It’s been almost five months since I left there. I was scared because Chris was looking for me and I didn’t want him to find me. I called Julianna and she was the one who said that Chris is looking for me everywhere like a crazy man. I still couldn’t understand him. Did I do something wrong to him by leaving without even a word? I don’t want to meet him and especially not in this state. I sighed and looked at my belly as I caressed it.

“Mommy’s sorry baby. Sorry for making you stay away from daddy” I never thought I would get pregnant after that night. If I knew that Chris didn’t use protection and I wanted to take a pill but because of everything I forgot.

I force myself to forget everything and get up and go to work. I started doing a job at a coffee shop and it’s really easy and simple but yet I’m tired sometimes because of this pregnancy. I quickly got up and showered myself and changed into clothes and ate breakfast. Suddenly I felt my baby moving. Unintentionally I smiled because this little guy started to move from yesterday.

“Baby, be a good boy mommy is going to work. Mommy loves you so much” I caressed my belly and spoke and he became calm again as he always did. I don’t but I just love this little life and I didn’t even feel any regret about having him. With that I left my apartment and went to the shop.

“Hey Mily, how are you today?” Aunty Sia came and asked me as she placed her hand on my belly. She’s the owner of this shop and she’s the one who took care of me all the time. She even bought me healthy food because of my baby boy.

“I’m good aunty but this little guy is moving now” She smiled and nodded.

“Hey boy, don’t bother mommy okay?” I smiled because of what she said. After talking to her for a while I went to do the small tasks that I had to do. Most of the time I stayed without doing anything because they forbade me from doing work because of my pregnancy. I spent my time in the shop and decided to go home early.

“Heavy rain is coming right?” I looked back at aunty Sia and nodded. The sky is already dark and showing marks of a heavy rain.

“Amelia, let me take you to the apartment” She said and I immediately shook my head because I didn’t want to bother her. I was tired and my body ached but I didn’t want to trouble her because she always helps me.

“No. I can go alone aunty. I’m going now. Thank you so much” I hugged her and said as she nodded at me with a smile but yet she’s worried.

“Call me if there’s anything okay?” I nodded at her and left the shop. As soon as I got into a taxi heavy rain drops started to fall down. I sighed and looked out of the window to see the rain but all my mind wanted me to think about is Chris. He treated me well and he cared about me but I left. I was guilty but at the same time I was angry because of his attitudes. He has women everywhere and I don’t like that. Which woman likes to share her man with many women? I sighed and forgot about him as the car stopped. I got out of the car and saw a luxurious car was stopped in the carpark. Urghh.. Again. I think Lisandra has brought another man to her apartment.

Without caring about anything I slowly walked to my apartment and I was just so tired. I looked at the sky and it’s already so dark but time is just six in the evening. I opened the door of my apartment and went in. Wait… didn’t I lock the door? Urghh Amelia you again forgot that. I wanted to switch on the light inside of my apartment but suddenly the baby moved again and I sighed because sometimes it hurts. I placed my hand on my belly and stroked it again because I wanted to calm my baby.

“Baby, mommy is so tired. Be a good boy and don’t move okay? Mommy loves you so much” I slowly walked and turned on lights. As soon as I turned on the lights my heart filled with horror as I looked at the man who was sitting on the sofa while leaning against it. Chris… how? When did he come?

“Wh.. why are you here?” I took a few steps back because of the look he had on his face and his fury filled eyes. He stood up from the sofa and came towards me while looking at me then his eyes fell on my stomach. No..

“Why am I here? Aren’t you happy to see me?” I covered my belly because of his evil smirk. What is he going to do?

“Stay…. Away.. don’t come” I warned him and my eyes became moist. How did this man find me?

“Who’s baby?” He stopped a few inches away from me and asked. Suddenly my mind filled with fear because what if he took my baby away from me because of his anger towards me?

“My boyfriend’s” I looked away from his eyes and spoke. Suddenly he came to me and grabbed my chin as he made me look at his fury filled eyes.

“Really? So where is he?” I looked at his fury and sarcasm filled eyes. I bit my lower lip and looked away from him again.

“He’s working. Leave before he comes” As soon as I said that he pushed me against the wall and caged me with his arms.

“Amelia, are you telling me that you let another man fuck you after I fucked you? Am I that useless?” With that he started to kiss my neck while caressing my belly. Suddenly the baby started to move again and I tried to push Chris away but I couldn’t.

“See, he’s happy to feel his daddy” My heart shook violently because of his words. Daddy?

“Don’t talk nonsense Chris. Please leave here. He already has his daddy” I finally managed to push him away.

“So you’re telling me that this child is not mine. Right?” I looked away from him and nodded.

“Let’s go. Abort it” What the hell? No.. how could he? Ask me to abort my child. Chris grabbed me from my hand to leave but I shook his hand away.

“How could you? It’s my son. I won’t do anything to him. Please go now” My tears rolled down as I looked at Chris’s face. I saw the hurt look in his face and he took a deep breath.

“Amelia, if this child possessed my DNA trust me you won’t see him again in the future. I’ll make him call mommy to another woman. You know I can do that right?” My heart stopped as I heard his cruel words. Is he trying to take my child away?

“You can’t do it. I’m his mother. How could you think about making him call another woman mommy? bastard” I raised my hand to slap him because I was furious but he grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him.

“Still denying the fact that the child is mine?” He gently hugged me and kissed my forehead. I clutched his shirt tightly and buried my face against his chest. My nose filled with his scent and I really love it.

“Why did you leave me Amelia? Where did I go wrong?” Suddenly I heard his broken voice and I looked up at him.

“Why didn’t you tell me that you’re pregnant? How can you be so cruel and make me stay away from my child’s life?” His eyes turned red as he spoke and I looked away from him as I broke his hug.

“Leave Chris. Don’t come again. I’m sorry” I looked at him and sighed but that made his eyes grow dark.

“I’m not leaving. I’M THE FUCKING FATHER OF THE CHILD IN YOUR BELLY.” I gasped as I heard him shout with fury.
