Aísē: My Five Supernatural Wives Chapter 89
I knew my Best friend was always a simp for Elves...
Sigh...
That’s why I don’t know how to look him in the face.
Especially when he’s glaring at me with a face of betrayal and extreme resentment.
I avoided Victor’s resentful glare in the rearview mirror.
"Just, how long are you going to be scowling at me like that?" I asked tiredly, growing weary of his accusatory stare.
Suddenly, he let out a bitter laugh.
"Heh! And be happy that you became a harem king, leaving me in the dust," he said sarcastically, his voice dripping with jealousy and resentment.
"Look at you, Valerian. Married to six different women from all sorts of fantasy races. You’re living the dream while I’m stuck here with..."He glanced briefly at Mariabell before looking away.
"Huh...What were you about to say, Vic?" Maria was confused about his words and tilted her head. "Why did you pause?"
Victor was about to make an excuse, but he visibly shook as he felt an ominous presence on his shoulder stare at him. It was that strange butterfly that had been with him, monitoring his actions.
’Damn my fucking mouth, why did I have to blurt that out?’ Victor mentally screamed as he started sweating really hard.
Because he knew that if he answered wrong, then that old man wouldn’t leave him alive.
Or worse, leave him dead...
But fortunately, he had a considerate brother to help him.
"Ah, I think he must be meaning to say," I interjected smoothly, "he’s stuck with such a wonderful person, he doesn’t need anyone else."
I gave Victor a subtle wink in the rearview mirror, silently urging him to play along with me. "Yes, absolutely, I don’t think I need anyone else other than you, Maria," Victor answered enthusiastically.
Though most of his enthusiasm was from the fact that he’s been saved from being turned into a brainless puppet by that demon he calls his grandfather-in-law.
’Thanks a lot, Brother, ’ He mentally thanked me while gazing at the rearview mirror with tears in his eyes.
Mariabell tilted her head, considering my words. "Oh," she said finally, and accepted the explanation, but her face held no happiness or joy, but a slight disappointment.
Victor wiped his brow and sighed in relief from being saved...
’Maybe I shouldn’t have been so angry after all, it’s unmanly to be jealous of your friend,’ Victor thought, berating himself for the outburst.
’Even if he gets married to a Beautiful Elf and has a harem.... No, I am still dying of envy, damnit. ’
......
...
Pant!
Pant!
The sound of panting echoed in a dimly lit place as a Woman with pink hair wiped her lips stained with blood.
"Hahhh!...How hard is your damn shell, you fucking Monster?" The woman cursed as she straightened her posture and gathered demonic energy on her hands to create two whips of Fire that seemed to be made for torturing souls.
Yes, she was using the fire of hell.
Also known as Hellfire.
And attacked The Giant Monster in front of her, which looked like a turtle that could destroy an entire city with just its size.
The giant turtle-like monster, easily the size of a skyscraper, let out a deafening roar as the woman’s hellfire whips lashed against its armored shell.
The flames sizzled and hissed against his exoskeleton, but the creature remained unfazed. Its ancient eyes glinted with malevolence. "Not bad for a little demon," its voice rumbled like boulders grinding together, "But you’ll need more than just that to crack my shell, Little girl".
The monster began to move its massive leg, shaking the ground as it turned to face the woman; however, the speed at which it moved was surprisingly fast in contrast to its size. It snapped at her with a jaw that could swallow her whole without leaving any dust behind.
The pink-haired woman dodged nimbly, her demonic energy crackling around her as she summoned more hellfire whips. "I’m not just any demon you fucking Turtle," she snarled, lashing out at the monster’s eyes with renewed fury.
The massive creature’s face contorted with rage, visible veins bulged on his forehead as it bellowed, "You little How many times I told you I am not a Turtle! Did you never learn what the damn difference between a turtle and a Tortoise is? Huh!" It stomped its leg, causing the ground to tremble violently. The woman staggered but managed to maintain her balance, her hellfire whips flickering ominously. "A Tortoise," she retorted calmly, despite the monster’s fury," is a land-dwelling reptile with a hard shell, while a turtle is generally aquatic." She smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief.
"And you, my dear bestie, are most definitely a tortoise. Now enough chit chat, let me get back to beating that damn shell of yours. You fucking turtle." With that, she launched herself at the monster again, her whips cracking through the air like thunder.
The tortoise’s eyes flashed with fury as its massive form shook with rage "Then why the in the seventh hell are you still calling me Turtle you little daughter of a bitch?" it roared with its rumbling voice echoing through the chamber "I’ve told you a thousand times I am not a turtle I am a noble and ancient creature not some damn pond scum!" The woman, on the other hand, just laughed a musical sound that seemed to mock the beast’s anger further.
"Oh, lighten up, Chill big guy," she teased, circling the monster with graceful steps. "Turtle, tortoise....what’s the difference? You’re still just an annoyingly big but surprisingly fast-moving shell to me," she flicked her whip out the tip, exploding when it touched against the tortoise’s shell. The creature flinched back slightly, a hiss escaping from its mouth.
The tortoise’s jaw clenched, its eyes narrowing dangerously at the woman’s flippant response.
"Besides, it’s easier to say turtle," she shrugged, as if that settled the matter completely.
The massive beast let out a frustrated growl, smoke curling from its nostrils. "You infuriating little..." It began but trailed off, seemingly at a loss for words.
The woman just ground her pink hair dancing around her face as she twirled her whip provocatively. "Come on now," she purred with a tone of sarcasm. "Is that how you talk to your favourite playmate?" She leaped forward, suddenly her whip lashing out towards the tortoise’s face. The creature snapped its beak just in time, the flames singeing its snout.
"Hehe, I won. Finally, I managed to injure you, dumbass." The woman rejoiced with a mocking giggle, making the tortoise crackle its teeth.
The tortoise snarled, smoke pouring from its nostrils as it cracked its teeth together menacingly."Hehe, I won!" the woman gloated, her mocking giggle echoing through the chamber."Finally, I managed to injure you, dumbass!"
She danced around the creature, her hellfire whip trailing flames behind her like a comet’s tail.
"Look at that" she taunted pointing at the chared mark on the tortoise’s snout "Proof that even that an annoying and big stupid turtle can bleed. "the massive beast’s eyes flashed with humiliation an d rage with a roar that shook the very foundations of the room it charged forward its massive legs eating up the distance between them in mere strides.
Just as the tortoise was about to collide with her, massive chains suddenly burst forth from the ground, binding the beast’s legs and shell with a resounding clang.
It stumbled to a halt, struggling against its restraints with a furious roar.
"Release me, Damn you, daughter of Lucifer, I will kill you and make sure you never get to revive. I vow this on my ancient shell."
Step...
Step...
Footsteps echoed louder as a figure emerged from the shadows- A woman with a striking resemblance to the pink-haired woman, Liliana, but she had an aura of authority and power that was unmistakable.
She was Queen of Hell.
Lilith.
She surveyed the scene the scene with a critical eye. "hmm" she murmured her gaze flicking between Liliana and the trapped tortose "I didn’t expect you to actually manage to pass this test, Liliana" she turned her attention focus on her daughter a small smile playing on her lips "It seems my little girl is growing up to be quite the formidable demoness".eyes darting between lilith and lilith and liliana.
Lilith gazed at her daughter with a calm look, unfazed by her outburst. "You asked to be trained," she reminded Liliana firmly," do not blame me for the methods I employ. I already told you this was the only way since you insisted on neglecting your succubus abilities."
She took a step closer to Liliana, her purple eyes flashing with a hint of annoyance.
"You possess immense potential, my dear. It is high time you start taking your training seriously and embrace your demonic heritage."
Liliana shook her head stubbornly, her pink hair bouncing with the motion." Nah, uh!" she protested, "I’ve had enough now that I’m finally at Origin Level 5: Lord. I want to go back to my sweetheart husband!"She stomped her foot dramatically, her eyes flashing with determination."I don’t care about succubus abilities or stupid tests anymore. I just want to see Valerian!"
