Chapter 10: Chapter 10

ELLAH sobbed as she hugged the young Doctor. When he entered the mansion, he was beaten shut, and his clothes had been torn. Kleve left, and when he returned later that evening, he was covered in bruises and wounds.

When she placed it on the bed, she tended his wound. According to the staff who brought Kleve, no one knows who allegedly beat him. They claimed to have just seen Kleve pass out inside his office. No CCTV was able to identify the perpetrator, but she already knew who it was. Cuhen was the only demon who wanted to take his life.

She was sobbing as she looked at the man, who was fast asleep. She also changed his clothes and was irritated that she couldn't even seek assistance from high-ranking officials. She wasn't even able to save his fiancee.

"I'm sorry, Kleve, you're in pain. You would not have been touched by this demon named Cuhen if I hadn't called you that day. Please forgive me. Kleve, please forgive me." She hugged him and realized she was sleeping next to the man.

Ellah simply started crying when Kleve finally woke up but was unable to move much. She sat up straight and smiled. Her eyes welled up with tears.

"I'm sorry... It's all my fault," she admitted sadly.

She has already made her decision. She's leaving Kleve for good. She will promise herself that the next time they meet, she will be completely smitten. No Cuhen will ever share her love. She would force her heart, but in these moments, she had no choice but to choose Kleve's life. It wouldn't have mattered if she hadn't fled to him in the first place. She's a moron! Other people were harmed as a result of her actions.

"Don't say that, baby. It's not your fault."

She cracked a sad smile. "I'll cook to warm your stomach," she said without waiting for the man to respond, and went straight to the kitchen.

She was taken aback when she saw Cuhen emerge from the other room. He was standing against the wall, holding a gun. His appearance is dark, and his aura is frightening. She closes her eyes and tries to relax. She has already made her decision, and she believes it is correct. She didn't resist when it drew her into the other room.

"I'm exactly what you're looking for, isn't it? I can accompany you now, but please avoid Kleve! He has absolutely nothing to do with you. Return everything you took from him. Allow him to be alone. I'll come with you. Please don't hurt him."

Bullshit! She already promise herself last night that she would stop crying, but here she was crushed once more by her own weakness.

"Are you attempting to amuse me? You're just a bed warmer for me. You're just my sex slave who escaped and joined another master," Cuhen chuckled. She grasped as he grabbed her waist. That hurts! "I can also take you to the island whenever I want. However, because I enjoy the game, I let you run and run. Even if you come with me, you won't be able to stop me from killing. Because I will still kill the man you love whether you come or not.”

God! Why did she come across a demon in human form? Cuhen turned around and jumped out the window before she could respond.

"Kleve!" She dashed into the man's room and hugged him tightly. She didn't want to let him go because she feared she wouldn't see him alive by the time she did.

"Hey, why are you crying?" he asked as he awoke, his face concerned.

"Let's get out of here right now. Take me to your most secure island. He's going to kill you! When that happens, I can't go on with my life. Please, let's get going! You don't have enough employees. Cuhen has just arrived, and he is determined to kill us!" Her entire body almost trembled as she heard what was said.

He was quiet for a moment, and it took a long time to respond. He stroked her hair and dialed a phone number. "Get the chopper ready. We're heading north now."

She exclaimed with joy. "Oh, thanks God!"

"Please don't cry. He can't murder me. I will kill him before he can kill me. He can't stand me. I'm going to kill him!” She gasps at the strange look in Kleve's eyes, but then suddenly vanishes when he caresses her cheek. "Not even Cuhen can bring me down. We'll kill each other, and then I'll bury him. So, baby, stay put; everything will be fine. You're all mine. You are mine, and I am yours."

She has no idea, but what she heard caused her fear to rise. She did, however, smile for the man and hug him. He actually laughed at what she did. But why was her heart pounding when he said he'd kill Cuhen? Isn't this what she desires?

"Damn!" Cuhen exclaimed, holding back his rage. He didn't manage to catch up with the two. They took off. In fact, he enjoys Ellah's game. He is both the bet and the murderer.

He opened the cellphone and looked at the tracking device he had given to Ellah, which he had attached to the pendant on her necklace.

"Azael," he said, referring to his cousin.

"Yeah?" its uninteresting response. Obviously, just waking up from a nap.

"Follow me to the island of La Priza. Now!" Then he hung up, having heard its crunchy curse on the other end of the line.

I'm the the killer here so that I can get the justice I deserve. Your soul will be given justice now, baby, and I will put an end to your death.

For a brief moment, he closed her eyes and reflected on his past with the woman he loved so much that he is now in pain...

"I want baby boy twins. What do you think, baby?" he asked as he stroked Florae one-and-a-half-month-old belly. He couldn't wait any longer.

"Your wish is my command, master," she said softly, pinching his nose.

"But I've changed my mind. Let's go for triplets, baby."

Laughter filled their room as he began to tickle Florae, leading to a hot romance in bed.

His fist clenched as he remembered the past, and he couldn't wait to kill. There will be a flood of blood now, and he swears it is the blood of the man he is going to kill today.

Wait for me, Ellah, because I will also murder the person you love in the same way that they killed the people I love.

ELLAH was surprised when she saw the entire island, which was beautiful but shrouded in mystery. The fear on her body began to rise.

They were met by a large crowd of armed men as they descended. They bowed slightly to her fiance and spoke in a different language so she wouldn't understand.

She was so close to Kleve's arm that she experienced a strange fear. Kleve is still not fine, but it can hold its own. His face was always soft spoken and he appeared to be an angel who came from above, but now his aura has changed and even the spark of his eyes has changed.

"No, I'm not going to let him. I used to let him beat me, but not anymore," he exclaimed angrily to the man with the large tattoo on the other arm. The massive weapon was attached to the muscular body and bore a scar on the side of the cheek.

"Kleve..." She drew the young man's attention, "First, take a break, then let's think about it."

He gave her a nod and stroked her cheek. What he did had an impact on her, and she couldn't help but be moved by it. Kleve abruptly altered the motion it displayed to her.

"All right, let's go..." He invited her to the large rest stop in front of him.

Armed guards were still stationed around the large rest stop. She is perplexed as to why there are so many armed staffs. She just assumed it was all part of the preparation for Cuhen's attack. Hopefully, it will stop following her and she will be able to rest.

If only she could defend herself with money, she would have done so. But she knew that if money was the only consideration, she would lose. She is not wealthy in the same way that Cuhen is, and she lacks sufficient evidence against the man. She could not simply imprison him as she desired.

She couldn't sleep that night, and drowsiness didn't come to her no matter how hard she tried. She almost rolled over on the soft bed to sleep, but nothing happened. Her heartbeat's strength also seemed to indicate danger, so she couldn't sleep any longer.

She stood up and took a look out the window. It was dark outside, but the moon's reflection allowed her to see the beauty of the ocean and its gentle waves. Armed men continue patrolling while others guard the island. They're extremely vigilant, and she suspects they're assassins. She became terrified at the thought.

But she was gradually relieved to realize that Cuhen would never be able to catch up with them again. Whatever the man's plan is, it will fail. But she was taken aback when she noticed something moving in the distance. She looked at it intently, trying to figure out what it was. Her vision is clear, and she is not mistaken; a man is moving on the other side of the beach. It had just emerged from the sea and quickly vanished into the darkness, leaving her blind.

Cuhen!

She shivered as the name came to her from her mind. Impossible! Cuhen is unable to follow her. No!

She dashed to Kleve's room, but when she opened the door, he was nowhere to be found. She dashed down the stairs, and the man was most likely in the kitchen. She had to tell him that Cuhen had followed them and that they needed to defend themselves, but she had circled the entire house and had not seen Kleve.

No! Kleve might not be dead yet, right? No. I'll just keep looking for him...

She noticed three armed men enter a room at the same time. She waited for them to come out so she could ask them, but it took 30 minutes and they still didn't come out, so she mustered the courage to enter.

A library room filled with books opened up to her. She looked around every corner, but there was no one inside.

Her brow furrowed until she noticed herself turning the wall of books. She was no longer surprised as it slowly spun around. She knew the Kleve liked inventions, which was one of the things she knew about her. But what bothered her was the presence of such a thing.

A white atmosphere greeted her. Nobody. She had a choice between a staircase and an elevator. She could hear people talking as she walked down the stairs slowly. She listened intently, trying to figure out whose voice it was until she realized it was Kleve's.

She couldn't understand him because he was speaking Spanish. According to the voice she heard answering and agreeing with him, she guessed there were five people talking to him.

"I already sent someone to assassinate Mr. Malcogn, as you instructed, but he's as quick as the wind."

She was taken aback by what she heard. She understands the language they are now using. She chose to pay attention to what they were saying.

"Find a more experienced assassin. It doesn't matter how much it costs. I want him dead as soon as possible!"

"We've already done that, Dr. Vergan. What happened when we hired the most well-known assassin in Asia? He went first and killed it by his own hands. You have no idea what a Malcogn is capable of."

She sighed as she realized what she had discovered. In that case, Cuhen is more than a mere human being. That is why, even if they hide under the sea, it will kill them. God!

"I don't give a fuck!" Kleve yelled angrily, "I will kill him with my own hands!"

She came to a halt on the last step, as if the wind was preventing her foot from continuing.

"If Don Hernandez hadn't just sung, we wouldn't have a problem today. What a waste of time, that old man!"

Her heart was pounding, and she leaned against the wall. Why did her father get involved in the discussion? Is there anything she needs to know? She began to ask herself a lot of questions. Is Kleve in the picture?

"However, Doc, you made the correct decision. To murdered your fiancée's father. He's just a nuisance."

No!

She was startled by what she heard. She feels like she's going to fall for a while, so she leans close to the wall for support. It sounded like a broken record was playing in her head.

Murdered your fiancée's father.

Murdered your fiancée's father.

She had just noticed tears welling up in her eyes. Is Kleve the wrong person to be with her? Trusted? I mean, isn't it Cuhen who's at fault here? She was perplexed as to why this was happening. As tears streamed down her cheeks, she covered her mouth. Her stance caused her to tremble.

"That is the correct thing to do. That old man need to vanish from the scene," he said calmly. As if he's pleased to have said that word.

"How could you?!?" She couldn't stop herself from slapping his face.
