A young lady put two soft drink inside a very big ceramic tray and beside the foods that had been there before. The lady was one of the attendance in the canteen at MMO Company and wearing a uniform with the MMO Company written boldly on it.
Somia shows her appreciation to the lady, carried the tray on the cabinet and leaving the place going to where she and Semirat were sitting.
Semirat put her phone down on the table and stopped pressing it, Somia put the tray down on the edge of the table and Semirat assisted her to be taking the food out from the tray. Somia position the empty tray everywhere and sat down on the chair.
“Thank you my friend!” Semirat said and showing the appreciation for Somia getting food for her.
“You are highly welcome my lovely friend” Somia said as she adjusted the chair very well.
“Ah! Today is so busy, I don’t why even Ashar too is busy as well. He just told me that I should go and eat, since he refused I obeyed him”
“You that My assistant said that I should ask why everything blocked today and everybody get busy, is here now saying you don’t know why” Somia giggles as Semirat spoke.
“Well! Ashar said it’s because it has been ending of the year so balancing of accounting will have started and also external Auditors will be here soon to audit the account and everything must have ready before they comes” Somia explained.
“I said so since that it’s we from Auditing and accounting department that are busy more, I don’t even remember it has been ending of the year already”
“Same here, and it’s because joined them at middle” Somia said as she drank a drink.
“What I am telling you on the phone is that, Tomiwa’s father came here a day before yesterday. Even I thought you will you come here yesterday but you don’t”
“It’s Ashar that use to determine that. But that Ali or Akeem has boldness sha still came here”
“Begging and asking for stupid money, he even wants to call the man that for me to know that he is not lying but I told him to hold it and not get me involve in his sheet”
“So when he knows that if something happened he doesn’t have anywhere to recover it from why did he go and borrow the money” Somia hissed.
“He has thought that he has me, but didn’t know that was in the past, I let him know that I don’t have any money. Even he wants to start using an emotional blackmails but I told him to keeps that not for me again”
“He is even a very shameless man, don’t ready to build yourself up and stand like a man but to depends on a woman”
“That is how it be, even if it’s not a stupid love that black folded me then I could have listen to my mother, look at me now” said with regretting look.
“Hmm! It’s good to be listening to all those our mothers. What about you told him that you will get for him?’
“He said I should sphere him that, that he can’t be doing Sir or Ma to anybody” Somia busted into a loud laughs.
“You have spoiled I swear. Let him go like that and never come to your workplace or home again. I don’t dare to give him any money”
“I told him and let him know. But I am thinking that he may want to do something to collect the money by force, he knows my house and here that mean he has known everything about us including his son as well, he may want to do something”
“Forget that he can’t do anything, and even he try to do something stupid he will know you have boxer by your side”
“Hmm! I give it to you” Semirat said with smiles.
“I told you know, I went to boxing school in London and with Yusufar by uncle’s son. That time we are just enjoying around without know that everything is going to end like this” Somia felt bad as she was sharing her past memories.
“I am promise you that this too is just for midterm not permanent at all” Semirat said with encourage words and Somia giggles.

Yusufar was in his room, laying on the bed with a pillow uses to support his hands and watching football from the television on the wall in his room, he was busy with the football and following every movement took by the player.
His phone started ringing beside him on the bed, Yusufar ignore it because he didn’t wants anything to distract him from the football that he was watching.
“Oh! Who the hell is it?” He said with anger and took the phone beside him.
“Oh! It’s sis” he said as he look at the phone and pick it.
“Hello sister Zaira, I am good ma” he greeted her back.
“What is really going on now? Why did Father and not Mother not coming again, I need mother here now” She was very agree even from her voice.
“Father said that he is busy right now even there is a contract he is expecting so he must get it first before he can go anywhere”
“Then when he knows he is busy he should allow mother to come now, I really need her physically here and she telling me that there is nothing she can do”
“There is nothing mother can do as she said. I will advice you to plan yourself well and managing that video call with mother, also put your mind to next year sister” still watching the football and trying to follow it.
“Next year! What rubbish are you saying now” Zaria said with anger.
“How many months remains for this year to end. Let me tell you from what I heard, the contract that Dad is waiting for haven’t get to the federal government’s table at all and not talk of approving it! And as I heard about Nigeria government things doesn’t use to fast at all so put your mind to next year”
“This is unfair now. Help me to go and talk to him now, you are there now he should let you be acting for him still he comes back now. Go and talk to him”
“I am sorry! I can’t go and talk to anybody” He said with anger, since that yesterday that his father had slapped him, he didn’t talk to him.
“What do you mean by you can’t go and talk to anybody? Is it father you are referring to as anybody?” Zaira said with surprised.
“I and Father are not in good terms and we haven’t be talking since yesterday and I am not ready to talk to anybody!”
“When did you arrived that you and father has been having issues. Is something happening over there” Yusufar adjusted and laying very well.
“Many things are happening. It’s since I have arrived that I have been asking him about Somia, her siblings and their mother but Daddy is not answering me. He is the CEO of his late brother’s company and able to say anything about Somia and her siblings”
“Ah! Father is the CEO of his late brother’s company, how? What happened?”
“Later I saw all his crime’s video, as he is killing people and makes the detectives and newscasters to be thinking its natural death. I want to comforted him yesterday and told him to tell me if he has killed Somia, her siblings and their mother as well but for him to say the truth, he slapped me for trespassing” He said with anger
“Father killing people! Is he a drug dealer? Also father is not like this”
“Did any of us lives with him or mother, not London we are together with Somia and her siblings so how do you want to know whom he is? Just within two weeks or a month he use to spend with us”
“This is so serious right now, no wonder Mom don’t want you to come home” Zaira said.
“Yes! Mom too was just there and unable to say anything”
“This is not right! I am calling mother right now” said with loud voice and hanged up.
“You better put your mind to next year or not expecting anybody at all” Yusufar said to himself as he put the phone down and continued watching his football.
