A year later
"I miss you so much" Aberdeen crushed me in a hug.
"It's good to be back" I muttered "I know, now come along there's a hottie at home" she winks at him and sashays her way to the car.
After running away from the funeral I decided to grab my stuff from Aaron's pack and left for the human realms. I called back to apologize to Aberdeen and told her that I need to rethink this whole thing.
So going to the human realms was the best thing that ever happened to me. I met so many wonderful people and was able to live a life of a human being. I just say they made me fall in love with kids and wish to adopt one someday.
It's a whole new phase for me there were no wolves, hunters, rogues, or any mate dish. It is just me and the wonders of their world as shown in the movies that we watch in our realm.
Even though the trip was short, should have taken 3 or maybe 5 years but at least I have relieved myself.
Coming back was something I wanted to do, no one can leave things un-mend. We all need to make amendments, forgive and then forget.
Here I am back in Alcader's pack, my pack. Once we arrived back at the packhouse I saw Leto outside with their son Augustus. Yeah, Aberdeen told me that she gave birth to a boy and I must say he's so adorable in his photo the ones Aber showed me in the car on our way here.
When the car was parked Leto walks towards us handling the baby to Aber then spread his arm wide for me and I run into them. He drags me to Josh's office his hand still on my arms.
"I swear he's been nagging me about you" Aberdeen shook her head with the complaint.
We enter the office and see someone talking to the alpha, Aber pumps me on the shoulder pointing her head in his direction then winks at me. Josh stopped talking and stood up from his desk.
I went up to him "it's good to have you back" he pats me on the shoulder. He turns me around to face a young handsome werewolf male, by his looks he is unmated.
"This is Elle... Elle meets Jeff our new top warrior," my mouth went into an o shape. I shook his hand giving him my best smile. I would lie if I told you that this guy is not hot because definitely he is and I'm almost drooling now.
Moon goddess those eyes and that smile if only he was made for me how tragic. Eliz laughs in my head, "Tsk Tsk too bad Elle" she shook her head.
"So it's true you're back," now who the bold just ruin the moment.
I turn away from Jeff and find him leaning towards the door frame which is now widely open. I could feel the mood in the room shift as if Josh is afraid that I might explode.
Yeah, Aberdeen already told me everything that Aaron apologizes to them after the funeral. He even begs them to create an alliance and see past their differences.
"Hi" I smile at him making Josh, Aberdeen, Leto's eyes blink while Jeff just looks confused.
"I came right away when I heard you came," he seems to be nervous
"I know" 'liar' hiss Eliz and again everyone in the room keeps looking between the two of us.
"Do you want to take a walk with me?" he asked me and could still feel how nervous he is.
"I would love that" I wasn't lying when I say I came back to make peace with everyone and it's not such a bad idea to start with Aaron. I turn to the others "it would be nice if a meal would be ready for your guests when they return right guys."
Aberdeen roll her eyes "oh please guest my a-"
"shhh, a child in the room woman, bad role model" I pinch Augustus' cheeks kissing his forehead "bad mother aww poor baby" I tease her making the men chuckle.
"Now excuse me" I walk towards Aaron
"So where do you want to start."
