"Alpha Zeus"

Eric shifted and greeted him followed by Aaron. Eliz fan herself with her paws before we turn to the other side.

'Our poor innocent eyes' I pouted, she laughed in my face. They just thought we have seen tons of it but hey this is the first time we saw that male glory they talk about.

We saw one of the pack members handing out clothes so we moved and she gave us a sweatpants and black t-shirt. We changed behind a tree away from the eyes of the pervs male wolves, just kidding.

Jay came behind me "Elle, are you okay?"

I smile back at him "yeah, so he's your Alpha" he runs his hand through his temple

"yeah you could say that but." I frown at him "Jay is he not the one who saves me"

"No, I mean not really" he kept rambling "look Elle it's complicated and I know you'll want to thank him for saving your life but can you not do it. You know just let it go" now he is making me confused "please Elle, just be grateful that's all" I wanted to push for answers but I know he wouldn't answer any of it.

Alpha Zeus walk ahead with Aaron and Eric while I trail behind with Jay, catching up on the time we went on our separate ways.

Time passed the clock in Aaron's office kept ticking, my nails tapping the armchair and my eyes rolling from side to side to the Alphas and their betas. They couldn't agree on who to send to the Northernbridge Court to get Jea.

After the surprise attack from the hunters and the grand entrance of Alpha Zues everyone went back to Aaron's office and instead of having breakfast we have lunch since the fight went up for hours. Like I say I was so high to notice the time and hours especially when my wolf wasn't helping.

The only time she did is when she felt her mate running in our direction 'what a show-off.' Sitting in silence was quite awkward.

Jay has told me some interesting things about Zues. He didn't go to details with it but he told me his one rule.

One rule is never telling him that you owe him especially if you're a female cause he will only ask for one thing from them in return. He doesn't care whether you're mated or not and that could be one of the reasons why he did not let me thank him.

The door opens up Jaywalk in with the list and posters of those wanted by the hunters. He has also had some of the books in his arms almost falling. I went up to help him then set it on the table in the middle.

I turn to the right to find Zues sternly looking at me. Quickly I look down to my feet and walk back to my seat avoiding his preying eyes.

"Before we start again I just want to know why she's doing here in our business," Zues stoic voice boom inside the room, he was up to the table.

Aaron turned his gaze to me "she's one of the Wanted people"

"it's funny she's not in our list, we only have one female on the list and her poster looks nothing like her" he pointed to me "still that does not answer my question why she's in here. She's not a luna or a beta"

Eric stood up from his chair.

"She will find Jea for us and yes she already volunteers to go to the death mountains" he refers to Edinburgh.

I gritted my teeth 'since when did I volunteer again' groaning at Eliz 'umm you forgot it was before the attack" Eliz whimpered.

As if something clicks in Zues head he exclaimed." Ahh, so you're that girl." I furrow my eyebrow, "I miss that entertaining meeting where two luna went up against Josh top warrior," he laughs shortly.

"The unmated one, who mated other wolves mates" he winks in my direction. All the seriousness Alpha I met at the attack constantly changes into Cassanova.

"You must have got the wrong info Alpha as you see I don't mate other people's mate," I retorted.

He threw me his serious look "I like you. Wish you could be my luna. I heard that mouth of yours could be good for something else."

Jay was right not to let me say thanks to the bastard. The jerk does not deserve it.

Aaron met my eyes he sighs before speaking "Alpha Zues you're in my pack. It is disrespectful to treat someone under my roof in such a manner."

Aaron seems to hit the nerve in him, Zues glare back at him before his hands rest on the table.

"I don't know why you keep her here but you should let the hunters have her," he bent down the table reaching for the poster.

Everything went silent again.
