Two days passed and Ryan and Mark didn’t come. Every time I called, Ryan’s phone was off. I had no idea and I was just angry. Angry because he didn’t even talk to me. Not only Ryan but also Mark was also like that. No messages and no calls.

“What do you think they are doing alone? Leaving their women and children” I asked Gwen who was eating cakes and enjoying herself as Mark was something invisible to her.

“Marianna, they will come okay? Don’t worry. Anyways they are men” I sighed because there is no point of talking to her. I got up from the sofa and turned to leave.

“Where are you going?” Gwen asked me as I looked at her.

“Going to eat something and wait until they come back. Like you” I said, she laughed loudly and nodded at me.

Time passed and it was late night. I put Noel to sleep with Myles and went to my room to take a shower, Suddenly I heard the door opening sound. Without going into the washroom I went downstairs slowly.

“I’m gonna fucking kill her, Ryan” I heard Mark’s voice and I stopped without going towards them.

“Just fucking calm down or you’ll ruin everything. Do you think I would forgive after killing my mother with my unborn brother? What the fuck?” I gasped as I heard what Ryan said. Killed his mother while she was pregnant? Who?

“Shit..” I heard Mark’s curse and without listening to them I left there and went into my room. I couldn’t ease my mind after what I heard. Without caring I went into the washroom and showered. When I came out of the room Ryan was already sitting on the bed. He looked at me and gave me a smile but that smile didn’t reach his cheeks. I could clearly see the depressed look on him and at the same time he was broken.

“Hey angel, it’s almost twelve in the night. Why didn't you sleep?” He asked me as he stood up from the bed and came to me. I smiled at him and shook my head.

“I wasn’t sleepy.” I kissed his cheek as he wrapped his arm around me.

“So is my little princess okay in here? Hmm?” He asked while caressing my belly gently.

“Hmm she’s okay” I smiled at him and said. Then he looked at me for a while and let out a deep breath.

“Where’s Noel?” He suddenly asked as his eyes fell on the bed.

“Sleeping with Myles” He nodded at me and took off his shirt.

“I’ll wash and come Julianna. Sleep now” He kissed my forehead and went into the washroom. Why is he like this? Something has happened and I could clearly tell it but I didn’t want to ask him because he just came and he’s still upset. I laid on the bed and after sometime Ryan came out while wearing a pair of comfortable shorts.

He climbed onto the bed and laid beside me as he pulled me to him. With a smile he started to caress my face.

“Did you eat Ryan?” I asked him. He nodded at me and buried his face against my neck with a few soft kisses on it.

“Why are you upset? Did something happen?” I caressed his silky hair and asked as he let out a deep hot breath against my neck. I don’t know what was wrong with him but I really hated it when he’s upset.

“I’ll tell you Julianna sleep now” I nodded at him and decided to sleep because I was already sleepy. I hugged him tightly and closed my eyes to sleep.

Next day I woke up and Ryan was nowhere to be seen. I got up from the bed and walked into the washroom and showered. I saw Ryan was talking with Mark as I entered the living room. They stopped their talk as soon as they saw me. Then I was greeted with two big bright smiles. I sighed and looked around and saw Noel was already up and playing with Myles.

“Why don’t you two explain what happened these two days?” I asked as Gwen came to us. I glared at Ryan and Mark because I wanted to know the truth. I really wanted to know everything they did and what happened, especially where they went.

“We went to where you and Noah were kept after the kidnap.” A reflective shudder went through my body as I heard what he said.

“Why? Why kidnapped?” I found my voice was trembling and for some unknown reason I was so sad.

“You found anything?” Gwen asked Mark as his eyes fell on Ryan with a deep sigh.

“Only found that Ryan’s grandma did it with someone. I knew it was her from the beginning but I didn’t know her intentions. They took you and Noah there to kill but because you lost memories they kept you alive.” My heart shook violently as I heard him. How could she?

“But I don’t think she recognized you when you became his surrogate” Tears welled in my eyes unintentionally because we didn’t do anything to her but she has just ruined our family. What was with her.

“Why did she do that? We didn’t do anything to her right?” I looked at Ryan and asked as he looked down with an extremely hurt look. He’s guilty, guilty because of that evil witch’s wrongdoing.

“It’s not only her Marianna, she really had someone to support her” What? Support her? Who would support someone to hurt people?

“We’ll find him from her. Don’t worry I’ll make her for what she did to us” I nodded at him and looked at Ryan. He was really upset. I walked towards him and sat next to him as I rested my head on his shoulder.

“I’m sorry” With that he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and kissed my head. I simply nodded at him because he did nothing and it’s unfair if I hate him because of his grandma.

“Julianna, did she ever say something not normal to you? Just wanted to know” I looked up at Ryan and I suddenly remembered what she said about Ryan’s mother.

“When I went to get Noel back, she told me about a woman who stayed in that house and she said she was so similar to me. She said she lost her life because she didn’t let go of someone she shouldn’t get close to” I didn’t mention her name but I didn’t want to hide anything from Ryan.

“I think the woman she mentioned was my mom” Ryan let out a sorrowful smile and looked down at me.

“My mother was killed by her orders too. I just don’t know why” I found his voice trembling. I patted the back of his pal and tried to comfort him. So she did so many evil things even to her own family. Her son and her own grandson. How could a woman become so cruel?
