Iqmat was inside the hut at the poolside in Ashar’s house, lying on the coach there and voice of people talking from the television. She was still there, said that she came to greet them for some days even Ashar’s mother didn’t want her to go now so that they could planned the wedding together very well.

Ashar had went to work, Ashar’s mother and their Father had went out so it was Iqmat that was at home and she stayed at the poolside enjoying herself. Shukuran too was around didn’t go to school but Iqmat needs her privacy so she left Shukuran upstairs and came to stay at the poolside all alone.

She uses a blanket to cover her leg as she was lying down because of the cold, put her phone on the table and thinking. She just on the television her mind was not there or have any idea of what was going on there. Even her eye were not there, she was just looking at the ground and thinking deeply that it really shows from her looks.

“I hope I am doing the right it? Hope this plans will goes well as I am planning?”

“Hope I won’t jeopardize everything and been the loser at the end? Hope all these will work out and as I have been planning it?” She was asking herself different questions and so sad.

“Is it the way I am seeing it that it’s? My investments should be enough reason and think the same way with me. Know that I am doing it for us, this is far and beyond my capacity so I have to think of what to do and make sure it succeed, and that is what I am doing” She breathe in and moved her legs more closer.

“I am doing this for us! It’s for us!! Hope you haven’t been thinking of negative thing there, and you have wants to make me the loser. No! No!! I don’t think that one could happen”

“Yes! Now it can’t happen, I believe that it can’t happen, I believe so and I know so!” She said out loudly from her mind, even she didn’t known.

“I am doing it for us, I am doing it for us!! I am doing for us!! I am doing it for Ashar, I am doing it for him as well. Even I am doing it for everybody that is concern, since its different things that our parents care about, we too must know what to do and that is what I am doing now. Have to get the ride of any circumstances that may what to block the way” She changed her looks as she said so, she got down and putting her foot down on the floor.

“Hmm! don’t want to be the loser! I don’t want to loss as well, it must work as I pray” She breathe in and looking at her phone on the table.

“I need to make a call, I have to call and know if everything is as I think. I have to call” She said with low voice, got and took her phone on the table.

She wanted to sit down back, wanted to start dialing an intentional number when a call entered on her phone and it was her father. This was distracted her and she picked the call.

“Hello Dad!” She said with low voice.

“Hello Iqmat! Why are you not yet back? I have been waiting for you now, even thought that you comes back yesterday but didn’t see your shadow”

“I didn’t tell you that I will be back today now Father, so why are you concern about my returning” She said with low voice.

“Didn't I tell you that I am showing you to the board today which is Monday and finalize everything after your wedding, now you are talking as if you don’t know or you are deaf or sleeping when I am telling you” He said with loud voice.

“Why is that you don’t want to hear my own Father, we have talk about this and I have told you to call Suleiman if you need anybody to resign to, call him and do the necessary things”

“Are you okay Iqmat? You are my first born and you are here in Nigeria, leaves your brother, let him be there and do whatever he is doing. He is not in the line with what we do at the company so why will I call him home and turns my business to something else”

“Not business and something—he study in school before he goes to Music; even which music is he doing, just wasting money and you too know that. Just spending money anyhow and saying he is promoting music, call him home, gives him training and everything will be fine. Please leave me out of this father, I have my plans and also he is your male child and he has right over many things than I” Iqmat said with loud voice.

“What is wrong with both you? You that is here is sending me to Suleiman, Suleiman too is sending me back to you saying that you are in Nigeria and your husband too is Nigeria. Two of you have want me to be regretting for having only two of you, what is your problems?” Iqmat breathe in.

“Tell me what are your plans? Just shouting that you have plans! You have plans!! What are those plans? I want to hear and failure to say it, there will be a very big problem and tomorrow I don’t want to hear anything, you are going with me to see the board and that is final”

“I have plans! I have my own plans, and do you want me to jeopardize it!” She said with loud voice and quickly stopped talking.

“Alright Dad! Alright!! But can this be after the wedding, maybe when we come back from honeymoon” She said with low voice.

“You can decided to do that, but I must show you to the board this week. All that can be between you and the workers. You know what, just come home maybe tomorrow morning or this evening, we have many thing to discuss on” Her father said and hanged up from the call.

“Everybody should just leave me alone! What is all these now” Iqmat said with anger as she draw the phone down from her ear.

“Let see how you won’t call Suleiman by force after the wedding. Let me make my call” She said with low voice and continued dialing the number.

“Oh! Iqmat, this is where you are, I have been searching for you” Iqmat quickly cut the call as she heard a voice and didn’t allow it to ringing. Shukuran entered into the hut and say down beside her on the coach.

“I have been searching for you, even thought that you have gone”

“I can’t leave like that without informing you now, I just came here to receive fresh air to cool my head and also I want to be alone for a while” Iqmat replied with low voice and dropped the phone on the table.

“I thought as much! So what are you watch, let’s watch it together then” Shukuran said and sat down very well.

“It’s immediately Ashar arrives that I am leaving, I have something to do” She said with low voice.

“Alright then! I enjoyed your company and I am going to miss you” Shukuran said with a smiles on her face and Iqmat just giggles looking at the television.

“I don’t really know what happened to Yusufar, since you have arrived its fight with fight he is taking with his father. Just be talking rudely to him and I uses to warn him but he won’t listen, your father is not the kind of person that tolerate nonsense” Yusufar’s mother said with loud voice and complaining to Zanib.

“And this is why I don’t want him to come home. Anything like this, he has turned it to something else and talking somehow. Yesterday now, his father is talking about his own security, he turned it to something else and started talking rudely to his father, saying why his father is feeling insured concern his outing”

“What is really going on at home because I don’t understand?” Zanib said.

“What we are talking about is about you coming here to help me to take care of my child, still on that and now it’s Yusufar and Father. If you called him too, he will says that he didn’t has anything to say that we should leave him alone and if we want to know anything we should come home” Said with loud voice.

“I just want you to call him and talk to him, he should listen to his father and obey his wish because if his father handle in his way , I won’t say anything”

“Go out in the morning to where you don’t know and comes back at night or in the evening in this country, and with your father’s status not even now that he has joined politics. As his son he has to be very careful”

“Nigeria is not like London. Also because of what you saw, doesn’t mean you should be acting somehow to your father. If you can’t keep silent then go back, it’s because he hasn’t know your father, not someone to joke with. He told me to talk to him, if not he will talk to him in his own way and I know what he can do” Zanib breathe in, lying on the bed with the baby beside her and breastfeeding her.

“I talked to Yusufar but he didn’t listen, and that is why I called you to call him and talk him because I am tired of all these and the issues he is giving me” Said with loud voice.

“Alright! I will call him and talk to him, where is him now?” She asked with low voice.

“I don’t know because I am in my room, maybe he is in his room as well or he has gone out as usual” Their mother replied with low voice.

“Let me call him right now, I will talk to him and call you back Mother” Zanib said and hanged up from the call.

“I know what I am talking about and what your father can do, Yusufar don’t put yourself in trouble” Their mother said with low voice as she dropped the phone on the bed and felt bad.

Yusufar was in his bedroom, sitting on the chair with the laptop on his laps and working on it. Writing out another new places to go for the week and didn’t care about what his father said. He was busy writing down the places and searching when his phone started ringing.

“Hello Sister! I am busy, can you can call back please” He said with loud voice, used his left shoulder to hold the phone and continued working.

“No I can’t! I have to talk to you and I just finished talking to mummy, complaining bitterly about you. What is your problem?” Yusufar closed the laptop and held the phone properly.

“Saying that you are not in good items with father again just always picking a fight with him even when he is trying to protect you, don't allow Father to talk before you come up with something and now house is not at in peace again"

"I am not having any fight with anybody, but her husband should just don't interfere with my outing. Why is he so insecure about my outfit and what is his problem with it" Yusufar said with anger.

"This is what Mom is talking about, it's Father you are talking to like that. What is really going on? What caused all these? And how can it end?" Zainab asked.

"Very simple, call Mom or Dad back and ask them about Somia, her mother and her siblings. None of them can't keeps saying that they don't know where they are and want me to sit down and believe that, Father is one controlling their father's company and many properties own my Somia's Father. I just discovered that not quite long, so I must know what is going on"

"I don't know why Mom is keeping silent and can't talk or say anything about it; and If she can't talk I will make sure I get to the root of it. So Sister Zainab, stay out of this, this is Man and Man. Father can't do anything to me"

"So you don't know what happened to Somia, her siblings and their Mother now. I thought you have meet each other there and Mom didn't say anything. What is really going? I want to know and hear"

"Sis! I can't tell you anything for now, until I find Somia and I have been working on it. I don't care of where it get to" He said with loud voice.

"Ma! Maybe later, I am busy as I said" hanged up from the call, dropped the phone on the bed a d continued working.
