Ashar and the laundry man’s cars drove inside the police station and two of them quickly parked their cars; the two front doors and the right door at Ashar’s car opened widely and three of them ran down from the car. The laundry man too had got down from the car, and waiting for them.

Four of them entered into the police station, met the two police officers at the counter and they stopped them. Four of them turned to them and Raheem walked closer to them.

“We need to see your head there, and in time” Raheem said with loud voice.

“There is an emergency, and we need you guys to attend to it right now. No time to be wasting at all” Raheem said and it shows all over him that he had been disturbed.

“What really happened Sir? Let’s hear you out first” second police officer said.

“Our friend and her mother have been kidnapped, we are trying to call her number this morning when we received a call that she sent ‘Safe us—safe us’ to one of her siblings in the hospital and that was around eleven yesterday night. We were just coming from her house now, we saw her phone and her mother’s phone on the floor and very obvious that they have been attacked and kidnapped” Raheem said.

“Calm down Sir, and let me ask this question. Where are the victims and her siblings that she sent the text message to?” The first police officer asked.

“One of her siblings is not feeling fine and he is the hospital, so we told Nibia whom is the second born to stay with him when three of us went home to rest and prepare for this morning. I went to my house and Somia whom is the victim and her mother went to their house and that was round eight clocks yesterday night” Semirat said. Ashar was just looking and kept silent.

“Who are you to the victim madam?” the police asked.

“A friend, Somia is my friend and a friend to all of us here” Semirat replied.

“No time for all these, get the boys and take a fast step please” Raheem said.

“Please calm down Sir, Have you receive any call from those kidnappers?” the second police asked.

“No, and this is not a kind of kidnapping that they will call for ransom or something. We know what we are talking about and facing” Raheem said with anger.

“Someone had sent the car number of those suspects to me, let’s track it on time and get them. We know what we are talking about” Semirat said.

“Calm down, it’s our job that we are doing and we must ask all the necessary questions” the first police officer said.

“Since you haven’t heard anything from those kidnappers that mean you have to wait for seventy-two hours and that is when we can take a step---“Ashar looked at the man as he said so and shouted loudly.

“Did you know what you are saying at all, we brought a case here for you to call out your men and order them to follow us, you are saying that we should go and wait for seventy-two hours” Ashar said with loud voice.

“Sir! Sir, it’s the protocol that we are following. This is kidnapping case, even we can’t call it kidnapping yet until we see full evidence and that is why I said that you should wait for seventy-two hours and after that we will take a step-----“

“What are you saying? Do you know what could have happened before that your seventy-two hours” Ashar said with anger.

“I have said that you should let us work on it, you are saying that you are coming to police station. Can you see now?” the laundry man said with anger and dialing a number.

“Listen to me and listen good; get all the boys and meet me at our working place. I will be there in few minutes so you guys should have been there; we have an operation to carry out” the laundry man hanged up from the call.

“I can’t withstand all these, I will take a step and it will good you should let us go now and let I and my boys carry it out” the man said and talking to Ashar.

“Who are you young man? And it will good you shouldn’t violent the rule and let we police officers handle it than to do it legally” the laundry man looked the man that talked with bad look and brought out his ID card.

The laundry man turned back and going out; Ashar and others followed him and going out.

Four of them came out from the stations and walking to their car; Ashar and co stopped walking as they got to the car and faced the laundry man. They were looking at him receiving call and gave him time to hang up from the call.

“So what are we doing now, where are we going to?” Raheem asked.

“We are going to our working place, I have called my boss and he has provided everything that we will need for us. So work has started” The man replied.

“Wait! Is there anyone that can help us to track the car since you have the car’s number? It’s the tracker office I called now and they said that they are not working today, and also it’s will take two days before we get the result because they have much in hand’

“Why is this country so useless like this? What is all these?” Ashar said with loud voice.

“This is the kind of country that we are; is there anyone? Private trackers?” the man asked.

“Ali can do, Ali and his friend can do this. They are mechanical engineers” Semirat said.

“Good, call them now and no time at all” Semirat started dialing Ali’s number as the laundry man said so.

“Hello Semirat, how are you?” Ali was at the working place and with TJ.

“You are right and it has happened, Somia and her mother have been kidnapped” Semirat said with low voice and very sad.

“What? I felt suspicious about those boys and that is why I took their car’s number” Ali said with loud voice and breathes out.

“Please we need your help; we want you to help us with the tracker. Can you please come to where we are and we really need your help?” Semirat said with low voice.

“Off course, we are coming right now. Where are you?” Ali said with loud voice.

“They should come to Amontekun working place, if they don’t know the place, let's send the address to them quickly” the laundry man said.

“Semirat, calm down I know Amontekun place and we are coming now” Ali said with loud voice.

“Alright, we will be expecting you and thank you very much” Semirat said with low voice.

“Stop that Semirat, you will see us now” Ali hanged up from the call.

“Somia and her mother have been kidnapped; we have to go now and to help them. Carry your laptop and let us go” Ali said to Tj.

“What? We have to leave now, nothing should happen to Somia” Tj said with loud voice, carried the back that his laptop was inside and left the room with Ali.

Two of them came out from the office, just entered into a car that they were repairing without saying anything to their boys. Started the car and leaving.

Somia and her mother opened their eye as they rolled to each other, opened their eye clearly and saw themselves in an uncompleted building but it was beautiful and decorated. Two of them looked at themselves, and saw that their hands were tied with rope and also their legs.

“Where are we? Is anyone here?” Somia shouted with loud voice. They just woke up to life since yesterday that they had been kidnapped.

“I said is there anyone here, help us! Help us” Somia keeps shouting and trying to lose herself.

“Please, silent and don’t shout because we don’t know how dangerous this place is” Somia’s mother said with low voice.

“We can’t just keep silent, if I shout someone can come to our rescue” Somia said with low voice and continued shouting.

“Don’t shout, this place can be a very dangerous place and those people can harm you for shouting-----“Somia’s mother was talking when they heard a voice.

“And it will good to listen to your mother; you will just waste your life for shouting” Somia’s uncle got there with Strong and one of his boys.

The contract that I have been looking forward for all this while” Somia was looking at him with bad look and with anger.

“You have given the contract to the person that you want and that had gone. What is on ground now is that I want my properties back and you have to sign it back right now” Somia’s uncle said and put his hand at the back, Strong gave him a document and with a pen.

“That is it, sign my properties back now” He dropped the document on the ground at the front of Somia and with the pen on it. Strong removed the rope from Somia’s hands and looking at her

“The properties belong to my late father, and it’s an inheritance to I and my siblings-“Somia’s uncle gave Somia a dirty slap as she said so, and there was trace of blood on her checks.

“I said you should keep quiet, and don’t dare to utter a word. Now do as I said” He said with loud voice.

“I am not signing anything do your worst, Uncle” Somia said with loud voice.
