Chapter 103: Chapter 103

Funbi was just resuming to work, and just getting to her office. She put her handbag down on the table, turned to her left hand side and going to  a corner in her office.

She got to the coffee maker, opened it and brought out a small mug. She plugged the coffee maker to a socket, on it and leaving the place. She entered into the toilet to wash the mug and came out after few minutes, she opened the coffee maker again and started pouring coffee inside the mug. She closed the coffee maker as the mug full, off it and going back to her table with the mug full with coffee on her right hand.

She put the mug down on the table, arranged the table and placed her laptop well. She entered into her seat, sat down on the chair and opening the laptop. She was adjusting her cloth, making her comfortable on the chair and when the laptop was booting.

She draw the laptop closer to herself, and wanted to start walking when her phone started ringing beside her. She picked the phone up, and picked the call.

"Hello girl! Good morning" it was Shukuran that called.

"Hello! Good morning!" Shukuran said, she was inside the bedroom and laying on the bed.

"How are you doing? Even it's like our minds are working together, I am just thinking to call you" Funbi said and with smiles.

"Oh! Really. Well! Let me say I am good" she said somehow and from her voice it was like she was angry over something or someone.

"What I want to call for is that, the wedding is in one week and few days now. So we should bring that brider shower's party plan to reality and let's start doing that, even I am taking two weeks off from work" Funbi said.

"Did you want to act like you don't know or want to be predenting to me, its will better to stop that!" Shukuran said with loud voice.

"What are you talking about Shukuran? And why is your voice like this? Because I don't understand" Funbi said with loud voice.

"You are Iqmat's friend, her only friend and you can't say that didn't know about that!" Shukuran was really angry and couldn't believed that Iqmat could have that kind of plan.

"Know about what? What are you really talking about Shukuran? It will better to talk straight than to be putting different allegations on me or assuming maybe know about something" Funbi said, and as impatient person that she too was she had got angry as well.

"Oh! You didn't know that Iqmat has a boyfriend, one California boyfriend and all these while she has been deceiving herself because it's not me she is deceiving!" Shukuran said.

"Waiting! Waiting! I am lost. Boyfriend! Iqmat! I don't really get. It's only Ashar that she has, and she loves and that is why I always fighting for her because her happiness is mine" Funbi said.

"Funbi! All that Iqmat loves my brother or he is only one that she has are all games. She had never loves brother Ashar for once like this, she has a boyfriend in California and whom she loves so much--"

"What!" Funbi shouted and interrupted Shukuran as she was talking.

"Her Californians boyfriend showed up recently, and that was when she let everyone knows that she had been playing us and deceiving us that she loves Ashar. Her plan is to disappear a day after the wedding and go back to California to meet her boyfriend.

She didn't know that the guy would showed up like this and everything would be coincidental like this" Shukuran said.

"I can't believe this! Did Iqmat knows what she has caused by deceiving us and showing us like she really loves Ashar" Funbi said with loud voice.

"She really disappointed me! I can't believe all her acting all this while are fakes, and plans. I am really angry like this because she shouldn't have done that, not from her" Shukuran said with anger.

"She really mess up big time, she shouldn't have been deceiving us and predenting. The way I and Somia are now is because of her, trying to protect my friend's thing and guarding it as much I can. And without know that she is faking us" Funbi said.

"I don't have problem with anything here but that her stupid plan. She now painted my brother in unserious colour and showed his own pictures to the world like he is the one that didn't want the relationship to work. Complaining about his behaviour, nagging and doing all those nonsense, without knowing that you too you are hinding your own" Shukuran took a breathe.

"Brother showed it out that he didn't like you that it's his parents wish that he is doing and everyone knows. Before he used to go to club, carried girls and spent overnight. Later when he met Somia, he changed and everyone knows that it's because of Somia he changed. He showed his true colour and everyone knows, but you Iqmat keeps deceiving people and wasting our time" Shukuran said.

"No! No!! Iqmat didn't do this well at all, she really disappoint me big time. With alot of thing I have done for her and sacrificed, it was because of Somia that I had a fought with that is why I am not entitled to annual allowance again and I didn't feel it still happy that I am doing it for friendship without know that all that they are just in vain" Funbi said.

"If it's not because of how nice Somia is, I too have wanted to be behaving like mother and wanted to send her far away from my brother because I really like Iqmat and I want her in our family, without know that she is just predenting and deceiving herself.

I won't lie Funbi, I am really angry with Iqmat!" Shukuran said.

"Shukuran! I am going to Iqmat's house right now, I don't think I can hold this!" Funbi said with anger showed her face.

"Her father said since that day, that she had said that for her not to get married to that her Californian boyfriend she is going to kill herself. That since that day she hasn't open the door, but I don't know now" Shukuran said.

"She will open it! You know what I am going now, and I will call you back" Funbi hanged up from the call with anger.

"Iqmat has another boyfriend, and she is just deceiving us all these while. No! This is very stupid!" She got up, dropped her phone said her bag and wanted to carried the handbag when the door opened.

"Good morning ma!" A young lady said with low voice, and whom was her assistant and just resuming to work.

"Stay in this my office still I will come back, I am going somewhere now" She said with loud voice, put the bag in her arm and going out.

"Alright ma!" The lady said and looking at Funbi going out with anger showed all over her, sound of the door opened and closed.

Somia, Semirat and the laundry man were just entering into the company and just going to the secretary place to sign when Funbi came out from her corner with anger and going out.

Three of them looked at her, as they were walkinh they didn't use to talk to her or greeted each other so they too decided to ignore her and keep walking to the secretary.

"Good morning to two of you!" Funbi greeted and going out, Somia and Semirat looked at each other as Funbi passed beside them and greeted them.

"Your friend greeted us today!" Semirat said with low voice and giggles.

"Maybe the anger in her face didn't let her know that it's me Somia, and you my friend. The anger may not" Somia said.

"Good morning!" The secretary smiled and greeted them.

"You are right! She always angry!" Semirat said and waiting for Somia to done as she was signing on the attendance book.

"See you later!" Somia said, and talking to Semirat. She carried her handbag and going to her office, the laundry man followed her and walking behind as her bodyguard.

Sound of the door opened by Somia, and two of them entering into the office. The laundry man closed the door from behind and walking behind Somia; Ashar got up from his chair as he saw Somia entering and walking closer to her. A young man was standing beside the window at Ashar's corner and he was the guy assigned for Somia and whom will be helping her with the project.

"Good morning my girl!" Ashar said and hugged Somia, since everything had showed out the way it could be Ashar had decided to being showing his love and the care to Somia and nothing to hind anymore.

"It was fine! And yours? How are you doing?" Somia said and with smiles on her face.

"I am good! And my night yesterday is the sweetest ever!" Ashar said with a romantic look and Somia giggles as two if them were looking at each other.

"Okay! Come with me!" Ashar held Somia's right hand and taking her to his seat.

"Sit down!" He supported her to sit down on the chair gently and looking at her with smiles for few minutes.

"From now on the power and order of this company has been in your hand still you will finished with this project, and the guy here will be assisting you and he will take your seat" Ashar said with low voice.

"I am leaving this company for you still you finished because I don't want anyone to come to me, so from now you are having the full powers and don't worry about anything. I will know what to tell father so him too won't interfere in it" Ashar said.

"Thank you very much for this!" Somia said and so happy.

"Anything for you love!" Ashar took his laptop bag put it on his right shoulder and with his phone on his hand.

"Be good okay, and be fine for me!" Ashar kissed Somia at her front head and wanted to be going out from the office.

"Alright! Love you!" Ashar turned back as Somia said so and so happy to hear that from Somia.

"Always love you!" Ashar said with full excitement and turned back.

"Protect her for me, okay!" Ashar said with low voice to the laundry man and two of them shook hands, AshaAshar going out.

Sound of the door opened and closed after few minutes. Somia repositioned herself and adjusted her cloth, the young man walked to the front and standing at the front of Somia.

"I am Teniola Sunday, and one of their head at human resources department. As CEO had told me, he said that I will be here and working with you still we finished with the trillion naira contract. So nice to meet you ma!" The young man said and introduced himself.

"Thank you! I am Somia Yahaya Abubakar, nice to work with you" Somia said with smiles.

"Yahaya Abubakar---" the guy saying.

"Same Yahaya Abubakar that everyone knows!" Somia said and she had ready known what the man wanted to say.

"Never mind about that, if you want to understand you will later!" Somia said with low voice and laughed loudly.

"Go and have your seat, and let's start with the work" Somia said as she opened her laptop and pressed the start button.

"Yes ma!" The young man said and going to his table.

"Somia! I will be inside the car, and don't forget to call me if you need anything so I can get it for you" the laundry man said.

"Alright, I will!" Somia replied.

"Somia! Trust noone and always remembering that!" The laundry man said with low voice and going out.

"Alright!" Somia said with low voice and looking at him going out, and still the door closed.

Funbi's car drove inside Iqmat's house, she just parked anyhow and got down from the car. She turned to her right hand side and going inside the house with anger still showing on her face.

She opened the door and got down to the living room, she met a maid there arranging something on the table. She greeted Funbi, Funbi just asked where Iqmat was without saying another word and going upstairs to meet her.

The maid was looking at her as she was climbing the staircases and it had showed that she was very angry.

Funbi got to the corridor upstairs and going to Iqmat's room; she stopped walking as she got there and knocking at the door.

"Who is there?" Iqmat said with low voice and she was on the bed with Ramal. Her mother left two of them and she was downstairs, she left them to talk and before she talks to her.

"It's me Funbi!" Funbi replied with low voice.

"Oh! Funbi, I am coming!" Iqmat's mood had changed as she was seeing Ramal beside her and happy that her parents allowed him to be with her. So this made her to be really happy.

She got down from the bed, and going to the door to open it. She opened the door widely with smiles and showed her face out.

As she showed her face, Funbi gave her a very dirty slap.

"What!" Iqmat said with loud voice and putting her right hand on her cheek.

"How dare you! How dare you deceiving and predenting to us!" Funbi said with loud voice and did that out of anger.

"And that is why you slapped me!" Iqmat said.

"Its worth it! Do you know how painful and disappointed I am when I known that you have been deceiving us all these while, predenting to us like you love Ashar without known that you are just predenting"

"I have my reasons for my actions, and I am doing what will be best for me" Iqmat said with low voice.

"Really! And you don't dare to think about those that you are deceiving. Did you know all what I have done for you and what I have caused because of you. I turned that innocent girl Somia to my best enemy because of you, showing the girl nothing but hatred and I turned myself to a fighting angel for you not only on Somia but others. And now I am finding out that all my sacrifices and fights are just in vain" Funbi was really burning inside her.

"How did you want me to face those people now or how to make myself as a good person at the front of them. You really disappoint me Iqmat, if you know that are your stupid plans you won't have been deceiving us and predenting to us. You should have clear the ground and let's us know that you didn't love Ashar, and now you won't turn us out as a bad person or let's been fighting for nothing!" Funbi said.

"Concern that, that is why I always used to warn you and used to talk to you to be nice especially to that Somia" Iqmat said.

"Oh! Oh!! Really, that is what you can say?" Funbi said.

"Trying to protect what my friend value and love is a crime now. I am trying to protect you as a good friend that I am to you, and ready to fight to you. So now this is what you can say" Iqmat breathe in.

"You know what! I am highly disappointed in you, and you really makes me angry!" Funbi turned back with anger and wanted to be leaving. She turned back and faced Iqmat.

"I want you to know that 'I am a good friend to you' but you are a bad friend because you really disappoint me!" Funbi said with loud voice, and leaving with anger.

"I am sorry! Sorry, Funbi!" Iqmat said with loud voice.

"Huu!" Iqmat did as she breathe out and looking at Funbi going, she walked inside and closed the door.
