Chapter 758: Chapter 758

On the other side, Harry woke up later than usual because it was the weekend, and when he showed up in the common room, he saw Ron sitting there with a troubled expression.

"Another one's missing, this time it's Elvira," he complained.

"Who's that?" Harry asked.

"Don't you remember? She's a member of the Animagus Club. I've seen her there with Ernie before," Ron said.

Harry blinked, picturing a girl who loved asking questions. In his memory, Elvira was talented but always bombarded him with all sorts of messy questions whenever they met, making him somewhat overwhelmed.

"What happened to her?" Harry asked casually, only to find Ron glaring at him in protest. "Are you even listening?" Ron protested. Harry raised his hands apologetically, "Sorry, just woke up..."

"She didn't show up this morning. I asked Susan, she said Elvira failed," Ron rambled on. "As if that wasn't enough, first it was Ernie forgetting to wake up for the Transfiguration exam because he was too excited, then it was Blaise, and Zabini... I heard only four students signed up for the last full moon night."

Harry didn't know how to console Ron. Ron had been stuck on the second step of the Animagus transformation for over a month now, with no progress.

Hermione looked up from her book, sounding annoyed, "Don't mind him, Harry, he brought it upon himself."

"He's a bit resistant to his Animagus form," Hermione jumped in.

Ron whispered with an abnormal expression, "I feel like my Patronus isn't impressive enough."

Harry instantly understood his concern. Based on the previous successful cases, the Animagus form usually matched the Patronus form. Because Patronuses were often connected to a wizard's inner self (with a few exceptions), Harry, Hermione, Neville, Hannah, and others found practicing Animagus transformations relatively easy.

"But I thought you liked Fang. You're quite fond of him, aren't you?" Harry asked, puzzled. "You didn't have this thought when practicing your Patronus... Oh, you're not influenced by Malfoy, are you? Don't listen to him, think of Sirius..."

Ron seemed somewhat persuaded.

"Well, maybe I'm overthinking it. Are you going to Dumbledore's again today? Exams are coming up soon," he said.

"I saw Rita Skeeter in the Pensieve last time, maybe I'll get to see my parents soon, oh, and Professor Snape."

"It's strange, haven't you learned anything else?" Hermione asked.

He got too engrossed and collided head-on with someone rushing towards them. Harry fell to the ground, rubbing his forehead in pain, tears streaming down his face. As he lifted his heavy head, he was surprised to see Luna.

"Oh, Harry? Are you okay?" Luna said, looking a bit pained herself, one hand covering her forehead, the other clutching a box.

"Are you alright?" Harry asked gloomily, suddenly feeling something off in his hands. He lowered his head and found an envelope stuck to his palm. No, there were six or seven envelopes lying within his sight, seemingly drowned in envelopes.

Ron helped Harry up, while Hermione crouched down to help Luna gather the scattered letters.

Curiously, Harry picked up one of them. The envelope was adorned with strange patterns, very much Luna's style, possibly depicting some imaginary plant, he thought. In the middle of the pattern was written, "To my dear wife, Pandora."

"Thank you, Harry," Luna said, looking towards the letter in Harry's hand. He handed it to Luna. After Luna packed the last letter into the box, she said, "I have other things to attend to, so I'll leave now," waving to the three of them.

"She's sending out so many letters at once? I doubt even adding all the owls from the Owlery would be enough for her," Ron said in amazement.

"Or maybe these are accumulated from before," Hermione said, noticing the handwriting on the letters. "But who's Pandora?"

Hermione didn't expect anyone to answer, but Harry happened to have the answer.

"It's Luna's mother."

"Oh, oh..." Hermione seemed to understand all of a sudden, taking a sharp breath, her eyes shimmering with tears.

Ron widened his eyes, "But hasn't she... passed away already? Because of an accident?"

"Remember when Luna was looking for the Resurrection Stone at the beginning of the school year?" Hermione said softly, "Now we know what these letters are for."

A few minutes later, in the Ancient Runes office.

Felix stood at the door, addressing Luna inside, "So, Luna, as agreed, you have the morning. I must remind you, the Resurrection Stone is not perfect in any version of the story, so be careful not to be swayed by it."

"Thank you," Luna's calm voice replied, "Although I'm sad for my mom, I still have my dad, and I never feel like she's left us; it's just that we can't see her, so we need some tools. My dad and I cherish this opportunity." This content belongs to NoveI-Fire.ɴet

Felix paused for a few seconds in the doorway before closing the office door. At this moment, faint sounds of Luna reading the letters came from inside the room.

The weather outside turned sultry, and Felix, with Valen perched on his shoulder, walked into the courtyard, where the bushes were lush, filling the air with a strong floral scent. Finally, June had arrived.
