Chapter 68: Chapter 68

Serena Everett walked into the classroom just on time, and as she was about to sit down, a reprimanding voice sounded behind her.

"Stop right there! You’re late, who allowed you to enter the classroom? Get out now and stand outside!"

Witnessing this scene, the classmates couldn’t help but whisper among themselves.

"Serena’s done for today, she’s really unlucky, and now she’s gotten on Dean Finch’s bad side!"

"No kidding, she’s definitely in trouble today!"

Amidst the murmurs, Serena maintained her casual demeanor and said nonchalantly, "I’m not late."

"Arriving just as the bell rings is considered late in my book!"

Dean Finch of the medical department and Principal Reed never got along, naturally disliking Serena who had been placed in the medical department by Principal Reed. Additionally, Yara Shawnessy frequently badmouthed her to him, which only made Finch dislike Serena even more.

"Get out of my classroom right now..."

Dean Finch wasn’t finished with his scolding when Yara Shawnessy’s voice interrupted.

"I’m sorry, teacher, I was delayed by something on the way, that’s why I was late."

Seeing Yara, Dean Finch’s face immediately softened and he nodded at her, "Come on in, don’t be late next time."

"Thank you, teacher!"

Yara beamed with a smug smile, casting a provocative glance at Serena.

So what if this country bumpkin Serena Everett has Principal Reed’s protection? Everyone at Imperia University knows that Dean Finch and Principal Reed are on bad terms, right?

Besides, Principal Reed isn’t even at the university now, so this bumpkin is easy to deal with, right?

"Why are you still standing here? Get out of my classroom immediately, don’t waste my time teaching the class!" Dean Finch glared at Serena with a cold demeanor, loudly reprimanding her.

Serena’s refined eyebrows lazily arched as she ignored him, striding back to her seat with long and straight legs, completely disregarding Dean Finch, exuding confidence!

This made Dean Finch furious. No student had ever dared to ignore him !

"Don’t think that just because Principal Reed backs you, you can do whatever you want! You’re in the medical department now, and I can have you expelled from it with just one word!"

"Oh." Serena lazily leaned back in her chair, crossed her long and straight legs, adopting a boss-like pose, speaking nonchalantly, "Go ahead, I’ll wait for you to expel me."

This tone was downright rebellious!

The classmates who initially resented her couldn’t help but silently give her a thumbs-up in their hearts!

Dean Finch was too angry to speak, and Yara Shawnessy immediately stood up, righteously accusing her.

"Serena, don’t go too far. You’re being arrogant just because Principal Reed favors you, and now you don’t even respect the teacher. The medical department doesn’t need someone like you who doesn’t respect teachers or have good character!"

Seeing Yara’s ’righteous’ attitude, Serena’s slender fingers clenched slightly, and she retorted, unfazed.

"Don’t label me. If he doesn’t respect me, why should I respect him?"

This double standard attitude from Dean Finch also sparked discussion among the classmates.

"Exactly, Serena wasn’t technically late but was asked to leave the class, while the class representative was late but allowed to come in. Such double standards!"

"Right, right, why can someone who’s late enter the classroom, but someone who isn’t late has to leave? It’s too unfair!"

Listening to these murmurs, Dean Finch’s expression became even uglier, "All of you, shut up!"

Seeing Dean Finch’s angry expression, the students had no choice but to reluctantly fall silent.

"I allowed Ms. Shawnessy to enter because she’s the best student in the class! But Serena, she only got into the medical department through the back door, she doesn’t know anything about medicine, so what’s wrong with kicking her out?!" Dean Finch sneered towards Serena, "Since you’re so unwilling to accept this, I’ll give you a chance. Solve the problem on the blackboard, and if you can do it, I’ll respectfully invite you back into the classroom, and even if you’re late again, I won’t say a word!"

"But if you can’t solve it, you’ll have to go and tell Principal Reed you want to leave the medical department!"

These words caused a new stir in the class.

"Oh my god, that problem is so difficult. How could Serena, who just joined the medical department, possibly solve it?"

"Yeah, even we couldn’t solve it. It seems like Dean Finch is deliberately making things difficult for Serena?"

"Alright." Serena didn’t even lift an eyelid as she agreed nonchalantly.

Yara’s face immediately showed a wicked smile. Even she couldn’t solve the problem on the blackboard, let alone this bumpkin from the countryside!

Today is the day Serena gets kicked out of the medical department!

Yara quickly messaged Cassia Everett to good news with her.

"Hmph, the little brat doesn’t know her limits!" Dean Finch sneered coldly, clearly not believing she could solve the problem.

"How dare Serena? That problem is so difficult, yet she dared to accept..."

"Yes, yes, looks like today Serena is going to be kicked out of the medical department!"

The continuous whispers in the class couldn’t affect Serena at all. She walked confidently to the podium, chalk in her slender fingers, and wrote down the answer on the blackboard.

The entire process took no more than three minutes!

"How did she write down the answer in just three minutes? Is Serena just scribbling it?"

The students couldn’t help but echo out loud.

"She must be scribbling. How could she write down the answer in just three minutes?"

Yara’s face flashed with more pride, saying in a sarcastic tone, "Serena, if you really don’t know, you could also ask me, you know? If your attitude was better, maybe I’d even teach you. But by scribbling the answer down, you’re doomed. Now you’re about to be kicked out of the medical department!"

Serena lifted her extraordinarily beautiful fox-like eyes, looking coolly at her, "Who said I’m going to be kicked out of the medical department?"

Yara immediately let out a cold laugh, defiant even at the last moment!

"Dean Finch, Serena’s scribbling shows utter disrespect towards you. With a student like her, you really should expel her from the medical department immediately!"

As long as they get rid of Serena, the country bumpkin, Cassia promises to convince the Everett family to invest in their company!

With this thought, Yara’s tone grew more urgent, clearly noticing Dean Finch’s sudden change in facial expression.

"Dean Finch, why are you still hesitating? Quickly, kick her out of the medical department..." Follow current novels on N()velFire.net
