Chapter 80: Chapter 80

“Is this true Grace?” Grandpa asked as she looked at us and shook her head. Still denying?

“She’s not the Holland family’s daughter. How can you say something crazy like that? Mark will go insane if he heard you’re spouting nonsense” She said as she frowned at Ryan. Mark will not go insane, he will just kill you for what you did.

“Alright then wait for a while” Ryan said as he leaned against the sofa.

“Aunty Sella, do we have grapes here?” Ryan suddenly shouted and asked. Then that elderly woman quickly came to him and nodded with a happy expression.

“I was making that, young master. I remember that you like it.” She said while smiling at Ryan. Is she this happy to see Ryan and have him here?

“Yeah, bring it for the young lady. She likes it more than I do” Ryan pinched my cheek and said with a smile. I also smiled at him and looked at that aunty.

“Wait for me young lady” With a bright smile she ran into the house again. What a gentle woman she is. Completely opposite from the woman who was sitting in front of me.

“Grandpa, it’s been years” I heard Mark’s voice as he entered the house. Grandpa looked at him with a surprised face and that face suddenly turned into a smile.

“Mark.. you finally came here” Grandpa quickly stood up and hugged Mark. As Mark and grandpa took seats. I simply turned my face and looked at Ryan’s grandma and found she was sweating. Scared now?

“See, your grandson has married my sister without even letting me know. How are you going to punish him for that grandpa?” Mark teased as he smiled at me and grandpa.

“So this is our stubborn young lady huh? You’ve really changed” Grandpa looked at me and smiled. What? Stubborn? Me?

“I’m not stubborn” I said as he laughed loudly.

“You were. Don’t you think Ryan?” grandpa asked Ryan as Ryan looked at me and nodded. Really? How could he?

“Grandpa. Why don’t you help us to find the truth about Marianna’s and my little brother’s kidnap? I bet your wife knows it.” Mark said as he glared at her.

“I don’t know what you are talking about, Mark. I don’t think she’s your sister” She said while looking away from us. Why does she still want to prove that I’m not his sister?

“You can tell lies but DNA will never lie. She has totally the same blood as me and my father. How can you lie after everything you’ve done to us?” I knew Mark was losing his calmness as he talked.

“GRACE.. TELL THE DAMN TRUTH. I don’t think they are lying.” Suddenly grandpa shouted as she gasped from his angry voice. Her eyes became teary so she took a few breaths and looked at us.

“Yes I helped” She simply said while looking at me but yet her eyes were filled with hatred towards me.

“YOU HELPED? WHY?” Grandpa’s voice became even harsher as he hit the coffee table in front of him. He looks so much alike when Ryan is angry. Urghh..

“Because I hate and because of you” She shouted and looked at grandpa.

“Because of me? What have I ever done?” I saw the way grandpa’s jaws clenched because of anger. This woman clearly deserves it.

“You think I don’t know that you still love her? It was always her. Even if she loved another man you always loved her. So I hate this goddamn Holland family and it was all your fault.”

“You are still keeping her pictures with you in your study. What about me? I am your wife not that dead woman. It’s been more than thirty years but still you love her.” Who are they talking about? A woman?

“GRACE shut your mouth” grandpa’s eyes were covered with fury as he looked at her. Why is he angry this much?

“I hate this family.” she said as she glared at me and Mark.

“But that doesn’t mean that you could hurt children in their family, what was that? GRACE DON'T JUST LIE.” Her eyes turned red as she looked at grandpa.

“I just don’t understand why you still love her even after she left you.” Grandpa looked down with an extremely sad face and he let out a deep breath.

“She didn’t leave me. She had lung cancer so she had to leave” He spoke in a low voice and sighed.

“See, you still love her. You treated me well but never loved. All you did was love that dead woman.” She wiped her tears and said.

“Yes, I love her so what? Just don’t try to escape from what you did. You were an evil woman even when you were a kid. You think I don’t know that you sent Carla to another man’s bed after drugging her?” Carla who was that? I looked at grandpa and his eyes were covered with both hurt and hatred.

“Carla? My grandpa’s sister?” Mark asked with a confused look as grandpa nodded at him.

“Yes,” Grandpa looked at Mark and nodded. I don’t remember anyone or anything about my true family. Why can’t I just get my memories back? Urgh.

“You knew it? How?” She asked with a trembling voice and also her body.

“Of course I found it because Clara never cheats and I know her more than anyone. She left me because of you and your evil things. You sent her to another man’s bed and you climbed onto my bed that day. You were so lucky to be still alive because you got pregnant with Reishan”

“See Ryan this is your grandma. Just like you hate her I also hate her but I didn’t show it for years” Grandpa said with a hatred filled voice. Her tears rolled down from her eyes as she heard what grandpa said but she deserved it for doing bad things to people. I bet she loved him so much so his small words could hurt her beyond the imagination.
