Chapter 237: Chapter 237

The car stopped steadily at the boxing gym fifteen minutes later.

Serena Everett immediately got out of the car, her long, straight legs moving swiftly. But as soon as she stepped into the boxing gym, she bumped into Steven Everett who was coming out.

"Serena, what are you doing here? Didn’t I ask those guys to take you home?"

Seeing Serena, Steven’s expression instantly became uneasy. He subconsciously raised a hand to cover his right cheek, clearly not wanting to lose face in front of her.

"Take your hand away."

Serena stared at the hand covering his face and spoke calmly.

"Serena, I’m fine!" Steven tried to brush her off with a laugh, "Let’s go home, it’s getting late..."

Before he finished his sentence, Serena’s cold voice interrupted him.

"Don’t make me repeat myself."

Though still unwilling, Steven took a cautious look at Serena’s face and immediately obediently took his hand away, worried about making his precious little sister angry.

Watching this scene, the other team members couldn’t help but unleash a silent exclamation.

What the heck, since when was their Captain so obedient? And why does Serena have such a powerful aura, commanding respect without needing to express anger, making people instinctively want to submit to her...

Looking at Steven’s wounds, Serena’s delicate brows furrowed, her disapproving gaze landing on Damian Quinn who followed them out.

"Who told you to goof around with Steven?"

Either one of them being injured was something she didn’t want to see!

Seeing the young girl genuinely angry, Damian’s previously lazy demeanor vanished, visibly flustered as he humbly and cautiously admitted his mistakes.

"Serena, brother was wrong..."

Seeing Damian , Steven was initially shocked, but soon felt incredibly pleased. Serena was standing up for him, proving that he was more important in her heart!

If Steven had a tail, it would be wagging triumphantly right now, the frustration of losing earlier completely dissipating.

But before he could fully enjoy the moment, Serena’s indifferent gaze swept over him, "What are you grinning about, Steven? Do you enjoy fighting?"

"No... I don’t like fighting..."

Being stared at so coldly by his precious little sister made Steven so nervous that he stammered, "Serena, don’t be mad..."

"Captain, who actually won the fight between the two of you?" The curious team members couldn’t help but ask.

They naturally assumed Steven would win, but seeing Damian unharmed while Steven was injured made things seem quite odd!

"Yeah, who was the winner?"

Bringing up this topic, Steven’s face flushed a few shades paler, unable to come up with an answer.

It’s not that he couldn’t handle losing, he just didn’t want to lose face in front of his precious little sister.

Damian’s deep, magnetic voice sounded unhurriedly.

Steven immediately breathed a sigh of relief, even finding Damian more agreeable.

Consider Damian a sensible old rascal, letting him keep his dignity in front of Serena.

"Serena, please don’t be mad at your brother, I promise I won’t fight with him again!"

Serena didn’t respond, just turned around and walked out of the boxing ring.

"What should I do, Serena is mad at me! How should I make it up to her!" Steven was beside himself with worry, "I’m doomed, I just got back and already made Serena mad, what if she doesn’t like me as her brother anymore?"

"Uh... Captain, don’t stress out, Serena isn’t the type to hold grudges. Captain, should I go get some medication from the car to treat the wound on your face?"

"What time is it, why bother with medicine now? It’s just a small cut, if treated later it’ll heal..."

Before Steven finished his impatient words, the next moment he saw Serena coming back to the boxing gym with a medical kit, his expression instantly froze, followed by a few forceful coughs as he quickly corrected.

"Cough, cough... even small wounds need medication to heal faster!"

The team members: "..."

Their Captain’s change in demeanor is truly swift!

The Elysian Pavilion.

"Young Master Everett..."

Having received the news, the manager was already waiting at the door. Upon seeing Elliot Everett, he immediately approached with respect.

Elliot’s sharp gaze swept over him, his powerful presence sending chills down people’s spines.

"Which private room is she in?"

"Miss Sutton is in room 403!" The manager responded respectfully, "Young Master Everett, following your instructions, nobody has approached Miss Sutton before you arrived."

Elliot nodded in acknowledgment, his long strides heading straight for room 403.

Upon opening the door, the heavy smell of alcohol hit him, making Elliot instinctively frown. But the moment he saw Nancy Sutton passed out drunk on the sofa, he quickly stepped inside, showing no trace of disdain.

"Why did you drink so much?" ʀᴇᴀᴅ ʟᴀᴛᴇsᴛ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀᴛ N0veI.Fiɾe.net

Elliot frowned, ready to express his disapproval, but Nancy murmured uncomfortably.

"Ugh... I’m so dizzy... stop shaking..."

Seeing her mumbling in distress, Elliot’s heart softened instantly, unable to utter any harsh words.

"Next time you’re not allowed to drink this much." Elliot sighed lightly, reaching out to help her up, "Listen, Nancy, I’ll take you home."

"Not going back... not going back... I want to keep drinking..."

The completely drunk Nancy was deaf to reason, causing more commotion as she reached out to grab the table’s wine glass.

Elliot felt a headache coming on, clearly not expecting the usually obedient girl around him to be this rowdy when drunk.

"I want to drink till dawn... bring me another dozen drinks..."

Seeing Nancy about to grab the wine glass again, Elliot reached out with his large hand, disregarding her resistance, and picked her up into his arms, striding out.

Witnessing this scene, the manager was completely stunned.

Young Master Everett usually hates commotion, yet Miss Sutton’s antics didn’t get her kicked out, clearly showing her special place in Young Master Everett’s heart!

"Sit tight, I’m taking you home."

Elliot had just placed Nancy into the car when she started fussing again.

"Bad guy... I’ll bite you to death..."

Nancy was utterly drunk, murmuring as her small hands quickly tugged at his shirt.

"Why are you biting me and tearing my shirt?"

Elliot chuckled, his long, handsome hand gently restraining her restless hands, his deep, pleasant voice tinged with helplessness, and even unnoticed indulgence.

"Nancy, where are you planning to bite?"

Though fuzzy-headed, Nancy’s words were astonishing as she buried her head in his embrace, rubbing against his abs through his thin shirt.

"I want to cover your abs in my teeth marks..."

That way, you’ll be mine!
