that I was in the bush all through my days. I was there when one of the guards came to me.

"Alpha" he called and bowed.

With the way he was panting, I knew he was running in his wolf form. I wondered what the emergency is all about.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"The ranger alpha lady we held captive is almost dying" he said.

I raised a brow. " What happened to her?" I asked casually.

" I don't really know but the physician too her to the pack hospital already" he replied.

" How then is she doing?" I said still checking out the crops I came to check.

"I didn't get that information. I was told to come make it known to you that she's been brought out of the restriction room" he said.

" Why tell me? Didn't you see the beta?" I asked blankly.

I don't like to be disturbed with trivial matters and this is one of the trivial matters I've heard.

"We don't know if we can ask the beta for permission" he replied.

I looked at him sternly because if that statement. " He is my beta and he can handle such little matters" I said.

" Yes alpha" he bowed.

I dismissed the boy and then went on with my work. I don't go home untill late evening and that was when I finished what I went to do. After my dinner, I called for the physician to know about the matter.

"What's going on with the girl you took from the restriction room?" I asked.

I was in the pack hall seated on my chair.

"Alpha, I think she's reacting to something she took" he replied.

" She has allergy?" I asked surprised.

I've not heard of a werewolf having allergy. Well there's always a first time in everything.

"Actually I asked her and she said she's not allergic to anything but what I discovered happened was an allergy reaction" he explained.

" Is it possible for allergic reaction to start all of a sudden?"

I wanted to know if she lied or not. I don't trust the girl. Ever since she's been here she's been causing trouble for me. If not that she's innocent, I would have made sure to deal with her badly. I want to know if she's into another one because she's been calm for days.

"It can happen. What I asked noticed is that her wolf is weak too. Maybe her body is reacting to where she's staying. I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think it's her confinement that is affecting her" he explained further.

Well I wouldn't say I don't understand what the physician is telling me but I don't want to let the girl loose. I don't know what she's capable of doing. But that doesn't mean I want her to die.

"Are you saying we should take her away from the restriction room?" I asked.

" Not really alpha. You can change her room to see if the allergy reaction would stop" he replied

" Ok, you can leave" I said to him.

He bowed and start to leave but I stopped him.

"What did she take to instigate the reaction?" I asked.

I wanted to know. It might be a useful information tomorrow.

"Lemon alpha" he replied.

I then told him to go ahead to leave. I wanted to go see the lady but I was so reluctant to go. I then decided to let her rest and go the following morning. I was having a bad feeling about visiting this lady. Even Mitchell was like what's happening that I don't want to see this lady even for once. I didn't have any concrete explanation but I want to break the boundary tomorrow and I'm sure going to do it damning what I think might happen.
