Chapter 26: Chapter 26
Hudson's eye met Kianna's for a split second, and he frowned. How did it find the hallway leading to his office's restroom? He has a large private office with a house-like interior design. If he does not need to go home, there is a room across the door, a small kitchen with a coffeemaker on the right side, and a restroom next door.
He had a gut feeling, but he remained silent. When he saw it earlier in the mansion, his heart almost skipped a beat. The woman resembles Abhaya. Everything, from the posture to the expression, is perfect. Only one does not, and that is proficiency in martial arts, particularly Judo. He was only surprised by the part where it made him kneel. He, Azael, and Cuhen have sparred before, but he win, and the opponent never gets him to his knees, so he knows the woman is good.
Ironically, he agreed right away because it looked like the woman he had been looking for through the computer and his AI robot up until now, so yes was his answer. He had the impression that if it wasn't the woman he was looking for, it was her sister or twin. He will investigate Kianna Trunt's background. The woman approached him mysteriously, and he noticed a dull in her eye that indicated hidden hatred and anger. He must determine whether the two women, Abhaya and Kianna, are the same.
When Kianna walked in, he was already at his table, reading documents. It has long dark brown hair that is pony tailed. Her expression has changed to one of ferocity. He looked at the woman, and what he saw was a woman named Abhaya who had long since left and vanished like a bubble.
"Abhaya..." he said nonchalantly. He didn't see any emotion or even the expected shock in the girl's eyes. It just kept the aura calm until it sat down on the couch again.
"Your woman?" She said it without hesitation and cast a quick glance at her already-wrapped hand in bondage.
He didn't respond. He returned his gaze to what he was doing, but he was even more uneasy in his seat due to the many questions that raced through his confused mind.
ABHAYA was bored sitting on the single couch and wanted to leave, but she held back herself when Jackylyn came in after it knocked. Jackylyn rolled her eyes as she confidently walked towards Hudson. Her friend is making use of her charm once more.
"Dr. Hayes, Mrs. Hayes has sent me here as your new secretary. I apologize for being two hours late; I was involved in an accident on the way."
Abhaya laughed inwardly at what her friend said. What exactly is that alibi? She wished to thrash her. Who would a reasonable employee expect to arrive late in the morning?
Hudson, on the other hand, remained silent. It also didn't look up to see who had come in. He simply pointed to the front seat, and Jacky walked straight there and sat. Abhaya cast a glance at the man, who appeared to be preoccupied with his work. Is Hudson unaware of how lovely his secretary will be?
Perhaps she should remind her friend that Hudson was a demon in human form whose strong charisma caused hundreds of women to cry and shed tears. Jackylyn may fall for Hudson.
Hudson's expression was stoic as he faced his laptop. It didn't notice she was staring at him now, trying to read the young doctor's mind, but she couldn't get into it like she couldn't before. It was as if Hudson was reading something important and simply tapping his finger on the laptop. She decided to close her eyes for a moment and rest. She's been stressed out all day, ever since she ran into Hudson again. It was extremely stressful. She really wanted to go home and rest, but she had already agreed to this assignment, and she needed to do it well.
She will admit that Hudson's movements are very agile and he cannot be knocked down easily, but she still wonders why Hudson hires a bodyguard if he is so much better than her. She didn't realize Hudson had hidden skills and talents in the cyber world when she was madly in love with him. That, if anything, is no longer surprising. With an IQ of 170, it's no surprise that he always comes out on top.
But when she closed her eyes, she had no idea she had fallen asleep because she was so bored. She wasn't used to sitting all the time, so she didn't know how many hours or minutes she slept on the couch, and she was tired of the two of them sparring. And their past came back to haunt her.
She has no idea how she dragged herself home after the most humiliating experience she has ever had with Doc Hayes. Is there anything wrong with her being a virgin? Shit! It should be thankful, but why does it appear that the bomb blew him up?
A few weeks passed. Fortunately, she never saw him again, and she vowed never to go to any of the bars again after that. It's terrifying to be as beautiful as she is. She stopped flirting with any man on the phone because her mind was too preoccupied. The bar encounter replayed in her mind, probably because no matter how hard she tried to forget the man named Hudson, she remembered the entire incident even more vividly.
She dashed downstairs to the elevator after it had passed 10 p.m. She was ravenous and ready to devour people, despite the fact that she had been exhausted all day. She worked extra hours due to the volume of her reports, and Freia was absent because if she had just been here, it would have helped her until the end.v
She re-entered the private elevator in a hurry, wanting to get home. Inside, she was alone, and she blinked briefly while leaning against the glass wall. She didn't bother looking who walked in as long as she closed her eyes and hoped it was her bed room when she got out. She felt as if someone was staring at her, so she opened her eyes and saw the face of the man who was torturing her good sleep every night.
She was caught off guard. When she saw his very handsome face, all her tiredness and hunger vanished, but when she remembered what had happened to them at the bar, her face turned bright red. Her gaze was lowered as she averted her gaze. She's hoping Hudson won't notice her. To avoid his presence, she abruptly pressed the elevator number for the next stop. Her knees begin to buckle! She hurried to step out of the elevator as soon as it opened, but she felt someone pull her arm back.
As his lips met hers, her eyes widened automatically. Hudson kissed her on the lips! She pushed him, but his hand was wrapped around her waist and one hand was supporting her head, preventing her from moving. She didn't want to be humiliated in front of him again. She hasn't had a boyfriend yet!
But Mary, Mary, Mary! His luscious sinful lips tempt her to kiss him back, which she does. She had completely forgotten everything. She hugged Hudson's neck, and their kiss brought her danger and a strange message. He pressed her up against the wall, raised her hand, and kissed her even more passionately. Hudson was like a ravenous wolf who could not be stopped.
Hudson dragged her to his million-dollar car in the parking lot. She silently obeyed the young doctor, as if he were the center of her universe at the time, and her entire life revolved around him. Hudson kissed her on the cheek as they exited his car. She didn't know where Hudson had taken her as long as she knew the kiss he gave her was making her go insane all over again. Hudson carried her, her thigh encased in his waist. Nothing really, she's still smitten by his delectable lips.
She felt the soft sofa behind her and it was only then that Abhaya realized she was no longer dressed. Make her two breasts visible to him. Hudson immediately undressed her. It ripped her skirt, and there's nothing but cloth covering her treasure. She was insane because the next thing she felt was its tongue, and no one said Hudson ate her. She grabs his hair. Merde! She'll die in fucking pleasure! She just wished Hudson wouldn't leave her again.
Hudson worshipped her, and there was no part of her body that he did not kiss and suck on as if she were the finest delicacy. Then he grabbed her legs and opened it. The sofa did not become an impediment for them because what happened next caused her to close her eyes in pain. Hudson was stunned for a moment before opening her eyes to stare at him. The young doctor just stared at her and stroked her cheek before entering her tight world. She tried not to cry out in pain, but tears streamed down her cheeks.
"Shh... I'll try to be gentle. Damn!” Hudson hugged her, but Abhaya sensed that his manhood had not yet entered her halfway.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and dug her nails into his back. Her entire world is trembling for Mary's sake! Hudson, on the other hand, assisted her in overcoming her pain. When it finally entered, it paused for a moment and stared at her.
When it started to move, the pain she had felt before was mixed with a little delight. The pleasure and the pain were mixed, and she completely surrendered herself to the man in those moments, not knowing what would happen next to her. She finally gave up her prized pearl.
Someone slapped Abhaya in the cheek, jolting her awake. She raised an eyebrow at Jackylyn and crossed her arms in front of her. Only then did she realize she had fallen asleep and had been transported back to a time she no longer desired.
"I'll give you a hint, Hudson left," Jackylyn said as it rolled its eyes and turned away from her.
She jumped to her feet and grabbed her shoulder bag, which contained two guns. Shit! Why didn't Hudson wake her up at all, or to put it another way, why didn't she wake up? Was she preoccupied with her dream?
When she approached him while opening his car, he was exactly in the parking lot. She bolted and jumped into the driver's seat. She smirked in her head as she noticed the young Doctor's stunned expression.
"Hop in!" she said, motioning to the passenger seat. She will drive, both reluctantly and willingly.
It was like a gentle puppy who did as she said. He jumps in. He's just staring at her as if she's a stunning woman... Oh well, she's always been stunning. Hudson, on the other hand, can't fool her any longer.
No, Hudson, not again!
"Location?" she asked, not looking at him. She was simply looking ahead.
"Malcogn's Empire."
She simply raised an eyebrow. She swerved the car into the middle of the road. It's time to go! She smiled as she pressed the gas pedal.
“Bullshit! Are you trying to murder me?" he yells.
On the other side of her brain, she laughed. Really? Is it frightening? Isn't it just normal for her? Isn't it exciting?
"Nope," she said as she drove the car even its red light. Hudson yelled because the car was on the verge of being hit by a large vehicle.
Her 30-minute drive was reduced to 15 minutes. On the other end of the line, she could hear Jacky laughing. She wore earrings and a necklace that linked the two of them. Jackylyn is now watching over them. She was aware that her friend could overhear their conversation.
“Fuck! Don't do that again, woman, or I'll fire you," he said sternly, his handsome face flushed with anger and frustration, but she didn't care when Hudson got out of the car.
While she was standing next to him, it flew straight into the very giant company. Her beautiful face drew attention once more, as it always did. She simply smiled at that point.
Hudson stayed in Cuhen's office for two hours, while Abhaya chose to wait outside. She was starving. What time is it exactly? Because of this man, she almost forgot the time. She looked around and noticed that CCTV protected every area, so she decided to go to the canteen because her stomach was grumbling. She needed to fight with a full stomach.
She was in the middle of eating when a man approached her and asked to sit in front of her. Because the other seats in the canteen were already occupied at lunchtime, she only nodded.
"What department are you in?"
She looked at him for a moment, and she smiled because she could read the man's intentions kindly and cleanly. "I work for the Hayes Group of Hospitals. I'm not employed here. ”
He laughed at her direct response. "I see..." he said, nodding and holding out his hand. "By the way, my name is Zerus. Nice to see you here," he said with a smile and two dimples on his cheek.
"Kianna," pause. "It's a pleasure to meet you," she said, reaching for his hand. Only then did she realize Zerus was more than just a human being in front of her, that heaven had blessed him with good looks, but Abhaya had had enough of that stage. She believes her heart is numb.
The new acquaintance is entertaining to converse with, and she occasionally laughs at his jokes. They had just come to a halt when Hudson appeared in front of them.
"We're leaving right now, Ms. Trunt.”
She hadn't even finished her meal when the young doctor grabbed her arm and yanked her away. Those who saw them sighed, while others shuddered. They aren't even a couple! When she turned to face Zerus, he simply smiled, as if to reassure her that everything was fine and that there was still time for them to meet. It even said its goodbyes to her.
Hudson's grip on her arm was so tight that he almost broke it. He said nothing to her. She couldn't tell what was going through the young doctor's mind because his face was devoid of emotion. Why is it that she can't get into this man's head when it comes to this?
Hudson was driving when they returned to his car. It no longer allows her to hold the wheel since he fears she will crash his expensive car, which is correct! She wanted to crash his car in order to wake it up to the fact that it lacked a heart, but she didn't want to do it. She assigns it to him to protect him since that is her job.
"Shit!" she yelled as the driver's side window shattered. Fortunately, the man was not shot.
"Fuck!" He cursed the wind.
She quickly snatched the wheel from the man and threw him to the ground. He refused, but she pulled the young doctor's collar when a series of gunshots rang out in the car. She bent it quickly, and she was the one who got to drive. Because she was so small, she was able to effortlessly swap positions with the man.
"Track the shooter," she said confidently, pulling the car into the middle of the road. She'll play with Satan again today.
"I can't find the shooter," Jacky said immediately over the phone.
She paused her words. All she did was pull over and compete for a ride with the vehicles. Thank God, and no one shot them. Hudson's opponent is determined to depose the young doctor, but it appears that time has not agreed to spare his life.
"Slow down."
She ignored his emotionless voice. It was already sitting neatly, and his gaze was fixed on the road.
"Slow down or I'll fire you right now."
"Why don't you give it a shot?"
"Ms. Trunt—"
"I'm driving. Shut up." She slowed the car. No one is following them and that's good. She cast a secret glance at Hudson, who was quiet and deep in thought. She wanted to read his mind, but she couldn't. "Where are we going next?"
"Cemetery," he said, then gave the location.
She scowled. What are they going to do there? Will it dig its own grave? She laughed at the thought. She can even dig his grave. They were completely silent throughout the journey.
They stopped at the entrance to the private cemetery, and she waited for the man to emerge, but he just stared at the entrance, as if deep in thought. Abhaya remained silent as she secretly studied Hudson's face. Was she correct about what she saw? She could tell Hudson was in pain, but it went away quickly.
"I'm unable to track anything. The person who wanted to kill Doctor Hayes was kinda hard to track." Jacky's voice drew her attention. She didn't respond. She started walking towards the car.
"Where should we go next?"
"Mansion," he said quickly.
"Shoot!" The vehicle began to move down the wide road. She was eager to race again with the other driver.
HUDSON was occupied while he was in a private underground room with his AI robot. That room wasn't for nothing; all the things he invented when he was younger were there, but he didn't have time because he was too busy running his hospital and business.
He examined the bullet from the gun that had been used on him earlier and had nearly killed him. Clean. There are no tracable fingerprints. He turned on the laptop, and his AI, Travis. This is how he locates and accesses everything that happened previously.
He got a lead during its three-hour CCTV scan of each building, but it wasn't clear because it was wearing a hat and a mask. He sighed briefly and leaned back in his seat. If anyone wants to run into him, make sure he's knocked out first, or else he might drag them to his grave.
"Travis, please save those files."
Travis replied, "Files saved."
He turned to the laptop and read the information obtained, "Kianna Trunt," he said without hesitation.
Kianna Trunt, 25, single, half-Pinay and half-British...
He paused his reading. His attention was drawn to the image of it. In the photograph, she was smiling, but sadness and pain were engulfing the twinkle in her eye. He took out the picture of Abhaya that had been hidden in his drawer for a long time and placed it next to Kianna's picture. The hair and the aura of the face were the only things that were different. Abhaya appeared to be innocent, angelic, and fragile. Kianna, on the other hand, is a free-spirited, fearless death seeker. He had a feeling the woman sleeping in the room next to the master bed room was the same, but he wasn't sure because the Abhaya he met was always smiling and full of love for him.
When Farhistt called, he opened his mouth and said, "Hey?"
They are not a particularly close friend. It has its own world, and so he did. He and Azael were only speaking to Cuhen. When the group is present, the two of them only speak occasionally. They are only conversing because of Cuhen.
"How are you doing? Is my acquaintance's private bodyguard doing her job?"
He was stunned and stared at his cellphone despite the fact that he couldn't see Farhistt's face. Even though they weren't in the same room, he could tell Farhistt was laughing because a woman was watching over her as a bodyguard. Damn! Farhistt teases him, which is awkward because he rarely speaks.
“Fuck! I've got to go, I'm busy," he said as he turned off his phone and began looking for the thing he should have looked for.
ABHAYA stood up and turned to face her laptop. She only had two suitcases, one for clothes and one for combat equipment, but she couldn't use all of them. Jackylyn transmits a file. She opened it, her face turning sour when she saw the young Doctor's face, which was devoid of a smile.
"What exactly is this?" she wrote in response to Jackylyn's email.
"Doctor Hudson Herrence Hayes," he says. "The man is the reason for everything you've been through and why you've come under Yx's control."
She took a long time to respond, and she didn't say anything. She knew Jacklynn was inquisitive about everything, and she couldn't blame her.
"Would you like to withdraw? Just say it, and let's go," she concluded with a laugh and a loud emoticon.
It even wanted to make a joke with her.. If it had been right next to her, she would have beaten the woman. "No. We're already here, so let's get this done. All we need now is the lead to get out of here."
"Copy, Captain!"
She shut down the laptop and faced the two guns on top of the side table. She gave a bitter smile. Her body almost gave up during her first training on the island due to the extreme hardship. How many bullets were wasted in each of her unsuccessful shots? All of this, and the reason she's here now is because she's enraged at Hudson. She'll make certain that she plays to his destiny and wins.
When her phone rang, she quickly answered it. "Speaking," she said to Yx.
"How was your first day? Is there a problem?”
"Why did you give me this assignment?" she asked, angrily. "Don't we both know about my past?"
"Abhaya Kienne, you are in his power as a private bodyguard, not as the woman he previously hurt. I assumed you were fine with it. I never heard you disagree, so I assumed you'd moved on."
She was taken aback. Yes, this is correct. In her demeanor, she appears to be demonstrating that she has not forgotten Hudson up to this point, or the correct question, has she truly forgotten Hudson? She sighed and bid Yx farewell. She will not combine her professional and personal lives.
